Just my take on basement wall surfaces- I like white 3/4” melaboard. The surface is super durable, no painting ever, and the board is strong enough that you can mount anything anywhere it would be best- no stud searching games or drywall anchors needed.
Well, 1st congrats to you and the family on getting the new home 🎉 🏡. I'm sorry to hear you got hurt. Paul, get well soon and at 💯%. Next time, get that big guy next to you to do all the heavy stuff 😂. Isn't that what strong friends are for 🤷😂😂. Thake care buddies 👍
A pully system to lift the kayaks up to the ceiling, out of the way. Yeah it's a bit of a pain to do, but gives you so much more space (for more Kayaks)!
Had the bicep surgery myself , but I had to fight with Workmans Comp for 6 months before they finally approved surgery and once they fixed it and it healed its been fine and able to do anything I want , good luck with the therapy and do what they say and you'll be fishing in no time.
The hell with pt. I had rotator cuff and torn bicep surgery. Luckly it was my right arm cause im a lefty but i was able to reel in with my right and this was good for therapy.
If possible, could you try to make the music about the same volume as your spoken content? About blew my PC speakers out when the music comes on. Just a thought and suggestion. My speakers and I, and my wife (who may or may not have been awakened by the loud music) thank you. (Did I mention my PC speakers are audiophile quality and include a sub woofer?) Congrats on the new house and work space. Sorry about your arm Paul. That surgery and follow up stuff didn't sound like a whole lot of fun. At least it wasn't your casting arm. ...Interesting fact. Last time we moved I stepped onto (into.. OK, through) a nightstand drawer. Again.. my wife wasn't real happy with me. ..but I got everything into the moving POD. She tried to mend the drawer. It doesn't look perfect, but it closes.... 😇
Man I feel for ya. I blew both biceps lifting an energy drink. It was the final straw. Along with a my peck, rotator cuff, and labrum. Hope you have a fast recovery but don’t rush it. I now have to have mine repaired because I rushed mine.
That was me. Yup you nailed it. Feels like a bad cramp/charlie horse in my arm withen a second or so when I have to do twisting motions using hand tools etc (hooray 1/4in impacts) and its affecting my deltoid too. Mine popped up at the shoulder end racing my daughter up a wall climb.
I’m a year ahead of you settling into a new space. For basement walls, I did 1/2” plywood for wall sheathing. It gives flexibility to hang stuff multiple spots. No need for noise reduction for me. I will be putting rubber flooring down, can find some used. For garage, I got shelving units off Marketplace rather than attaching something to the wall until I get my bearings. But it allowed me to get stuff up off the floor and out of the way for now. Lots of light, regardless of video needs. My 3-car garage has high ceilings, so I have 8 led strips 8’ long. Basement is similar sized also with 8 such lights. I love it, but thankful they have the color switching ability to keep it “warm” instead of garishly blue bright.
I am hope you get well soon I know what it is like to be down to just arm to just about everything I was driving a truck at the time and it was fun trying tie down your load and just driving and shifting gears
Awesome video bros. Congrats on the new house Paul. I was gonna say add the TV thats what I am gonna do at my next house, whenever the Army decides where I am moving to
It looks looks like you won't be pulling off (Pun intended) "the stranger" anytime soon. I have heard that popping sound twice: Once was my buddies labrum and twice was a tendon in my ankle. Not fun, hope you get better by spring.
Build her a she shed make some more room cause you need your walls for baits and lures so it looks like a bait and tackle shop every angler has one I.e. Greg Blanchard! lol 😂 !!! Tight lines get well soon you never realize how vulnerable you are when you lose the function of one of your arms especially going to the restroom when I was healing from my foot ulcer my father had to take me into the restroom and help me sit down in the toilet and get back up fun fun time! 😂😂😂😂
you talking about taking a real shower really is resonating right now. had a cyst removed in my back, still waiting to take a real shower the half sponge half lower body only sucks
Congrats on the house and hope you heal up soon my man. Now that thats out of the way...ive watching alot of lives and alot of different creators and not one single singing billy bass hanging on the wall. Just saying a lil disappointed 😂👊
Welp, we’re hanging there! Let us know what yall think, and if you have any ideas for us!

We'll see if there's room above the garage doors
@@paulglass7268Or forward of the doors? Could even be in one of the other bays.
@@Michdave700 good call!
Wow beautiful house congrats! Know your Fam will enjoy. Please take care of your arm.
Will do!
No matter how big your garage is. Youll still need atleast 1 shed in the backyard
Good luck with the recovery, Paul! #FreePaul #RightSideStrongSide
Thanks!

Done deal 👊🏼
With the PT keep a log book for the exercises you do and how much you do to keep accountable and to show the therapist what you have been doing.
👊🏼👊🏼
Glad that you'll mend soon enough. Team work makes the dream work next time.
🤝🏼
Crazy. I just pulled my bicep changing my tire. I never even knew that was a thing and now seems like everyone has pulled their bicep.

Get well soon Paul and please take it easy. 🙏 New place looks very nice and soon to be a fanciful fishing wonderland no doubt!
🤘🏼🤘🏼
Dang bro! Wish you a speedy recovery! Glad to see you in good spirits! I’m a big puss when I’m hurt or just sick lol!

Cool!
#1 idea right here, tell the wife and kids to get their own garage and then you can use all 3 bays for the feesh
Great idea! No way that could end a marriage 😂
Dang Paul, that's a lot considering what happened and trying to get back to normal. Take it slow don't rush it.
He has no idea how to do that lol. That’s how he got here in the first place 😂
