Cathay Boeing 747-8 teams: Shanghai to Hong Kong

Hello everyone and how do you do?
This morning was lovely and I was working with two professional pilots one of who was under training to upgrade to First Officer on B747 from Second officer. Lawrence is an extremely talented operator and is handling the aircraft with ease. Chris was our safety pilot and played his role very well too. We arrived at the aircraft about half an hour early before our official reporting time as the traffic from the hotel was very light - so I did a quick video to show you once again the level of diversity in Cathay. We are all working together very well indeed.

it's good to see you guys from Southern Africa flying this 747 together. Pilot Obet, may you please talk about when you take down the landing gear and when you retract it. As in how far from the airport or at what altitudes you retract or extend the landing gear. Also, if you may kindly do a walk through with us whilst checking the outside of the jet. Thank you. This channel is unique because of the really cool interviews. Other pilots who have YT channels don't have interviews like that. I guess Cathay has the bravest pilots! Either that or everybody is afraid of Captain Obet. Even Tom. How is Tom btw?
