@elizabethwaterman IKR!?!? I don't know why people do that! And yes, they did not force her to, however, from what she says in the book, I feel like she felt she had to, and technically Blue star even said she would never be a warrior. BECAUSE HER LEG WAS CHRUSHED BY A CAR! FOR STARCLANS SAKE PEOPLE!
@@BPJD2004like others said, he foot got crushed by a car. ALSO, Deadfoot was born with a bad leg. He doesn't know anything else other than having a bad leg. Cinderpelt, on the other hand, was a warrior apprentice and got her leg crushed! And she wasnt forced into being a med cat, she liked helping yolofang!
The thing with Cinderpelt is that in Exile in ShadowClan Volepaw’s leg got mauled by rats and won’t ever work again. Cinderpelt’s case is almost the same, yet Volepaw got to be a warrior again. Nightpelt(star) told Volepaw when Volepaw refused to hunt “Your leg won’t stop you”. We see him bringing back prey as well so he is capable. Warriors logic there.
I kind of always liked Littlecloud because I found it interesting that he started as a warrior and was inspired by Cinderpelt helping him to become a medicine cat. He might not have much going on but I think that was a really nice bit of personality they gave him.
Her character could definitely have been A or even S if not for how she was in Starclan. Yellowfang used to be one of my favorites. But I only really liked her when she was alive.
I've only read to the start of act 3 so other than being Firestar's other mum (Bluestar is is the other) she's been coming to be cryptic with and mock Jaypaw as the only Starclan cat agro enough to tone match him.
mudfur was interesting in only one aspect, that he became a medicine cat apprentice after being a fully trained warrior. i think his choice was extremely interesting and cool, but other than that i forget about him. i just think, oh yeah, mudfur. that guy. also barkface is one of my favorite characters, i just like his vibes. he’s always been so kind and supportive and levelheaded. he was one of my favorite parts of tallstars revenge.
Aw man, I love Barkface 😅 His character and relationship with Tall in Tallstar’s Revenge is just really interesting and relatable to me. Actually, I really liked the trio of Bark, Shrew and Tall, even though the brothers didn’t go with Tall on his climatic journey. Obviously, Jake sort of steals the show in that story, but I don’t think they’ve ever made characters quite like Bark and his brother ever since and I like to think that he and Tall remained very close throughout their long lives as leader and medicine cat.
Resident Featherwhisker lover here, he's (in my humble yet very correct opinion) one of the sweetest without being annoying characters and also one of the few with a sense of humor, also he's very fluffy-just look at the official art of him- so I therefore must love him.
@@Spottedstorm27 that sounds sick lol, she's been my fav ever since I found out about the series (I watched a lot of spoilers before actually reading the books sadly)
I love and adore Cinderpelt and find it a little annoying when people talk about how her injury wouldn’t be super debilitating for a cat. Like, these cats act like people and an injury like that would be debilitating for a person. I also like how she becomes disabled in a sudden and jarring way and has to learn to grapple with it and what that means. She has to accept that there are things that she can’t do anymore while finding things that she can do. The fact that she felt like a burden when she first became disabled is super relatable and it’s nice seeing her regain confidence and live happily despite having her whole world changed in an instant. Cinderpelt’s story is something that is super relatable for me as someone who has recently became disabled. Just one day my body stopped working the way it should and I have never been able to recover. I have a lot of pain and difficulty walking as well as many other symptoms and dropped out of college to reevaluate my life and how my health affects it. I didn’t feel comfortable moving to live on my own when sometimes I can’t stand up on my own. I guess, for me, it’s similar to when people say that Briarlight is poor disability representation because she “doesn’t do anything”. The entire thing about being disabled is that there are limitations. That there are things that you can’t do and that’s okay. You might not be able to do or become what you originally wanted for yourself because of your disability but that isn’t the end of the world and you can live a happy fulfilling life. I guess I’m just kinda annoyed by the sentiment I see a lot in the Warriors Fandom that it is “poor disability representation” to have a character be debilitated by their disability. Now, Warriors doesn’t have great disability representation especially with the first one we see being Snowkit who’s disability was treated like a tragedy and then they killed him. But, it’s a little upsetting when people talk about how Briarlight and Cinderpelt didn’t become warriors when they probably could have. Brightheart, after becoming disabled, decided to continue being a warrior and work around her disability and that’s great! Cinderpelt, after becoming disabled, decided that she couldn’t be a warrior and found something else that would be easier for her to do with her disability and that’s great! Briarlight decided to not be a warrior or a medicine cat and instead find things to do around camp and that’s great!
Tbh, I hate that they made Cinderpelt a medicine cat. DeadFoot, a windclanner born with a twisted front paw, was a amazing warrior despite his paw and he even became deputy. However, giving Cinderpelt a second life, makes her special and outstanding from any other cat.
The only medicine cat I don't like is hawkheart he should have ended up in the dark forest he killed moonflower yes ik moonflower went after their herbs but hawkheart knocked her across the clearing stunning her he didn't need to kill her Hawkheart lunges at her, hurling her off her paws. He springs onto the she-cat and sinks her teeth into the warrior's neck. Moonflower manages to struggle free and smacks Hawkheart's muzzle, but the tom shrugs her off as if it was a fly. He grabs Moonflower by the throat and throws her across the grass, killing her. It says on hawkhearts Wikipedia page that he flung her across the clearing by her throat no good cat would attack like that
@@BPJD2004i mean moonflower was experienced yes it was wrong for her to go after their supplies but hawkheart didn't have to kill her moonflower was already defeated it even says in bluestars se hawkheart flung moonflower across the clearing then launched across the clearing onto moonflowers throat and what's with the condescending tone moonflower was 4 years old at the time of her death how is that not experienced
Good video, Akira! I agreed with a lot of your ratings. Not all, but you explained your opinions quite well and I respect them! :) Also, I was thoroughly entertained
I also respectfully disagree with the last one. I think Shadowsight's pretty interesting. Even though he's a nervous medicine cat character like Alderheart and Frostpaw, his anxiety is caused by something different (aside from feeling as though the fate of their respective Clan and/or all of the Clans as a whole rests on their shoulders). From what I recall, Alderheart's anxiety stems mostly from the pressure of his family's legacy. Some of Frostpaw's anxiety can be traced back to being forced into being a medicine cat apprentice, and much of that anxiety (and the pressure of saving RiverClan) is lifted when she becomes a warrior apprentice. Shadowsight has been able to see terrifying things since he was a kit, and these visions were often accompanied by seizures that left him feeling weak (it's also possible that he was accidentally injured by his loved ones during his seizures due to them holding him down, which you're not supposed to do because you can cause injuries to the person having a seizure). Shadowsight was also tempted by a dark force (Ashfur), but he managed to redeem himself and use his connection with Ashfur to help the other Lights In The Mists find and defeat the villain. While the reason for his lack of a connection with StarClan is a bummer, it's kinda nice to see another medicine cat with no StarClan connection who's still at least decent at their job. However, even though I like Shadowsight a lot, I'd only give him a C rank here. From what we've seen of Shadowsight so far, he's not a great medicine cat. At least decent, yes, but I wouldn't say great (like Mothwing, Jayfeather, and Leafpool) at this time.
You did Barkface so dirty. In Tallstar’s Revenge he’s genuinely such a kind and caring friend (especially when Tallstar was lacking positive relationships in his clan). Yeah, he’s not crazy important or anything but he was always well characterized.
I think I’m the only person in the warrior cats fandom…. to… not…. Like….. Mothwing o.o I’ve just never been interested in her and what she did to Shadowsight in the broken code really lowered my likeness toward her
Something about Cinderpelt that I believe more people should take into account. You could argue, “but deadfoot was the deputy of windclan!” He was. But his foot was twisted, Cinderpelt’s leg was crushed by a rapidly moving 1 ton car. And another thing, Deadfoot’s injury was his front paw, a paw he depends on sure, but not for everything. Cinderpelt’s injury was her back leg which is the one cats use to balance themselves, leap, and jump. As a warrior you need to be balanced, you need to leap and pounce to catch your prey. And one final point, she wasn’t forced into being a medicine cat. She wouldn’t ever be warrior, its true, but what people forget is she could’ve gone to the elder’s den like Nightshade. But she didn’t. She truly enjoyed helping Yellowfang with herbs, and (if I’m remembering well) was really excited to go to mother mouth to become a medicine cat apprentice!
I think a lot of the medicine cats are super special in their own ways, yellowfang was such a cool concept, I wish we could’ve seen her power used more
I love runningnose. He's a sweet cat who watched his best friend and littermate fall to be a terrible cat and have such horrid intent in the end. Brokenstar and him were buddies and it's rare to see that dynamic in warrior cats. I'm sad there was such little of him featured in the books.
I’m sorry but read yellowfangs secrets they were not friends, and runningkit mostly just did not participate in bullying him after being scolded by yellowfang but his littermates continued to.
In my opinion, on the topic of Mothwing and Shadowsight, I both agree and disagree with you. Shadowsight is one of my favorite characters in the whole series, just trying to help everyone, but to no avail because they don’t trust him. He also has the idea of constantly wanting approval, as he is Tigerstar(2)’s son and the clan believes he gets everything handed to him, despite him working hard to try and keep everybody safe. I also think Mothwing’s character was ruined for me in the broken code. As she constantly got at Shadowsight, ripping him from his role that he’d been working his whole life towards. Though she had a reason to do so, Shadowsight had been manipulated into thinking Ashfur was StarClan from a young age, and once again, took the chance to prove himself by saving Bramblestar. I adore Mothwing in every other arc and book, but the way she acted in the broken code really shoved me the wrong way.
love the video< btw can you do a video on the new updated warriors guid because i got it at barns and nobles today and there are so manny mistakes, for example there are manny spelling mistakes: "he rise of scorg" also it said that rock< yes rock the underground cranky old cat had a mentor who was LEAFSTAR! idk if this was just a strange copy r something but it would be cool if you could make a video on it< bur not pressure really lmao, i know the books are expensive TwT
There is a character who wanted to be a medicine cat but they were forced to be warrior? I don't remember, but I think would be more interesting than "cat wants to be a warrior but disability and Starclan said no"
@@elizabethwaterman7793 yeah, but I think is different because she understood that being a medicine cat wasn't for her and decided to become a warrior. I'm talking of a cat wanting to become a medicine cat because, for example they don't like violence and prefers helping by healing their clanmates, but because of harsh times, they are forced to train as a warrior
Moth Flight's Vision is my favorite Super Edition, but her decision to make that rule about medicine cats not being able to have a mate or kits is the stupidest one in the Warrior Code.
Right now, I am on the second arc of warrior cats, but I really like how spotted leaf was the needed love interest for Fireheart yeah sure she didn’t get that much screen time but I still really like her and again with the love interest for Fireheart a main character having a love interest for another character character that either dies or ends up getting with someone else I just really like that concept sometimes
I actually like mudfur. His decision to want to heal and not fight was inspiring and unique. He was a good father to Leopardstar and he was a good mentor to Mothwing in my opinion.
my main disagreement for this video is shadowsight ngl, if alderheart gets a tier for being anxious then shadowsight should not be in f for "not being unique"
Alderheart came first so he gets a lot of credit for that. And I feel like Alderheart has more character beyond just being anxious than Shadowsight does. And Shadowsight's anxiousness was used more to work Ashfur into the plot than it was used to make Shadowsight interesting as a character. Of course you're welcome to disagree, just wanted to explain myself.
@@BrightGuardianAkira i get it, anxious wasn't ever used as a trait other than ravenpaw before alderheart and shadowsight (i havent read up to frostpaw yet) and now it feels like its being overused. i just think that shadowsight shouldn't get as much hate as he does
I respectfully diagree with Willowshine and Safewhisker. She was not only there because of the need of an actual medicine cat. She was a great cat for the plot. Sagewhisker was also a caring cat only wanting the best for the clan. She cared for Yellowfang a lot and apologizes to Yellowfang for the trouble she costed her after joining StarClan in the epilogue.
moth flight was probably the best way they could've made medicine cats exist (she's got so much depth and is relatable) but the no kits rule was executed poorly
Imo: Kestrelflight should be bumped up one tier for how much he specifically pisses Jayfeather off more than any other MC. There's no reason for it, I love it sm.
Not a bad tier list. It looks good and everyone has their own opinions. You should do leaders next to make it more interesting. Everyone has their own favorite leaders. You don't have to do all of them, but that's up to you.
I think one of the few things that makes Barkface stand out is that he is (I believe) the second longest-lived cat after Mistystar (He is older than Tallstar and made it all the way through The Power of Three). Even if he didn't do much, he was kind of a staple of the series. I also enjoyed that he chose to be a medicine cat, and was supportive of Talltail in his Super Edition.
How? Alderheart was born moons after the Great Battle, so it can't have been like the Cinderpelt Becoming Cinderheart thing, And honestly there was no reason for her to become part of one of Squirrelflight and Bramblestar's kits. It's just highly improbable.
I am going to bake you a cupcake. A cupcake with a hole dug in the middle. A cupcake that I will then vomit in said hole. A cupcake that I will then frost with mustard. A cupcake that I will decorate with toenails as sprinkles. A cupcake that I will then force you to eat. Have a HORRIBLE evening.
i actually really do like Spotredleaf, she was a comfort character when i was a kid so i’m a bit more biased. the whole Firestar x Spottedleaf retcon was so unnecessary though.
so happy that you put leafpool my fave character at S though a lot the cats you said were boring or bad were a bit random. Willowshine? bad? whoops sorry! But can you please do a video about leafpool!
I hate how Mothing has been used this arc. She of all cats should be advocating for the clan to solve things themselves instead of relying on Starclan to pick a leader for them. They should not have been pressuring a literal child, they should have worked it out amongst themselves. Why do you need your ancestors to handhold you? But nope, they didn't go that route, and she's apparently okay with Podlight just taking over.

@@BPJD2004 I feel like a lot of people are downplaying Cinderpelt's injury. Her leg was CRUSHED BY A CAR! Also she wasn't forced to be a medicine cat. She just liked to help Yellowfang and Yellowfang asked her to be her apprentice.
@elizabethwaterman IKR!?!?
It’s nice to see that *Two whole people* know that Cinderpelts leg was literally *CRUSHED BY A CAR THATS WAY HEAVER THAN HER PROBALY GOING 50-60 MPH*
He might not have much going on but I think that was a really nice bit of personality they gave him.
he cool and tiny
my heart cracked a bit when yellowfang ended up in B instead of A
Her character could definitely have been A or even S if not for how she was in Starclan. Yellowfang used to be one of my favorites. But I only really liked her when she was alive.
@@snowleopardintroversion faax
IKR She's my favorite even after OoTS
I've only read to the start of act 3 so other than being Firestar's other mum (Bluestar is is the other) she's been coming to be cryptic with and mock Jaypaw as the only Starclan cat agro enough to tone match him.
starclan yellowfang ❌
live yellowfang ✅
mudfur was interesting in only one aspect, that he became a medicine cat apprentice after being a fully trained warrior. i think his choice was extremely interesting and cool, but other than that i forget about him. i just think, oh yeah, mudfur. that guy.
also barkface is one of my favorite characters, i just like his vibes. he’s always been so kind and supportive and levelheaded. he was one of my favorite parts of tallstars revenge.
Oof, that dig on Shadowsight broke my fragile little heart. I love him 💔
Wow, Moonkitti and Bright Guardian making a tier list on the same day!
The runningnose joke was always funny,
Yellowfang always got angry that he was made med cat yet he can’t fix his own cold!
Best joke ever.
Resident Featherwhisker lover here, he's (in my humble yet very correct opinion) one of the sweetest without being annoying characters and also one of the few with a sense of humor, also he's very fluffy-just look at the official art of him- so I therefore must love him.
I like him too, just an all around good guy.
that's really sad, I loved Shadowsight :( his whole thing with Ashfur was interesting to say the least.
The erins after reading this and seeing all the cats in the d tier-
Dang
We really screwed up
Unpopular opinion but:
I think SpottedLeaf deserves more love. (Havent watched the video yet but I'm just saying)
I agree so much when she died in the first book in to the wild when I was reading it I was in school I nearly cried 😢 lol
@@mariebyrne279 She gets hated on so much :(
I agree. I freaking adore Spottedleaf. I named my first main oc after, Spottedstorm!
@@Spottedstorm27 that sounds sick lol, she's been my fav ever since I found out about the series (I watched a lot of spoilers before actually reading the books sadly)
Lol no
I love and adore Cinderpelt and find it a little annoying when people talk about how her injury wouldn’t be super debilitating for a cat.
The only medicine cat I don't like is hawkheart he should have ended up in the dark forest he killed moonflower yes ik moonflower went after their herbs but hawkheart knocked her across the clearing stunning her he didn't need to kill her
Hawkheart lunges at her, hurling her off her paws. He springs onto the she-cat and sinks her teeth into the warrior's neck. Moonflower manages to struggle free and smacks Hawkheart's muzzle, but the tom shrugs her off as if it was a fly. He grabs Moonflower by the throat and throws her across the grass, killing her.
It says on hawkhearts Wikipedia page that he flung her across the clearing by her throat no good cat would attack like that
You kidding me? I would. Besides, Moonflower shouldn't have gone for the medicine den, leave that to a more experienced warrior.
I would be really interested on a Barkface or Littlecloud video

Good video, Akira! I agreed with a lot of your ratings. Not all, but you explained your opinions quite well and I respect them! :) Also, I was thoroughly entertained
You have my support for life. You ranked Alderheart in the A tier. You are now one of my favorite people because of that.
I love Echosong so much she's so cool and graceful 🤧
Yeah I miss her
You did Barkface so dirty. In Tallstar’s Revenge he’s genuinely such a kind and caring friend (especially when Tallstar was lacking positive relationships in his clan). Yeah, he’s not crazy important or anything but he was always well characterized.
I think I’m the only person in the warrior cats fandom…. to… not…. Like….. Mothwing o.o
I’ve just never been interested in her and what she did to Shadowsight in the broken code really lowered my likeness toward her
I’ve always found her a bit annoying lol
I think it would be interesting if there was a video about what medicine cats that aren’t from thunderclan or moth flight that deserve there own novel
I love the animation and vid quality so fun!❤
I love how oblivious I was to Flametail, Especially given the fact that my oc was named Flametail until recently
0:51 hearing bright guardian Akira say ‘shut up’ to bluestar’s prophecy had me laughing
I think a lot of the medicine cats are super special in their own ways, yellowfang was such a cool concept, I wish we could’ve seen her power used more
How DARE you slander my baby sagewhisker and shadowsight like this. You have made an ENEMY. A LIFELONG ENEMY, AKIRA.
I CAN’Y BEIEVE SHE DID OUR PPOKIES LIKE THIS I’M GOING TO HAVE MANIC IBS
Heaving to translate all the names in ur head when u didn't read the series in English is so😭😭
I love how she put Leafpool and Mothwing right next to each other
Also for RunningNose in the cats of clan: Tigerstar's nine lives, Tigerstar says " A medicine cat that can't cure his own cold. Barely even a cat!"
1:31 I actually have "Yellowfang's Dark Secret" and I have read it multiple times. I absolutely adore Yellowfang.
Personally love most of these! Great video I’m first huh 👀
Another video! Keep going i love your videos!

ANY LINE ABOUT JAYFEATHER AND HIS STICK!!!
My favorite medicine cat is Cinderpelt and when Akira placed her at the B tier list I was like: “WHAT?!”
"Kestrelflight just as boring as his mentor." Is the funniest thing I've heard all week
love the video< btw can you do a video on the new updated warriors guid because i got it at barns and nobles today and there are so manny mistakes, for example there are manny spelling mistakes: "he rise of scorg" also it said that rock< yes rock the underground cranky old cat had a mentor who was LEAFSTAR! idk if this was just a strange copy r something but it would be cool if you could make a video on it< bur not pressure really lmao, i know the books are expensive TwT
There is a character who wanted to be a medicine cat but they were forced to be warrior?
I don't remember, but I think would be more interesting than "cat wants to be a warrior but disability and Starclan said no"
Hollyleaf trained as a medicine cat but had to trade places with Jayfeather in the first PoT book
Yay, a new video!

Yay, another video is out! 😊
Akira has one of the best opinions in da fandom change my mind😂
my main disagreement for this video is shadowsight ngl, if alderheart gets a tier for being anxious then shadowsight should not be in f for "not being unique"
OMG LIONTHUNDER?! HIIIIII

I mean, all characters exist for plot convenience
I think you should do a tier list ranking all main character’s
moth flight was probably the best way they could've made medicine cats exist (she's got so much depth and is relatable) but the no kits rule was executed poorly
Hmm the person who loves Mothwing dislikes Shadowsight... I see, maybe Mothwing's opinions got to you haha.
I agree on Shadowsight. He didn't develop much throughout the plot and just served as a way to make Ashfur taking over Bramblestar's body make sense.
In my opinion
Goosefeather, Brambleberry, and Mudfur>>>>> every other medicine cat
respectfully disagree with yellowfang’s secret being boring because that book makes me ugly cry every time 😭😭
I would have liked it if you put Yellowfang, Cinderpelt, Spottedleaf, and Flametail in the S spot, but we all have our own opinions 🧡

Fun fact: when spottedleaf died the 2nd time she turned into alderheart
How?
Alderheart was born moons after the Great Battle, so it can't have been like the Cinderpelt Becoming Cinderheart thing,
And honestly there was no reason for her to become part of one of Squirrelflight and Bramblestar's kits.
It's just highly improbable.
