Recover corrupted firmware PanelView Plus 2711PC - CF card!

Friday night one of my machines was restarted, and when it booted back up, the HMI was corrupt.
Normally a USB drive with firmware on it is what I need to recover these issues, but no luck. So Monday I learned how to recover the HMI another way.

what would cause an allen Bradley show a "the item its no longer available " im using a panelview plus 1000 and all the tags that i put in the program populates that fault and when you press on a push button shows "problem writing value 1 to the item" after this shows the tag from the plc

Hi guys, I have same problem with yours. My Question is I want to change Old Internal Compact Flash Card corrupted with new one where my new CF is have same spesification of ME Version with my old version. Will this metode solve my problem ?

I believe this method would permit you to do that, that's a good question. I don't know if the CF card will help a corrupted firmware, it's all worth a try.

I get a screen that says runtime error when I start my panelview plus 700. Can’t get past that screen. What do you recommend I do?

Not sure, sometimes you can plug in a keyboard and see if you can get into a menu. Then you can safe mode boot the thing up and see if anything functions.
Usually when I see that it needs the firmware flashed to something newer

Unfortunately my hmi 2711 dosen't have this external compact flash port ,i try to use usb storage flash but not succeed, my case is little different i have no operating system and 0F error

Yes this may be the reason why not found slot for external compact flash, so now what can I do , there is pci bus port and sd card slot
