- Single-sex schools will be allowed to reject transgender applicants of the opposite biological sex, government guidelines are expected to say.
It would protect girls’ schools if they refused a place to a boy identifying as female and the same would apply for girls identifying as male wanting to join boys’ schools.
Two guests that joined Vanessa Feltz also clashed over the use of pronouns.
The Department for Education was ordered by Rishi Sunak to speed up long-awaited guidance on the subject. It has been working with the office of Kemi Badenoch, the equalities minister.

Whilst I agree with that statement, the vast majority of trans people are not pretending. Also many of the activists are not trans. If you talk to people who are truly trans, they often think the activists are stupid. At least this is my experience with my trans daughter in the U.K.

I recently joined a dance movement therapy group in London. Because of one person, a gay woman who on the very first day, told everyone else that my pronouns are "they" "them" with great arrogance, we were all asked about our pronouns. I declined to tell my pronouns, I am a man a biological man, therefore my pronouns are obvious. I left the group based on principles.

Exactly what I've been saying all along. By default, any one person will be referred to as either he or she. For example, if I see what appears to be a woman get hit by a car, I'll say "She just got hit by a car." If this woman identifies as non binary and prefers the pronoun "they", I would have no way of knowing unless she told me.
So "non binary" people are always being "misgendered" by default.
If the only way for people to use your preferred pronouns is for you to tell them, then you are complicating communication. Pronouns exist to facilitate communication, not hinder it.

I once signed up to a group for people with ADHD. It was supposedly a support group, I also have 2 children diagnosed so felt it may be a good resource and networking opportunity. I was asked for my pronouns as part of the introduction of myself (which had to be written in a message board) and I politely declined stating I used 'traditional' pronouns as a male. They gave me a warning, I held my ground, they then kicked me out of the group and banned me. I messaged them asking how was this 'supportive' and 'inclusive' the called me a 'petulant child' . True story

If a man asked me to call him Betty, I would. But if he asked me to address him by pronouns which denote him as female when he most definitely isn’t, I would refuse. There is fantasy, and then there is REALITY.

My 20 year old daughter believes I'm anti-trans because I don't believe transgender women should participate in competitive women's sports. In my experience most trans allies will admit that there are single sex spaces where they don't believe trans women should have access - it might be the obvious ones like sport or prisons. I support the LGBT community but I do not support a tiny percent of the population forcing their ideologies on us and changing the language. I'm happy to share the ladies room with trans women. I'm happy to call trans woman she/her and trans men he/him, BUT I'm not going to start using plurals where they don't belong and messing with my language. I will not tell or ask others my/their pronouns. If you dress and look like a man you're a he, if you dress and look like a female you're a she. Yeah. You're right. There is so much medical science that proves that transgender people are valid. Crazy how here are still people who deny it. Such as yourself. The thing I love is when people tell me to go see a doctor or therapist. Yeah. I did. That is a requirement. I had to have a mental evaluation and a hormonal evaluation before being allowed to medically transition. Then I had to have another mental evaluation before being allowed surgery. That one consisted of a therapist and a psychiatrist. Lets see.
In order to transition I had to speak to my primary care doctor. They referred me to a therapist and a doctor who specialized in gender affirming care. I had to meet with both of them. After all three gave written approval I was finally able to receive hormone therapy. It was a very long process. After all of that it is a coin toss on if my pharmacy will allow me to have my medication every month. This month they decided the answer would be no. Last month they said yes and next month? Who knows. We are not there yet. The imbalances that it creates not having my meds is very much not enjoyable. I would not wish that or any of my other struggles on anyone. It would have been nice to be born normal. instead I was born me. That is okay.

When I see a (pronoun preference) in an email from someone I IMMEDIATELY understand that I will interact with this person with the LEAST amount of time, with the LEAST amount of personal interaction, and in the most STERILE fashion. It's always about making the trans community feel safe & comfortable. My daughter has frequently felt unsafe & uncomfortable in school. My daughter doesn't believe that anyone can change gender, she doesn't buy into the pronouns nonsense either. However, she has been bullied into using opposite pronouns because of the aggressive tactics of the trans community & found no support from teachers. They also have forced my daughter to use nonsense pronouns for the 'comfort' of self indulgent, nonsense binary students. She has literally been subjugated & had her speach controlled against her will, her beliefs & Conon sense. She has been threatened & bullied by kids at school because she tried to stand up for her beliefs. She is at a mew school now but the same issues continue. What about the non trans kids feeling safe & comfortable?
It's about bullying people into submission. It has nothing to do with "comfort" or "safety". I highly suggest you look into Waldorf schools (although make sure they haven't been tainted by this, even the best places are being compromised).

The teachers are terrified of saying the wrong thing. Other kids treat them like celebrities and oooh and ahh over them. Give me a break

If they don't think they are female why are they attending an all girls school? We didn't even consider her for the job as these people always come with drama.

Nothing to do with sexual identity or orientation. This is gender identity. You cannot change your biological sex, it is impossible for humans. Transgender people suffer from body dysmorphia, so their gender identity does not match their biological sex. They have to socially transition, by adopting the correct pronouns, changing how they dress, perhaps changing their name, taking prescribed hormones, and maybe surgery if necessary, to match the opposite sex that they were born as.
Identity crises are nothing more than mental illnesses so of course it’s confusing. We are appeasing delusions. You only have to look at the person on the right to see it’s a mental illness.
No one calls a person directly with a pronoun. You use the name or say “you”.

Think about it this way, if a person YOU believe is harming their children with delusional beliefs is homeschooling, is that the best thing for those kids? There are crazy, violent, sadistic, manipulative parents. Schools are there for a reason. A good teacher will see the signs of distress and work to help the child. Even without the extreme examples, a home can never be a school in the sense of bonding with peers without the constant parental supervision, which is very much needed on the path towards maturity.
