@@yaricheg.... a epic overthe top moment id cringy to you but not the rest of the entire game where you deflect skyscraper sword and duel magic beings?
This boss is incredibly ANNOYING to learn since he inherits the Ichimonji and its double counterpart from you, meaning that no matter if you get hit, block, perfectly deflect or even dodge his Ichimonji, he would regenerate MASSIVE posture bar just like how you would, which in combination of him perfectly deflecting most of your normal attacks, makes fighting him with no skills or prosthetics almost unfair. With that being said, great fight ONGBAL!!!
Yet his health seems low. Posture was never broken and the health bar going to zero each time is what won the fight which is very unusual for bosses in this game.
@@pcdeltalink036 Which makes sense, as Sekiro himself has very low health compared to bosses, and can very easily recover his own posture through various means, even just standing still. Meanwhile, bosses keep their posture for a long time and have high health, yet don't easily recover either.
Thanks for this comment, I was wondering why Ongbal was mostly dodging and using the mist raven. I'm guessing it's to damage as opposed to posture build up
@@pcdeltalink036 If the low health is referring to the boss, I would argue that this boss has similar HP to other humanoid bosses in this game. It has an HP bar similar to Owl Father. This is coming from my personal experience with this mod.
@@tiredmann With the modded moveset of Ashina Cross ONGBAL was using, it deals significant HP damage and almost guarantees to hit if the original “cross” part of the attack manages to hit the boss’s body. Mist raven-ing to this boss’s back, followed by this modded Ashina Cross, would guarantee the latter to hit, due to enemy AI. This skill combo is the only thing that makes this fight even remotely fair… on top of looking quite stylish
Lore wise, it would be great alternative ending. Sekiro falling down, fighting his inner demon. Like a true ending, he stopped the curse, stopped Ishin, but he was about to turn into that flame demon, so you should do a last fight, killing the “inmortal curse” so nobody could get it.
Extremely cool idea. I'm almost surprised this hasn't been modded earlier (although it might be a very difficult thing to do for technical reasons, I wouldn't know). And, _that deathblow._
While I'm not into modding and only seeing people doing it. It's not that hard in the technical stuff per se. (Though it's still take times) But there's a lot to code in the term of behavior, damage, attack, hitbox, attack hitbox so parry could work, and balancing. And lastly to make sure the attack pattern isn't that predictable
Sekiro really is peak hack and slash. Nothing quite captures the satisfaction in ALL the senses. I look forward to From Software exploring this style in the future.
"After years of death, blood and madness, the kid, rescued by a owl, trained by a butterfly, killed by a imortal and take it by evil, face what he has become"
Just imagine Sekiro 2 if shura ending was the canon one and koro somehow manged to survive against the wolf and after several years koro started his journey to stop this demon from destroying japan as the final boss just like in this video
People are talking lots about the final deathblow, which was incredible for sure, but the tonal shift once third phase begins is SO IMPECCABLE. The fact that Inner Shura was burning even after the second deathblow was enough to set the stage for him to start taking this seriously. With Ongbal anticipating his next move, he applies Divine Confetti as Inner Shura whips the Tanto across his neck, solemnly muttering of that which he drew and manifested his power, but also that which could threaten his visage: "...the Mortal Blade..." Without hesitation, Inner Shura lunges for Ongbal with a Nightjar Slash. Ongbal reacts, activating his Mist Raven to put distance between them for a brutal Ashina Cross combo for massive damage! But, something isn't right... he realizes Inner Shura followed through with the Nightjar technique, performing a reversal to close the gap once more. Ongbal performs the combat art, but... Inner Shura dodges it, CASUALLY, performing a devastating High Monk assault, putting Ongbal on the defensive... I could go on but GOSH its SO GOOD. Great video Ongbal.
if they come out with a dlc for sekiro (ik its already too long sekiro to have a dlc now, but...) this should've been the dlc last boss following the main game's path to shura as it's dlc path but changing pathways throughout (every boss is mostly the same but also giving them an inner version (hence maybe calling it "Sekiro: Inner Shadow... because y'know everyone's gonna get their own inner version)) the dlc from the used pathways of the base game to the unused path of the base game. maybe even leading one of the pathways of the player to go down to the "Ashina" mountain base and maybe even to one of the cities/towns surrounding the castle mountain. But needing to be forcibly transporting the player to the moment when deciding to join the owl father or fight him (we choose to side with him leading to the emma/isshin fight(but giving both of them an inner version). After that and killing Owl Father like in the shura ending. We head down to a unused pathways from the dlc and then leading to the white flowerbed arena where we fight the final boss of the base game "*non* shura path" but before that, the player will stumble a path with the Inner version of Owl Father but having a mechanically harder version of him and bump up the version "inner" as whatever you guys wanna call it (I can't think of anything rn). After that, the player actually does end up in the White flowerbed arena this time and fighting the final boss with "dlc inner" version of both Genichiro and Isshin. After defeating both of them, the player has a cutscene where the player is about to do any of the 3 endings but being stopped and transported back to the city/town but this time its burning and the population is in chaos. (maybe in this section, the devs can add completely new stuff like previous shuras as boss fights and having them from Japanese history fighters before the samurais, having the different sections of the city/town location as areas where Ancient warrior's Shuras wrecked havoc before. Eventually or Hours later into the dlc we fight the final boss as the Sekiro as Shura (maybe with some creative changes if the devs wants it). Ending is up to the devs. Oh and the DLC Access point would be where we decide whether to side or go against Father Owl. I wrote this while I was High asf so mb if this shi dont make any sense.
