1966-1967 Chevelle Upper Dash Panel Installation Ep. 3

Episode 3 - Upper dash panel replacement for 1966-67 Chevrolet Chevelle (Malibu & Super Sport SS). It's not uncommon for the upper dash panel to be rotted out at the pinch weld in the the windshield channel (dash panel + cowl windshield channel panel).
In this series of how-to videos, I'll be walking through the process for fitting your factory dash housing with an aftermarket replacement upper dash panel, installing the factory dash panel brackets, and final install of the upper dash panel .

As much as those dash tops cost they should fit better than that. I bought one from AMD well before I needed it and just left it in the box. when i went to install it I ran into the same issues that you did along with a defectively installed down piece on the drivers side. when i contacted them they said I had it too long and wouldn't warrantee it even though it had never been installed or altered in any way. Yeah, I wish the fitment was better on all this replacement sheet metal, but some fabrication work seems to be par for course in order to get things to fit properly.

Ausleys Chevelle should have those dash mounting grommets

Ausley's is one of my preferred suppliers but I haven't been able to find the dash mounting hardware kit through them. If you have a link, I'd be happy to include it.

Thats the problem its pure junk if its not original or NOS Correct GM Assembly Line Parts Its gonna look horrible
