Yeah, I don't get how a Maverick XLT hybrid gets close to $35,000. Hybrid is the base engine, no AWD, and Ben's example didn't seem to have a lot of options.

The only reason 35 grand sounds "affordable" is because most other new cars are being priced way above what they are actually worth. Im not paying 35 grand for a 25 grand vehicle. Just won't happen. However, once again, because we have people in our society that will overpay ,this silliness continues! Smh....

I love the standard Navy Pier interior color. Blue is my favorite color in general and I'm so sick of a drab black or gray interior. I noticed the price has jumped up thousands of dollars since the Maverick came out, which is disappointing. A modestly equipped XLT Hybrid with an optional spare tire, tow hitch, and a bed liner is now over $30k. That's about $4,000 more than when the Maverick first came out. Yikes.

Blackout package interior looks more plain than my XLT's. The white door and dash panels and orange accents give it a bit of color. Also don't like the all black wheels. Unless you keep the tires constantly shined, the blacked out wheels make the tires look grey. With the Charcoal wheels you don't get that effect.

22 Hybrid XLT with Lux package with 33,000km and my lifetime average is 6.1 litres per 100km. In the beginning I drove in eco mode and tried to stay in the blue as much as possible. My average got as low as 4.6 litres per 100km over the course of the first 8 or 9 tanks. Then I just stopped caring about it. I’ve had a couple issues with fuel door not opening and exhaust temperatures that they repaired under warranty. Gets me to work and brings my groceries home. I do wish that there was a rear window defrost option. It was 34K plus taxes and fees.

In a practical sense unless u need it for work or are hauling heavy shit u don't need those 70,000 trucks. Camry is a great car and costs around 30k hybrid version under 40k

Setup for longevity and fuel economy rather than performance. I own one, up until about 50 mph, it has the most effortless acceleration of any mainstream vehicle I've driven. You breath on the gas and you're at 30 mph before you know it.
It doesn't do as well at 70-80. It's not bad, but it's not as punchy or effortless. For round town city driving which I do 95% of the time, it's great.

Looks good in person, love our XLT with the orange accents and area 51 color.

Who uses a keyed ignition anymore? Come on Ford, stop with the nickel and dime stuff. Maybe cut Jim Farley's $20 million dollar salary.

Not sure why we are seeing reviews on a vehicle that is the same as the orginal 2022 xlt, no changes....just a waste of time reviewing....😂😂

Wasn't this truck was supposed to be $23000.?

It’s not a truck. It’s a car with a bed. Like Subaru brat. It has no towing or hauling capability. If it was $20-23k and $25-$27 in awd. Anything over that is just too much. And with dealership markup it’s junk.

It's one of the most reliable, fuel efficient, fun to drive, and best looking trucks on sale, with a good warranty. Hardly junk just because it can't tow 10,000 lbs. It's the truck most people actually need.
