How can a lecture be so calming! I enjoy your style of communication; you pass the message in a way that assures the listeners that it will work and how it would work. THANK YOU, Dr. Cecile.

Wow 😵 this is the best video about how to conceptualize a paper. Not only does she break down the components and flow of the paper, she gives you some techniques on how to do it AND she goes into BEHAVIORAL THERAPY!!!
This should be talked more in highschool and undergrad because a lot of people struggle with writing!!
37:43 is when it just got real. I just thought it was just me being me but I'm glad you talked about it in such a calm professional manner and provided some solutions. You're an amazing woman for sharing thank you

I hope Cecile reads these comments this is such a wonderful presentation. I'm at Uni now trying to write my thesis and I have asked for help and nothing has come close to the insightful, evidence base, clear, concise step through that is in this video. It's has been really stressful of late with my writing and Cecile you have done what great teachers do and given me some fantastic tools to help order the chaos. You bloody ripper!!!!!! I hope all your days are blessed ones whatever that is for you.

This was a fantastic presentation, her voice was soothing and encouraging. I felt her confidence in her delivery which made me want to hear the whole presentation and look for others she has made. I have tried to listen to many others and I just leave after the first few minutes as they usually are very annoying, with the funky fast pace and visual aids, just overwhelming. Thank you Cecile.

This is EXACTLY what I needed right now. I've been FREAKING OUT over writing the project to apply for a masters. I have only a week to do it, because I've been hardcore procrastinating for months. Through this video I discovered that I lacked the technical resources to do it (the PPS&Q, for example. No one's ever taught me that flow of work and I've talked to many people who are in the academia asking for help). And also, it made me realize that the difficulties I'm going through are common to everyone, which eases my heart a little bit. I thought I was just not cut out for this type of work... I think I'm wrong. Thank you so much!! 💜

Thanks a lot for this video... This content was something that I was looking for. Especially the PPS+Q was very enlightening in this video. Because it is very easy to flow to another topic while you are writing your thesis. PPS+Q can help you to focus on your scope and not to dive into another area. Sometimes you need a high-level plan to keep yourself on track. Therefore, I found it very useful. Thanks again!!

    My confidence has increased.
Your calm and clear voice, real-life examples, and showing both the forest and the trees was awesome.
Question - where does the Thesis Statement fits in with the PPS? Should there not be a thesis statement within the PPS?
    Best, and God's blessings!

Changing the mind of a person equall to creating a new person. She therefore performing the creator god's task. My good wishes for Dr B to go on and on creating more and more creative people!

For the PPS&Q, start writing right away - get your thoughts down and then revise as you read the literature. If you have no idea where to start the PPS&Q, then read, read, read - you'll get ideas from reading.
