In a nutshell, the infrastructure is not ready enough leading to all the problems. This is the root.
Riders dont like cars on the roads for obvious reasons.
Car drivers hate to see cyclists for obvious reasons.
On paper, in theory, car drivers should just steer clear of cyclists. But reality is all that matters. After office hours, many sg drivers drive like they are a bit mad. Rushing to go somewhere. This mental state is what can lead to accidents as they tend to overtake cyclists. Doing so is called overtaking which even driving schools say should be avoided where possible to avoid giving chance to accidents. Imagine every car and bus over take every cyclist. How many overtaking?
    Riders hate cars.
    Cars hate riders.
    Friction lead to conflicts.
Root : the system and infrastructure is not as good as it should be. Ebikes are forced on to the roads in a basic sense. Car drivers are not fully aware of the rules subjected to the ebikers. Ebikes approved do not have signal lights as mandatory requirement. Ebikes are limited to 25km/h. This HUGE SPEED MISMATCH leads to problems base just on commonsense. The perception is slow is safe is not really true on the roads but we need to qualify the word safe. Imagine 25km/h is deemed for safety, then all motocycles should also be limited to it and cars too then, i would agree this is safe for ebikers. See my point. Something is wrong. My friend dont get it because he says he is chaufuered to work in his office building painted in ivory.🫣👀🏳️🤣🤭
