Great video. Even if its 9% tax, its well worth it. I will be moving to Dubai this July from Australia. I completely agree that I felt highly inspired to do bigger things when visiting Dubai, its really about the lifestyle and mindset.

Basically a lot of these TH-camrs talk about servicing clients that are 7-8 figures (or at least try to give that impression!), but most of their viewers are probably digital nomads, small time online entrepreneurs and retirees earning in the 5-6 figure range. Dubai will still be 0% for the vast majority of those. (Though not always necessarily the best place - e.g. if you have passive income as a retiree.)

As a tax you should also include how much accounting will cost you. Everyone is just talking about single % but always forgets to mention how much this actually complicates things and what additional costs and time waste this introduces.

I registered for corporate tax a few weeks ago and I make LESS than $816k revenue per year. Do I still need to do anything else? Or just that registration process is enough?

    • @tuomaskiv

Let say i wanna move to Dubai and before i doe that, i set up a company in HongKong and i pay 0% coporate tax and then i decide to move to Dubai and become a resident. How on Earth would UAE government come to know what i all possess and how many companies i have somewhere else if i don’t tell them?
    Thanks in advance!

I don’t know but I wouldn’t recommend grying to evade tax illegally. Do you want to risk ending up in jail?
