- A 6-year-old South Carolina boy, who died after being shot while playing with friends during his elementary school's recess, has been laid to rest during a superhero-themed funeral. Tearful mourners wore capes and masks of characters little Jacob Hall held dear Wednesday as they gathered to say goodbye, weeping while a bouquet was placed atop the tiny casket. Little Jacob was also dressed as the caped crusader, as his devastated parent's referred to their son as "God's superhero." #InsideEdition

Rest in peace Jacob. With going to a funeral of a five year old within my family due to others ignorance, I understand the pain very well and this brings back memories of the terrible day. I am so proud of this family however to make his funeral a very special day as he had to live through his short life. I am not speaking for everyone here but I believe Jacob now due to this remarkable video of his funeral service that he is a hero to everyone whom had the opportunity to know this special little boy and a hero to many people around the world in heart. This is really sad but it also makes me really angry. An innocent child losing their life at the hands of another person is unforgivable.
