I wish they'd give names like that to male characters. Female characters get feminine names, and that irritates me. I want a boy apprentice named Flowerpaw, or a tom-cat warrior named Nightflower.

If they’re making another ‘medicine cat who might have important visions that are actually from an evil spirit’ I want Moonpaw to listen to this evil spirit, and do whatever it says. Then when she eventually finds out that they’re evil, I want her to continue following them anyway. Make her evil, and make her enjoy being evil! She just seems like a character that looks innocent and sweet but is actually an evil gremlin. Ontop of that, what would be cool is if originally her leader makes her name Moonlight, but then she changes it to Moonshade instead, both a darker turn and if Mapleshade is her dark forest mentor, in honour on her.
Also, this book/arc seems to have a common theme of Visions. Moonpaw possibly having visions, Leafstar loosing her vision. Idk if this was intentional or not, but the two main points (aside from the elders) are about visions. To have a wild guess at it, it seems like Moonpaw having ‘visions’ but them actually being from the dark forest, and Leafstar loosing her vision, could be symbolising Starclan is leaving them? This ties in with the Moonpool being destroyed, which then ties in with the elders.

I actually really hope they don't move. In New Prophecy, they treat the lake territories as if it is completely untouchable by Twolegs, and in the in-world Warriors history, they have spent like 10 times less time in the new territory than the old one, and I find that kind of unrealistic.

Honestly? The lake territories has been the longest appearing territory in the books. I could completely understand a change of scenery, I actually REALLY want a new landscape. It'd allow the writers to go free range with creativity. There could be a long lost clan there? Beautiful scenery, waterfalls and even a meadow. They could have something called a mooncavern that's this ancient, untouched cavern that leads down past a waterfall into a spiralling cavern with a moonstone submerged by a pool at the bottom. There could be larger predators, more chance cats can actually get killed off more easily. Like Sharptooth or even bears. I'm honestly just thinking about all the possibilities. Imo, I'm bored of the lake territories - I want the writers to go all out and craft something new and exciting once more. I know many people won't feel the same way, but it's been so long since we've had a new setting. 😫
Honestly, I really hope that the sinister voice Moonpaw hears is Scourge. It would be a more interesting twist on the evil spirit idea, if the evil spirit is a cat unrelated to starclan or the dark forest. Besides, they seem to heavily focus on starclan changing it's place of dwelling, so there could be some plot about them struggling to do it, because there's a rouge hell blocking their way. It would be nice having a plot where an evil cat is actually helpful and it would actually make Moonpaw crucial to solving the problem, instead of partially causing it, while still being difficult for her to navigate. Furthermore, if Moonpaw will in fact, be the daughter of Nightheart and Sunbeam, that would mean that she's related to Scourge through the Firestar line. Another more interesting option would be Moonpaw having a connection to a second dead dark forest cat. We've seen Mampleshade manipulate cats before and I really don't want them to just mush Crookedstar and Shadowsight together, it would be unoriginal and boring.
Okay, so we have Squirrelstar, Tigerstar and Harestar, with the possibility of Hawkstar... Frostpaw, you gotta pick a RiverClan leader with an animal prefix!

And old friend whose adventures we’ve been following since the very first warriors arc… it’ll likely be a dead cat and hopefully not Firestar because that would be way to boring
They could potentially dig up smudge or princess? I feel like smudge is the most plausible out of the two since he recived dreams about Skyclan in Firestar's Quest? But Smudge must be pretty old at this point if he's even alive

I thought they were going there with Nightheart in the first book of the current arc, he had ideas that sounded almost like cat democracy and it would have been interesting to see him ascend to leadership very young somehow (like Firestar) then struggle/fail at it, maybe ending up leading a small splinter group. Have clans split, have clans fight like in the first arc, anything not cookiecutter! Even if they go through with a territory change, thats STILL reheating old ideas! I must admit I liked the second arc BECAUSE it was a radical change, but second arc.2 wont have the same oomph. Not to mention they lived in the forest for GENERATIONS, yet this time around there are still cats alive who were born in the old forest

Frostpaw and Jayfeather were running around dealing with other cat’s bullsh!t constantly, something tree should be doing for skyclan but he just sits around all the time and nobody has a problem with it. They made him kind of useful recently, but that doesn’t make up for how neglectful he’s been. If the authors were gonna make a new role, tree was not the way to do it.

I would love an Alderheart apprentice to make him relevant again (he was one of my favorites) but I also really don't want Moonpaw to be a medicine cat. The last time we got a warrior with ambitions that had constant visions was Firestar iirc and he didn't even have a voice in his head. It would be really interesting and new if she was a warrior apprentice imo

It might be mapleshade. She’s the only dark forest leader who’s still alive, and losing her chance to wreak havoc on the clans with ashfur’s downfall might’ve been her final straw.
I think it would be so cool if the two POV's changed every book. Keep Moonpaw throughout the arc but have the other one's change! I am really glad that we are at least skipping 6-8 moons between arcs. I hated that there was barely any passage between TBC and ASC. Also some people seemed confused by this- Tawnypelt IS the elder going on the quest and is the teased about "old friend" we've known since arc 1 :)
What if Moonpaw is a kit found during Ivypool's Heart? Recent arcs have been ending and picking up in almost the exact same times so, unless there's a descent time skip between arcs, it would be a good explanation as to where she came from. As much as i desperately want her to come from WindClan or RiverClan (i would like an arc that fully lets the other not ThunderClans shine). The blurb mentions finding a place full of strange creatures, which could give her character some interesting quirks. This is also a book that's putting focus on Ivypool's grief over Bris. Her healing could start by learning to care for this strange mystery kit.
I like the idea of old characters coming back, and Squirrelstart managing adventures by herself and other admired characters like Tawnypelt. With enough freshness thanks to Moonpaw and the other three you mentioned. Moonlight would be such a cool name, even tho they are really obssesed with fake visions. But let's see if they work something nice around it!

i would really hate if they had to move again and displace a bunch of rogues like the settlers did, especially since there is unlikely to be any questioning of starclan going back on their word or the morality of taking other people’s land
It bugs me that everytime starclan moves cats they then go back on their choice with a new untouched territory that they could have led them to from the start
I’m hoping moonpaw is a windclan cat who at first wants to become a medicine cat, but chooses a different path. this different path could be to lead windclan (crowfeather could die as a final send off since he’s been around for way more than half of the arcs) she could also be instead a kick-butt type kitty who won’t let any cat stand in her way. I also am theorizing that since feathertail is gone, tawnypelt might try and fetch another cat for this mission to move the clans (maybe brightheart or any of the old clan cats, specifically old Riverclan cats since Riverclan might be difficult to move)
I think something they could do to spice up moon paw, is make her embrace the voices, and stay in medicine cat. Like her being unsure in the beginning, but slowly growing to trust these sinister voices. While we have had some protagonists that do go to the dark forest, the first to do so as trainees, we haven’t seen one, truly ally themselves with the dark forest, or go to the dark forest at all. And one dark forest apprentice type we haven’t gotten yet is a dark medicine apprentice. so it would be really interesting if MP became an antagonist and a POV character at the same time.
I hope this is the last arc in the series.. let's face it, it probably won't be, but we can still hope. Yes, the series has brought us wonderful characters, great stories, and a *dynasty* of a community, but I believe it is about time the series itself should be put to rest. In my opinion, the stories these days feel less heartfelt, and just don't give the same.. vibe? The Warriors series has had a great run, but c'mon Erins, at this point, you're just doing this to shovel in as much money as possible. PLEASE👏GIVE👏THOSE👏CATS👏A👏BLOODY👏BREAK👏

I don’t read the books anymore and haven’t in years. I just loosely follow news, but the writers are recycling ideas to force this series to keep going. Warriors really has no reason to exist other than profit. They’ve got no new stories to tell.
Hey! I think I might have a theory! So I think maybe Wasp will be the new river clan leader! They made such a big deal of him leaving and how he believed in Riversrar and him wanting to be in riverclan, and I can't think of a reason other than wanting to introduce the character, because he basically just came to the clan territory than left without any major character development sooo that's my guess
i love making theories without any information the clans could go to a territory that’s in a place in mountains, like the tribe. a place next to the mountains would probably a sort of moorland or plains that windclan would live in. next to it, east, could be thunderclan’s forest. north of thunderclan could be shadowclan’s pine forest, and west of shadowclan could be riverclan’s territory, fading quickly from a pine forest to a normal forest to a rivery plains. skyclan could be northwest of riverclan in a lush plains territory where there could be a waterfall that pours into a lake that flows down into riverclan territory. between riverclan’s,thunderclan’s,windclan’s, and shadowclan’s territory could be the gathering clearing, a clearing with a large rock at the north edge of the clearing, the rock has smaller rocks and pebbles around it, which the deputies could sit on. the moonpool’s replacement would be the _mooncrystal_. a large, ~5 fox lengths tall, ~3 fox lengths wide amethyst crystal.
Why are people saying she is like Moonwatcher? Like maybe she is- but reminder, that Tui.t sutherland was once apart of the Erin’s team, so I don’t see wronging in the erin’s having some inspiration in another book their TEAMMEMBER wrote.
I really, really don't want Moonpaw to be their daughter at ALL! I hope there is a couple that doesn't have kits in this series and is just happy being together without children and I hope it's Nightheart and Sunbeam honestly. It would be nice for a change. Honestly, I'm kinda hoping it's Moon from the sisters and she decided to join one of the Clans. It would be nice for the change. Or one of the cats from the park that decided to join them or a new kittypet that left her life to join one of the Clans, tbh anything else than Nightbeam's kit would be welcomed by me.
I agree with this. I still think it would've been a better story if Nightheart only pretended to be in love with Sunbeam to leave ThunderClan (and told her, of course), but I'll take what I can get, I guess. We need a couple that just doesn't want kits. A background couple's kit would be cool. Then we would get to see some personality from cats who are literally just cardboard cutouts right now.
Even though it's unlikely, I'd like it if she was from Windclan since we've never had a main series POV from a Windclan cat yet. And I want her to be a Warrior instead of a medicine cat but still be close to Whistlepaw or even Crowfeather.
I actually like the idea of all the original prophecy cats from TNP getting back together and convincing the Clans they need to leave again. It would be a nice callback and end to their arcs, or lives. I think at least one of them will die, and it's most likely Crowfeather. I don't have a reason, just a feeling similar to that of the one I got while reading A Light in the Mist (I guessed Graystripe was going to die, and low and behold...). I might just be a victim of nostalgia, but having characters that I know and love return as protagonists years after I first read about them makes me feel nice. I do wish Tawnypelt would just retire, though. She's almost 12 years old at this point, and after everything she's gone through she needs some rest lol
I think I'm not the only one who thinks that Moonpaw seems to be very similar to Moonwatcher from Wings of Fire? Both have: -Moon in their name -Voices in their heads (+ which become sinister) -Visions I know this is just a blurb, but I still can't unsee the similarities.
The Moonpool being destroyed doesn't necessarily mean the Clans will have to move. It can also mean they'll have to learn to live without ther ancestors' guidance.
I wrote an au a year ago with my friends where our custom clans are pushed out of the their forest because of twoleg destruction and they meet ThunderClan, WindClan, SkyClan, ShadowClan, and RiverClan on the way to their new forest, in which the 5 of the canon clans had to join the journey because they shared twoleg descrution. No idea this was going to happen
Dang ok. I said on another video that I could see them moving the clans again because of twolegs poisoning the land somehow, except what I said was worse and darker, that not only do the twolegs poison the land, but the prey get poisoned as well causing clans to get ill and fall apart as cats die cause of the poison. To the point that they have to find a way to save the clans as numbers dwindle and cats begin to die. So they would have to join into one clan or even two in the end.
Im like almost done with the starless clan just when Star comes out I’ll sure be excited for this new arc. Moonpaw reminds of Shadowsight suddenly lol..

I also would like if Moonpaw was alderhearts apprentice it would ne cute to see how alderheart and jayfeather function with a new apprentice. The old friend might be tawnypelt or brambleclaw or someone like that.
I don't like the idea of a territory change. The old territories were there for many cat generations. There are still cats alive on the lake that were adults when they were at the lake. What we need is a timeskip of some sort.

I do love WC, but they are using like 4 major plot points that have been used… 1. Starclan being threatened AGAIN 2. Skyclan’s territory getting threatened AGAIN 3. An elder going on yet ANOTHER quest 4. ANOTHER young apprentice with a voice in their head. And, again, I love the series and it’s also about the characters, and all of the new relationships and stuff, but the whole plot is based off of things we have seen either at least once, or for some MANY times…
My predictions from this arc : - Moonpaw is Nightheart and Sunbeam's kit and her warrior name will be Moonbeam or Moonheart (unless she has siblings so she gets named after one of her siblings), also i think Moonpaw's voice in her head is Mapleshade, the current Riverclan leader (i forgot his name), or a dead Berryheart. - the cats will probably move into another territory according to the blurb and the arc title and i think it's a good idea since it's so boring reading about the same territory for 7-8 arcs. - Tawnypelt will travel with Crowfeather, Brambleclaw, Stormfur and Leafstar (Squirrelstar won't be able to travel since she is now a clan leader and Ivypool will be on that quest from her super edditions). - Moonpaw will be a medicine cat and i hope the writers will make her villain because we only got sweet or good medicine cats and we never got evil medicine cats. - i see Moonpaw as gray-purple she-cat with dark blue eyes. - Moonpaw won't get a mate or have kits since we also got medicine cats wanting a mate, or make her Lesbian (like Mothwing) but it will only be confirmed on separated websites by the writers since if we got a LGBTQIA cat then the books would get banned in different countries and i want every country to be happy with Warriors

So I know this video is two weeks old, but I had a thought. What if the voice in Moonpaw’s head is Bristlefrost? Maybe the realm where bristlefrost is can try to help bring Starclan back?
Echoing Stories is what the arc should be called because all the arcs they do is simply echoes and mirrors of old arcs. Seriously though the last two arcs have had apprentices that hear voices or see visions that are ominous and turn sinister. They need to do something else. Also I'm not sure I see the need for a new setting. Yes, the current setting is boring but would changing it really help? It didn't do much before so I can't see it doing much now. Maybe think of something intresting and new instead of reusing the EXACT same story and character. Don't get me wrong it's always been lazy writting but at least they'd try to do something a little different. Like arc 2 was travelling, the next two arcs were about brand new characters and one was a prequel, the next arcs also had new characters and did some travelling and minor conflicts with a major battle. But, the last three have literally been copy and paste. They need to do something drastic, maybe just burn the entire forest with a fire and kill 90% of the characters that's what they did with novellas. Bluestar's Prophecy literally killed most the clan with disease to explain missing characters in the first arc. It was lazy but maybe it's a needed reset. Unless they make the new home in the middle of a city I fail to see how it will result in anything new
i think dawn of the clans was meant to basically be that - "a soft reboot". they actually planned to have all future arcs proceed from the dawn of the clans timeline but dawn of the clans sold so poorly they almost stopped writing warriors books all together...so while i agree with you, i can see why they're not doing that.
it’s getting so old, I understand that people like sad traumatized child prophets but at least make it interesting by having them be a rogue so the Clan cats don’t believe them
@@deweyr_fisher I don't think that would help at all. The children are already doubted anyway because eventually it's revealed they were manipulated and there has to be the distrust act. I think its be worst of we had yet another plot of an outsider not being trusted for having visions. Unless it was the final plot of the series and the rouge acted as guide away from Starclan because the clans have nowhere to go anymore but human society so the rouge has to help them acclimate. That would be the only realm it's intresting. The other issue is that they just throw their old protagonists away. Aside from like Bramble and Squirrel who are instated into everything to the point it's annoying the other characters are just shafted. Like Shadowsight' s life just kinda sucks and he's forced to accept Starclan quite literally hates him (they don't say that but by not allowing him to have a connection to Starclan it's basically giving that message, I know they gave a a half hearted reason but I don't buy it). Violet just became Rootspring's mom and nothing else. Rootspring just became nothing until he's needed for plot convinevece. I know Warriors sucks at character development but instead of making placeholders maybe focus on making what you currently have better. Why make stories and cats that are mirrors of Shadow, Root, and Bristle? Why not just continue their story and make it better? If they are so stuck on the same old character outlines just expand on the ones you currently have don't just make new ones. I guartee the next protags will be a mix of the three outlines from the last two arcs and the old cast of New Prophcey. The story will likely reflect New Prophecy and the only major change is setting which I don't think writers are bold enough to do anything with. Unless they plan to end the series they won't make major changes to the status quo. They only just adjusted the warrior code and look how well that's been going
@@finnsnow2495 I think it’d provide an opportunity for the books to actually examine the cat racism they continually neglect to talk about, at least as far as having a rogue there to disrupt the status quo and make them doubt starclan and their treatment of nonclan cats [since sol tried to do this but his influence didn’t last long]

One thing I'm confident in is that their xenophobia will never change. It is 99% of the conflict in the books and without there would be no story. I agree, I wish this would change but it doesn't matter if it's rouge. It'd be like it is with Root's dad. They would eventually listen, give the rouge a place in whatever clan probably hook it up with a love intrest or two, and every arc or two a cat would make passive aggressive remakes about them once being a rouge. Literally the same story as every single outsider. I'm just saying it wouldn't add anything new because it's already been done. The whole xenophobia thing was a main conflict in every single plot but because it's needed to drive conflict they can't get rid of it. It's the same reason the clans must stay apart and fight, it's most of the story and conflict. The majority of an arc is dedicated to a forbidden romance and that can't happen if it's not forbidden. Even with the new rules they manage to make the forbidden romance plot because without it there would only be three books. Also they already doubt Starclan it's been the conflict in the last three arcs about whether or not to trust them. That has already been done but writers continue to double down Starclan is essential because it is also an #1 contender for plot. Starclan has chosen outsiders before so it wouldn't be anything unheard of its just be a Firestar situation or literally any other countless rouge in the clans. Like I said your idea is fine but it's clear the writer's will never go in that direction. They've had those scernios before and chose the Firestar path where the cat itself gets accepted with a few snarky opposers but mostly it's a forgotten point even when the same conflict appears again. Despite Firestar being a kittypet they still hated them. It's just too vital to the story. Like I said they would only ever do that if the series was going to end. And before you say it there would be many other stories and conflicts you could make without the constant need for xenophobia but the writer's couldn't do it. I could never see them merging the clans and making a arc about leaving Starclan behind and learning to look beyond their clans forever. It took them until last arc just to adjust the warrior code and even then it hardly changed anything.
i have a vague theory of what it means when the cats loose their connection to starclan. perhaps the clans move to the mountains and create their own, unique tribes under the tribe of endless hunting! it would be amazing to see unique, different name formats in each of the clans and their own customs in the mountain range. and, how they might react to new dangers like hawks, wolves, and mountain lions
The secind graphic novel now has the April slot so I'm guessing January and August(?) will be the new book releases while the graphic novels will take the old slots of April and November. You know, if it is dead curlfeather influencing moonpaw, I think it would be cool if she WAS actually a helpful presence. I never got a sense from her character that she was just evil for no reason, and she did certainly care about her kid. It would be cool to see a dark forest cat genuinely trying to help- even if she's not going about it how Starclan might want. Like surely she still cares about the clans, and wants to see them safe, she just wanted to be leader. That dream is dead now- why would she keep being evil for no personal gain? I know warriors has a major black & white morality problem and basically sees all cats as entirely good or evil and would probably not do this LMAO, but it's one of the ways I could see Moonpaw's story actually being.... kind of interesting & not just a complete repeat like the rest of this arc seems to be. We need an arc where some cat who had their young years in another group, for example, the sisters or the tribe (because the tribe needs to have literally one time they’re strong) and realizes a bunch of flaws in clan life and has to rally other cats up and slowly fix the warrior code and clans over a few arcs, like a plot b for every arc if the plot a is a repeat. (Like this.)

If they’re making another ‘medicine cat who might have important visions that are actually from an evil spirit’ I want Moonpaw to listen to this evil spirit, and do whatever it says. Then when she eventually finds out that they’re evil, I want her to continue following them anyway. Make her evil, and make her enjoy being evil! She just seems like a character that looks innocent and sweet but is actually an evil gremlin. Ontop of that, what would be cool is if originally her leader makes her name Moonlight, but then she changes it to Moonshade instead, both a darker turn and if Mapleshade is her dark forest mentor, in honour on her.
Also, this book/arc seems to have a common theme of Visions. Moonpaw possibly having visions, Leafstar loosing her vision. Idk if this was intentional or not, but the two main points (aside from the elders) are about visions. To have a wild guess at it, it seems like Moonpaw having ‘visions’ but them actually being from the dark forest, and Leafstar loosing her vision, could be symbolising Starclan is leaving them? This ties in with the Moonpool being destroyed, which then ties in with the elders.

I actually really hope they don't move. In New Prophecy, they treat the lake territories as if it is completely untouchable by Twolegs, and in the in-world Warriors history, they have spent like 10 times less time in the new territory than the old one, and I find that kind of unrealistic.
there were already vacation cabins on the lake when they arrived and a few residents that stopped being relevant right after they got introduced

Honestly? The lake territories has been the longest appearing territory in the books. I could completely understand a change of scenery, I actually REALLY want a new landscape. It'd allow the writers to go free range with creativity. There could be a long lost clan there? Beautiful scenery, waterfalls and even a meadow. They could have something called a mooncavern that's this ancient, untouched cavern that leads down past a waterfall into a spiralling cavern with a moonstone submerged by a pool at the bottom.
There could be larger predators, more chance cats can actually get killed off more easily. Like Sharptooth or even bears. I'm honestly just thinking about all the possibilities.
Imo, I'm bored of the lake territories - I want the writers to go all out and craft something new and exciting once more. I know many people won't feel the same way, but it's been so long since we've had a new setting. 😫
Honestly, I really hope that the sinister voice Moonpaw hears is Scourge. It would be a more interesting twist on the evil spirit idea, if the evil spirit is a cat unrelated to starclan or the dark forest. Besides, they seem to heavily focus on starclan changing it's place of dwelling, so there could be some plot about them struggling to do it, because there's a rouge hell blocking their way. It would be nice having a plot where an evil cat is actually helpful and it would actually make Moonpaw crucial to solving the problem, instead of partially causing it, while still being difficult for her to navigate. Furthermore, if Moonpaw will in fact, be the daughter of Nightheart and Sunbeam, that would mean that she's related to Scourge through the Firestar line. Another more interesting option would be Moonpaw having a connection to a second dead dark forest cat. We've seen Mampleshade manipulate cats before and I really don't want them to just mush Crookedstar and Shadowsight together, it would be unoriginal and boring.
Okay, so we have Squirrelstar, Tigerstar and Harestar, with the possibility of Hawkstar... Frostpaw, you gotta pick a RiverClan leader with an animal prefix!

I thought they were going there with Nightheart in the first book of the current arc, he had ideas that sounded almost like cat democracy and it would have been interesting to see him ascend to leadership very young somehow (like Firestar) then struggle/fail at it, maybe ending up leading a small splinter group. Have clans split, have clans fight like in the first arc, anything not cookiecutter!
Even if they go through with a territory change, thats STILL reheating old ideas! I must admit I liked the second arc BECAUSE it was a radical change, but second arc.2 wont have the same oomph. Frostpaw and Jayfeather were running around dealing with other cat’s bullsh!t constantly, something tree should be doing for skyclan but he just sits around all the time and nobody has a problem with it. They made him kind of useful recently, but that doesn’t make up for how neglectful he’s been. If the authors were gonna make a new role, tree was not the way to do it.

It might be mapleshade. She’s the only dark forest leader who’s still alive, and losing her chance to wreak havoc on the clans with ashfur’s downfall might’ve been her final straw.
I think it would be so cool if the two POV's changed every book. Keep Moonpaw throughout the arc but have the other one's change! I am really glad that we are at least skipping 6-8 moons between arcs. I hated that there was barely any passage between TBC and ASC.
Also some people seemed confused by this- Tawnypelt IS the elder going on the quest and is the teased about "old friend" we've known since arc 1 :)

What if Moonpaw is a kit found during Ivypool's Heart? Recent arcs have been ending and picking up in almost the exact same times so, unless there's a descent time skip between arcs, it would be a good explanation as to where she came from. As much as i desperately want her to come from WindClan or RiverClan (i would like an arc that fully lets the other not ThunderClans shine). The blurb mentions finding a place full of strange creatures, which could give her character some interesting quirks. This is also a book that's putting focus on Ivypool's grief over Bris. Her healing could start by learning to care for this strange mystery kit.

I’m hoping moonpaw is a windclan cat who at first wants to become a medicine cat, but chooses a different path. this different path could be to lead windclan (crowfeather could die as a final send off since he’s been around for way more than half of the arcs) she could also be instead a kick-butt type kitty who won’t let any cat stand in her way.
I also am theorizing that since feathertail is gone, tawnypelt might try and fetch another cat for this mission to move the clans (maybe brightheart or any of the old clan cats, specifically old Riverclan cats since Riverclan might be difficult to move)

Like her being unsure in the beginning, but slowly growing to trust these sinister voices.
While we have had some protagonists that do go to the dark forest, the first to do so as trainees, we haven’t seen one, truly ally themselves with the dark forest, or go to the dark forest at all.
And one dark forest apprentice type we haven’t gotten yet is a dark medicine apprentice. so it would be really interesting if MP became an antagonist and a POV character at the same time.

I don’t read the books anymore and haven’t in years. I just loosely follow news, but the writers are recycling ideas to force this series to keep going. Warriors really has no reason to exist other than profit. They’ve got no new stories to tell.
Hey! I think I might have a theory! So I think maybe Wasp will be the new river clan leader! They made such a big deal of him leaving and how he believed in Riversrar and him wanting to be in riverclan, and I can't think of a reason other than wanting to introduce the character, because he basically just came to the clan territory than left without any major character development sooo that's my guess

the clans could go to a territory that’s in a place in mountains, like the tribe. a place next to the mountains would probably a sort of moorland or plains that windclan would live in. next to it, east, could be thunderclan’s forest. north of thunderclan could be shadowclan’s pine forest, and west of shadowclan could be riverclan’s territory, fading quickly from a pine forest to a normal forest to a rivery plains. skyclan could be northwest of riverclan in a lush plains territory where there could be a waterfall that pours into a lake that flows down into riverclan territory.
between riverclan’s,thunderclan’s,windclan’s, and shadowclan’s territory could be the gathering clearing, a clearing with a large rock at the north edge of the clearing, the rock has smaller rocks and pebbles around it, which the deputies could sit on.
the moonpool’s replacement would be the _mooncrystal_. a large, ~5 fox lengths tall, ~3 fox lengths wide amethyst crystal.
Why are people saying she is like Moonwatcher? Like maybe she is- but reminder, that Tui.t sutherland was once apart of the Erin’s team, so I don’t see wronging in the erin’s having some inspiration in another book their TEAMMEMBER wrote.

I still think it would've been a better story if Nightheart only pretended to be in love with Sunbeam to leave ThunderClan (and told her, of course), but I'll take what I can get, I guess. We need a couple that just doesn't want kits. A background couple's kit would be cool. Then we would get to see some personality from cats who are literally just cardboard cutouts right now.
Even though it's unlikely, I'd like it if she was from Windclan since we've never had a main series POV from a Windclan cat yet. And I want her to be a Warrior instead of a medicine cat but still be close to Whistlepaw or even Crowfeather.

I actually like the idea of all the original prophecy cats from TNP getting back together and convincing the Clans they need to leave again. It would be a nice callback and end to their arcs, or lives. I think at least one of them will die, and it's most likely Crowfeather. I don't have a reason, just a feeling similar to that of the one I got while reading A Light in the Mist (I guessed Graystripe was going to die, and low and behold...). I might just be a victim of nostalgia, but having characters that I know and love return as protagonists years after I first read about them makes me feel nice. I do wish Tawnypelt would just retire, though. She's almost 12 years old at this point, and after everything she's gone through she needs some rest lol
I think I'm not the only one who thinks that Moonpaw seems to be very similar to Moonwatcher from Wings of Fire?
Both have:
-Moon in their name
-Voices in their heads (+ which become sinister)
-Visions
I know this is just a blurb, but I still can't unsee the similarities.

The Moonpool being destroyed doesn't necessarily mean the Clans will have to move. It can also mean they'll have to learn to live without ther ancestors' guidance.

I wrote an au a year ago with my friends where our custom clans are pushed out of the their forest because of twoleg destruction and they meet ThunderClan, WindClan, SkyClan, ShadowClan, and RiverClan on the way to their new forest, in which the 5 of the canon clans had to join the journey because they shared twoleg descrution. No idea this was going to happen
Dang ok. I said on another video that I could see them moving the clans again because of twolegs poisoning the land somehow, except what I said was worse and darker, that not only do the twolegs poison the land, but the prey get poisoned as well causing clans to get ill and fall apart as cats die cause of the poison. To the point that they have to find a way to save the clans as numbers dwindle and cats begin to die. So they would have to join into one clan or even two in the end.
Im like almost done with the starless clan just when Star comes out I’ll sure be excited for this new arc.

I also would like if Moonpaw was alderhearts apprentice it would ne cute to see how alderheart and jayfeather function with a new apprentice. The old friend might be tawnypelt or brambleclaw or someone like that.

I don't like the idea of a territory change. The old territories were there for many cat generations. There are still cats alive on the lake that were adults when they were at the lake. What we need is a timeskip of some sort.
I've been obsessed with one of my OCs named Moonpaw lately and it's weird seeing a Canon moonpaw being one of the characters for the new arc 😅

I do love WC, but they are using like 4 major plot points that have been used…
1. Starclan being threatened AGAIN
2. Skyclan’s territory getting threatened AGAIN
3. An elder going on yet ANOTHER quest
4. ANOTHER young apprentice with a voice in their head.
And, again, I love the series and it’s also about the characters, and all of the new relationships and stuff, but the whole plot is based off of things we have seen either at least once, or for some MANY times…

Im excited for this arc Im totaly buin all of the books!!!!!!!
My predictions from this arc :
- Moonpaw is Nightheart and Sunbeam's kit and her warrior name will be Moonbeam or Moonheart (unless she has siblings so she gets named after one of her siblings), also i think Moonpaw's voice in her head is Mapleshade, the current Riverclan leader (i forgot his name), or a dead Berryheart.
- the cats will probably move into another territory according to the blurb and the arc title and i think it's a good idea since it's so boring reading about the same territory for 7-8 arcs.
- Tawnypelt will travel with Crowfeather, Brambleclaw, Stormfur and Leafstar (Squirrelstar won't be able to travel since she is now a clan leader and Ivypool will be on that quest from her super edditions).
- Moonpaw will be a medicine cat and i hope the writers will make her villain because we only got sweet or good medicine cats and we never got evil medicine cats.
- i see Moonpaw as gray-purple she-cat with dark blue eyes.
- Moonpaw won't get a mate or have kits since we also got medicine cats wanting a mate, or make her Lesbian (like Mothwing) but it will only be confirmed on separated websites by the writers since if we got a LGBTQIA cat then the books would get banned in different countries and i want every country to be happy with Warriors
That last theory reminds me, cloudtail became an elder, and i really REALLY want another atheist cat, it would be cool if moonpaw was a atheist.

Echoing Stories is what the arc should be called because all the arcs they do is simply echoes and mirrors of old arcs.
Seriously though the last two arcs have had apprentices that hear voices or see visions that are ominous and turn sinister. They need to do something else.
Also I'm not sure I see the need for a new setting. Yes, the current setting is boring but would changing it really help? It didn't do much before so I can't see it doing much now. Maybe think of something intresting and new instead of reusing the EXACT same story and character. Don't get me wrong it's always been lazy writting but at least they'd try to do something a little different. Like arc 2 was travelling, the next two arcs were about brand new characters and one was a prequel, the next arcs also had new characters and did some travelling and minor conflicts with a major battle. But, the last three have literally been copy and paste. They need to do something drastic, maybe just burn the entire forest with a fire and kill 90% of the characters that's what they did with novellas. Bluestar's Prophecy literally killed most the clan with disease to explain missing characters in the first arc. It was lazy but maybe it's a needed reset. Unless they make the new home in the middle of a city I fail to see how it will result in anything new
i think dawn of the clans was meant to basically be that - "a soft reboot". they actually planned to have all future arcs proceed from the dawn of the clans timeline but dawn of the clans sold so poorly they almost stopped writing warriors books all together...so while i agree with you, i can see why they're not doing that.
it’s getting so old, I understand that people like sad traumatized child prophets but at least make it interesting by having them be a rogue so the Clan cats don’t believe them
@@deweyr_fisher I don't think that would help at all. The children are already doubted anyway because eventually it's revealed they were manipulated and there has to be the distrust act. I think its be worst of we had yet another plot of an outsider not being trusted for having visions. Unless it was the final plot of the series and the rouge acted as guide away from Starclan because the clans have nowhere to go anymore but human society so the rouge has to help them acclimate. That would be the only realm it's intresting.
The other issue is that they just throw their old protagonists away. Aside from like Bramble and Squirrel who are instated into everything to the point it's annoying the other characters are just shafted. Like Shadowsight' s life just kinda sucks and he's forced to accept Starclan quite literally hates him (they don't say that but by not allowing him to have a connection to Starclan it's basically giving that message, I know they gave a a half hearted reason but I don't buy it). Violet just became Rootspring's mom and nothing else. Rootspring just became nothing until he's needed for plot convinevece. I know Warriors sucks at character development but instead of making placeholders maybe focus on making what you currently have better. Why make stories and cats that are mirrors of Shadow, Root, and Bristle? Why not just continue their story and make it better? If they are so stuck on the same old character outlines just expand on the ones you currently have don't just make new ones. I guartee the next protags will be a mix of the three outlines from the last two arcs and the old cast of New Prophcey. The story will likely reflect New Prophecy and the only major change is setting which I don't think writers are bold enough to do anything with. Unless they plan to end the series they won't make major changes to the status quo. They only just adjusted the warrior code and look how well that's been going
@@finnsnow2495 I think it’d provide an opportunity for the books to actually examine the cat racism they continually neglect to talk about, at least as far as having a rogue there to disrupt the status quo and make them doubt starclan and their treatment of nonclan cats [since sol tried to do this but his influence didn’t last long]
@@deweyr_fisher But they do talk about it, all the time. They talk about it until they conveniently forget about it like with Firestar. One thing I'm confident in is that their xenophobia will never change. It is 99% of the conflict in the books and without there would be no story. I agree, I wish this would change but it doesn't matter if it's rouge. It'd be like it is with Root's dad. They would eventually listen, give the rouge a place in whatever clan probably hook it up with a love intrest or two, and every arc or two a cat would make passive aggressive remakes about them once being a rouge. Literally the same story as every single outsider. I'm just saying it wouldn't add anything new because it's already been done. The whole xenophobia thing was a main conflict in every single plot but because it's needed to drive conflict they can't get rid of it. It's the same reason the clans must stay apart and fight, it's most of the story and conflict. The majority of an arc is dedicated to a forbidden romance and that can't happen if it's not forbidden. Even with the new rules they manage to make the forbidden romance plot because without it there would only be three books.
Also they already doubt Starclan it's been the conflict in the last three arcs about whether or not to trust them. That has already been done but writers continue to double down Starclan is essential because it is also an #1 contender for plot. Starclan has chosen outsiders before so it wouldn't be anything unheard of its just be a Firestar situation or literally any other countless rouge in the clans.
Like I said your idea is fine but it's clear the writer's will never go in that direction. They've had those scernios before and chose the Firestar path where the cat itself gets accepted with a few snarky opposers but mostly it's a forgotten point even when the same conflict appears again. Despite Firestar being a kittypet they still hated them. It's just too vital to the story. Like I said they would only ever do that if the series was going to end. And before you say it there would be many other stories and conflicts you could make without the constant need for xenophobia but the writer's couldn't do it. I could never see them merging the clans and making a arc about leaving Starclan behind and learning to look beyond their clans forever. It took them until last arc just to adjust the warrior code and even then it hardly changed anything.

i have a vague theory of what it means when the cats loose their connection to starclan. perhaps the clans move to the mountains and create their own, unique tribes under the tribe of endless hunting! it would be amazing to see unique, different name formats in each of the clans and their own customs in the mountain range. and, how they might react to new dangers like hawks, wolves, and mountain lions
The secind graphic novel now has the April slot so I'm guessing January and August(?) will be the new book releases while the graphic novels will take the old slots of April and November.

You know, if it is dead curlfeather influencing moonpaw, I think it would be cool if she WAS actually a helpful presence. I never got a sense from her character that she was just evil for no reason, and she did certainly care about her kid. It would be cool to see a dark forest cat genuinely trying to help- even if she's not going about it how Starclan might want. Like surely she still cares about the clans, and wants to see them safe, she just wanted to be leader. That dream is dead now- why would she keep being evil for no personal gain?
I know warriors has a major black & white morality problem and basically sees all cats as entirely good or evil and would probably not do this LMAO, but it's one of the ways I could see Moonpaw's story actually being.... kind of interesting & not just a complete repeat like the rest of this arc seems to be.

We need an arc where some cat who had their young years in another group, for example, the sisters or the tribe (because the tribe needs to have literally one time they’re strong) and realizes a bunch of flaws in clan life and has to rally other cats up and slowly fix the warrior code and clans over a few arcs, like a plot b for every arc if the plot a is a repeat. (Like this.)
