Thank you, David, for the very honest review. I have been thinking about Samsung, again. My Motorola Moto G Power will end security updates in April, so I am starting to look at daily drivers. Since Samsung will launch the Galaxy S22 series in early February, I can wait to see what is coming on the horizon. I do like that the FE has Android 12 onboard and Samsung will commit to three OS updates, and four years of security updates. At least, I didn't see any snow in the 'hood. Love the bloopers. You are very fortunate to have great eateries close by. Take Care. Stay Warm.
I purchased a S21 FE directly from Samsung in Feb 2022. The Pixel 6 had far too many bugs and was unstable in my opinion. I needed a new phone due to a cracked screen on my current S9+. Samsung sweetened the deal by giving me $150 for my old phone, with a cracked screen, and threw in a pair of Buds 2 ($150 value). The 256GB S21 FE has 8 GB of RAM, the same dependable Snapdragon processor, and Android 12 right out of the box. That means I'll be able to see Android 15 on this model unlike the original S21. This might not be the BEST phone but it is one of the better phones available today and the price is perfect.

11 hours of battery usage is still good for a mid ranged phone and the average consumer. They'd be able to make it from morning to evening with light difficulty
24 fps does NOTHING to reduce quality (in fact on some cameras the lower frame rates have higher data rates as in more data per frame so its actually BETTER quality). The frame rate is just a matter of smoothness. And you can't see 60fps in a 24fps video. Google how that works if you're confused but bottom line: if I shot in 60 or 30 and put it in this video which is a 24fps video it would all still look like 24 fps. I would either have to shoot the entire video in 60 AND upload it in 60fps (which would just look weirdly smooth for no reason: the soap opera effect) or I would shoot in 60 on the phone and slow it down to 24 fps to give a 2.5x slow mo effect which I just didn't need. That's the only reason you would shoot in 60fps on the phone.
@@TheUnlockr who's talking about 60 fps? Wow I can't believe you still have no idea regarding this matter considering how awesome all the other cinematography aspects that you presented. Anyway it's your video, your view count, your income. If you don't want my 2 cents, I'll keep it for myself.
This is a hard pass for me. I'm going to get the a52s 5g 8/256 GB model instead. Barring the wireless charging, the a52s 5g has expandable memory, IP67, same 120Hz FHD+ screen, bigger main camera and it comes in a full black colour.
Yeah I agree. If they had stuck maybe an SD card and a headphone jack in this phone I'd be really tempted to get it as it would be an s21 with the options I want but I don't see any reason to buy this phone

Thank you!
S20 FE is heavier & fatter, uses Gorilla Glass 3 & gets only upto Android 13. Hence cheaper.
S21FE gets upto Android 16 and has Gorilla Glass Victus
Do u always use your phone 120 hz or just 60 hz? I use my phone on 120hz and realized that my battery is draining fast
11 hours of battery usage is still good for a mid ranged phone and the average consumer. They'd be able to make it from morning to evening with light difficulty
Midrange?
@@atlasknox7514 S21 Fe is a midrange phone, yeah?
Picked one up with case and charger for $410.... let's see
One drawbacks clear. It has lousy shake reduction for selfie cam.
Awesome review btw
Thank you!
Is the s22 better ?
Great video!! what camera do you use to do your vlogs?
I use the phone (where the text is on the screen saying as much, of course) and I use a Sony A7S3 and a DJI Action 2
@@TheUnlockr ahh thanks for the reply, yes I thought it must be the A7S3 such great image quality in your videos!
I love how this phone has flat edges
Still the best tech review guy. I don't even know anymore if I'm up for the review or the historical trivias. That's how good this guy is.✨
Why is the front camera video so shaky
You ruined the video samples' quality by converting them to 24 fps. Should have been an obvious mistake but apparently it wasn't to you.
Thanks for watching anyway!
Yeah I agree. If they had stuck maybe an SD card and a headphone jack in this phone I'd be really tempted to get it as it would be an s21 with the options I want but I don't see any reason to buy this phone
@@TheUnlockr don't get me wrong, I love your videos. It's a great travel vlog that happens to be a tech review. Very, very refreshing.
@@JTManuel and did you get it? How is it and what phone fix you had previously
@@TheInchii yup, I got it; the 8/256 GB configuration. Battery life is excellent. It lasts me a 12 hour hospital shift with still 60% battery life left. Gaming is no problem, I'm using it at normal HD settings without noticeable lag.
Samsung is always durable and good 👍 👌
I have to say, I personally like my S21FE. The screen is amazing. The camera is good to go. I don't play any games at all, so the battery life is no issue for me. I run mines on power saving mode most of the time.
What if I can get this for £450 now?
i love your channel. Please post your videos in 4k60 fps
y u not use 4k 60fps?
I have never really got the FE series, it just feels like a cash grab considering where the regular S21 series is price wise and the S22 around the corner.
