I think someone should've probably told Qieen Maria Pia that she wasn't going to get a chance to add Princess Victoria of Wales ( eldest daughter of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra of the UK) to the family, given how possessive Alexandra was of her daughters, something she had ironically had in common with her mother in law, Queen Victoria.
The Bragança Royal Family has almost nothing left in their Jewelry vault. That is why you see the current Duchess of Bragança only with one tiara, and she uses the trellis choker sometimes as a small tiara. Third she uses a necklace as a Bandeau and there you have it, there are no more significant other big tiaras etc at her disposal.
And about the crown jewels stolen in the Netherlands, no news di far ? Doesanybody have phtos if such jewells ??? It is unbelievable the lack of security that made possible it happened !!!
Unfortunately our best Crown Jewels were stolen in 2015 from a exhibition in Nederland.... We Portuguese still waiting for many answers about the infamous case!!!!
