Seeing this mother and her child being buried together is probably the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. They were together at the beginning and together at the end. May their souls forever be connected. To the family and friends, I am incredibly sorry for your loss and God bless you all.

Wonderful Service! I never seen a funeral where the mother & son is in one coffin. The funeral home did a fine job. My heart goes out to the family & friends of Lashunaqa Cooper & her son, Ji'Quel.
The Holy Spirit presence was so strong when this song came on, within seconds, it enveloped my body, up my legs and throughout. I don't typically get this when listening to Gospel music, so powerful! It made me cry. May their souls rest in Paradise with Jesus and all His Angels🙏🦋🍃💖!!

I don't usually sit and watch TH-cam often, but here lately, I have been seeing a lot of funerals on here. I ran across this one and OMG, I have never seen anything like this before a day in my entire life to see a mother and her baby in a casket together.That is so amazing!! That goes to show that this mom would never let her baby go. Even though it's showing that this funeral was 9, I'm sorry 10 years ago. I just want to send my prayers and condolences to the family and extended family. RIP.

This Service was very Moving and emotional to watch but the message from the pastor made me marinate and think about my family and how I feel we all should draw closer because you never know when it's showtime but the message most definitely moved me and it's making me think more of my children and grandchildren and parents how we need to pull together our closeness we once used to have

I lost my brother and cousin to drunk driving 33 years ago. The pain and agony is still unbearable at times. My entire heart goes out to this family ❤️. Some days are better than others. Continue to hold to God’s unchanging hands. He’s the only one who can carry you through.

Some murderer drinking and driving took the lives of this 21 year old mother and her son. Of course they guy driving drunk survived, and while he did get a jail sentence, it was way too short. He will get out in 5 to 7 years because of time served, while this mother and son are gone from this earth forever. If you kill someone while you are drinking and driving, I think the charge should be at least 2nd degree murder. A car is a deadly weapon when driven by a drunk person, or someone loaded on drugs. We must change the laws so these murders get life in jail if they take the lives of someone because they made the decision to drive impaired. I hope the family of this mother and child somehow find peace through their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. RIP sweet mother and child.

I stumbled across the this video and it truly broke my heart. May God continue to keep this family in his arms. Strengthen them when they need it. I lost my mom approximately 5 years ago, and it still hurts just like it was yesterday. Death is never anything easy to overcome but with prayer and faith you will be strengthen.

Trust me, I have been to one of these because my friend at the time Patty Bell, an African American, was a member of the Baptist Church in Elgin where I used to have an apartment just blocks from that church.

I was so moved at the beauty of the service, so shattered by the image of the loss, so hurt by those that marched through and didn't seem to acknowledge, so crushed by those that couldn't bear the pain and so hopeful that those two souls find eternal comfort. I happened pond tis by accident, but I was drawn to the service. It breaks my heart to see this young mom and her son snatched away so early.

Wow! this was very hard to watch! it's extremely heart breaking.
This broke me into a million pieces, I hope he watches this & never ever be able to sleep again or have any type of peace. He took this woman & her son away from their family and friends due to his stupid decisions. This is so sad , closing the casket is the hardest part, I pray the family has found some type of peace but the driver doesn’t deserve any type of peace at all
