This makes me appreciate sekiro's original balance even more. It's REALLY hard to make sekiro "harder" without turning it into a complete parry simulator that loses the magic of switching from offence to defence seamlessly.
Yes, i think FtSoA does this really well, long combos with little spaces inbetween where you can hit the boss back, JiDao also leaves some space for offense and is really hard so its not impossible id say.

Like i said i like it more when you have to find gaps while the boss does a combo and weave your attacks inbetween theirs. That makes the fight very fast, satisfying and more than just parry sim. A lot of the attacks you just have to dodge away from or avoid an area completely, and sometimes damage is coming from all over the screen. i think its ironic how the more pressure the boss puts in the player the easier it is to actually beat the boss, thats why genichiro is one of the easiest boss for me, that flurry attack helps building up posture so fast

Its all here. Sorry if this didnt make any sense i am crossfaded rn but also well done for almost mastering this fight. I understand u couldn’t perfectly deflect a boss you can only practice at the end of a gauntlet.

modders should consider about enemies tempo attack, like owl did the back move so the posture bar wont fill faster, modded enemies rn doesnt have tempo to rest their posture bar, they just like attack nonstop
Do you need 99 attackpower? i am currently trying this mod but i need over 5 minutes for a single boss phase. i do so little damage. i have 67 attack on my ng+3 save. should i try it on a different save with ng ?

i still have the problem that i do almost no damage. you can kill phases in a few seconds to a minute, i need like 10 minutes for just one phase. even the normal enemies take 30-50 hits/parries @@tdjgaming4491
you only have to do 1 ending so you can start with a new game, you wont be able to get the shura ending but the bosses will be much easier. always use buffs like the purple or red one so you deal damage. you also need to parry perfectly and sidestep attacks that create distance otherwise the posture goes back down too quickly.

took around 250 hours to complete all the events in hardcore mode for the first time but i jumped from ressurection to LMTSR so i had to learn a lot. the gauntlets took me about 4 days.

Didnt take that many attempts because the moves are mostly the same but with some new effects and animation cancels. It wasnt hard to learn but definitely hard to beat because of all the bullshit. Took me about 4 evenings total.

In the 3rd event you can do an extra event of the monks of the worshipping flames. after you have defeated the last purple worshipping flame monk at the end of the event you get the item.
My eyes hurt just watching this. Mod author sure loves fancy effects blocking the entire view. And lightning that can't be reflected? Is this even Sekiro anymore?
Last two phases are no joke the first 4 however are quite easy looking if the boss never stops attacking they never recover posture any skilled player will consecutive parry all 4 phases to death just like you did I absolutely would not wanna mess with the last few though
The first may look easy but ive had a lot of experience with LMTSR and other hard mods, the animation cancels and the splittime decision making are very difficult if you havent gotten a lot of experience. The last 2 are horrible yeah.
