Real women's lives are affected by this every single day. What we want is for men to support women in their endeavours in a world which is male dominated and male oriented. Trying to redress the balance by having men declaring themselves women and then taking the places of women does NOTHING to redress that imbalance.
If, as you say, we should be focussing on the other problems the world is facing, that means you do not see this issue as a problem - for women or men. Shame on you. Clearly you have limited insight and cannot see the issue. Try asking the women in your life what they see as the issue, whether they have ever experienced it themselves, e.g. trying to get changed in the loo and a man who claims he is a woman, walks in. Have you ever experienced a woman - not a trans man, as you wouldn't notice her - walking into the gents and staring at you while you were having a pee? Start there.
The female athletes who are having their places taken from them because of this are some of the most visible to experience it. Changing rooms being declared unisex so any man can just walk in - the women have no privacy and can't get the men to leave - they have a right to be there, but the women do not have a right for them not to be there. And there is nothing we can do about it except to not compete. Why should we let men take over and stop us in this endeavour too, as well as taking the titles?

Even if you haven't read any of the data, how could anyone have two working brain cells and believe that taking drugs to stunt puberty is reversible? Who can possibly believe that if you stop taking puberty blockers at 16, 17, 18 years old, your body will just pick up where it left off? You have stunted the natural growth and are left with a compromised musculature, bone density, heart and lung size, underdeveloped genitalia, early onset menopause, etc.. Your body doesn't restart puberty. Puberty blockers don't delay puberty, they destroy it.

First, there is no necessity that the split of elected bodies should reflect the split of the general (electing) population along any particular dimension, such as sex (M/F). None. Referencing that statistical split is simply shaming behaviour in support of a particular agenda -- and the particular agenda item isn't even that the split be 'reflective of the situation in the general population', either. The agenda item is, essentially, subversion of public perceptions and, thereby, public support of the institutions themselves.
Second, the very same statistical split can easily be remedied -- and on a daily, even hourly, basis -- by having every member of the governing body self-identify themselves at the beginning of each sitting/session via open polling so that 'perfect balance' is always, or nearly always, maintained. If one person can change their gender identity overnight, why shouldn't another person be able to change their identification over lunch?

These trans advocates always talk about nice trans women who try to fit into society with minimum fuss and avoid offending real women, but they also need to factor in the great big men I’ve seen walking around dressed in tatty wigs and mini dresses who I certainly don’t want to share a public bathroom with. These trans advocates also try to infer that trans ‘women’ are all victims of nature and that a cruel society won’t let them just live their lives in peace. In reality the vast majority of them are unstable men with mental health issues, and now we are seeing them dominating women’s sports due to people like Peter Tatchell who believe that their rights are more important than women’s rights. This is an obscene diminishing of women and I am happy to see some strong women taking a stand against it, like the one on this panel. I’ve given up on the feminists, but have higher hopes of mothers whose daughters will be disadvantaged in so many ways because of this bizarre and dangerous trans ideology.

I am a woman (and a scientist) and I can clearly define what that is - a human born with XX chromosomes in each and every cell in my body, with all the biological expressions of these chromosomes. A biological male is born with XY chromosomes in every cell of his body. Regardless of which hormones he takes, which appendages he artificially grew on his chest, or which bits were chopped off between his legs - every cell in his body will remain XY and he will be a biological male until he dies.
