The past two weeks have been a whirlwind of productivity! I proudly wrapped up my Weasley sweater and a cozy Holiday Slipover. I added the finishing stitches to the Musselburgh hat. Not stopping there, I even cast on a new hood and, in the true spirit of momentum, have already finished it. Meanwhile, my blanket project is steadily blossoming.

Hi Kate, great to see you again.
As far as I can tell, a Slipover and a Vest are pretty much the same thing, just based on wherever the designer grew up and localised language.
As to your slipover, and you say you are disappointed with it. It seems to fit you very well, however I dislike such open arm holes on me, and maybe that is what is annoying you. Also, I think it is too pale for you with a white Tshirt - perhaps a coloured shirt underneath it will look better in your eyes.?
I am really liking the way that blanket is turning out. That seems to be such a better use for that yarn and it looks terrific.
The lace sweater - congratulations on making a swatch!!! and I am glad it helped you sort out the pattern before you started the main thing. The colour is very nice and I look forward to seeing the final item.

Hi! It's great to see you again, too! Thank you for the answer regarding a slipover and a vest. Good to know both are correct.
I'll take your advice and try to wear my slipover with a colored shirt, let's see if it will work better.
