This makes me appreciate sekiro's original balance even more. It's REALLY hard to make sekiro "harder" without turning it into a complete parry simulator that loses the magic of switching from offence to defence seamlessly.
Yes, i think FtSoA does this really well, long combos with little spaces inbetween where you can hit the boss back, JiDao also leaves some space for offense and is really hard so its not impossible id say.
@@tdjgaming4491 imo the mods are like 85-90% parry. the base game is much closer to 50/50 which i think creates the addicting back and forth. they're still amazing mods since it's sekiro's parry alone is so much fun

Like i said i like it more when you have to find gaps while the boss does a combo and weave your attacks inbetween theirs. That makes the fight very fast, satisfying and more than just parry sim. FtSoA does this well but LMTSR is horrible at this.

To me Sekiro is a game where every enemy move can be countered or interacted with in some way and gives you a usable tell and time to react. This mod does not do that. A lot of the attacks you just have to dodge away from or avoid an area completely, and sometimes damage is coming from all over the screen. You can tell, most of the time the excellent player in the video gets hit, it was from some quite unfair attack from the boss.

i think its ironic how the more pressure the boss puts in the player the easier it is to actually beat the boss, thats why genichiro is one of the easiest boss for me, that flurry attack helps building up posture so fast

modders should consider about enemies tempo attack, like owl did the back move so the posture bar wont fill faster, modded enemies rn doesnt have tempo to rest their posture bar, they just like attack nonstop

Last two phases are no joke the first 4 however are quite easy looking if the boss never stops attacking they never recover posture any skilled player will consecutive parry all 4 phases to death just like you did I absolutely would not wanna mess with the last few though
The first may look easy but ive had a lot of experience with LMTSR and other hard mods, the animation cancels and the splittime decision making are very difficult if you havent gotten a lot of experience. The last 2 are horrible yeah.
I got good at vanilla sekiro to the point of no hitting some of the hardest bosses. Then I discovered Ressurection and when I saw gameplay bits from it was very excited and now I'm good enough to no hit Isshin in Resurrection. But watching this I don't get the same excitement as I had when discovering resurrection. 7 health bars combos thats take a minute to finish and ungodly amount of special effects that considerably polute the screen... More power to you if you enjoy it which you clearly do but this is beyond excessive to be enjoyable for anyone but the smallest fraction of masochists and people who really need to touch grass
Fully agree, it didnt take that long for me to beat this boss because i have a lot of experience with this mod but ive def found a lot of better mods that are also challenging in a good way. I mainly beat this boss because i like to finish mods that i started. Ive also started making my own mod and i hope that one is a lot better than this garbage.
I have question about peerying in sekrio When enemy attack 1 2 3 3 blows we have to click block button 3 times like enemy attack 1 2 3 to perfect perry 3 fast attacks or just single time pressing block(L1)????

yeah owl is horrible to beat, he has insane posture recovery and its really hard to hit him. if you want any tips: shuriken to keep his posture up when he jumps away and fire feathers are really strong to get his health down. i have a video on him: inner bosses at their prime.

best overhaul is res but i enjoy boss mods more and res is a bit too easy, my favorite boss mods are ying wu, inked sakura and mortal isshin.
