This song makes me think about the place where I was born and spent half of my life living in. A small country place in the US. I loved it there. I realize that my experiences were what they were because my parents protected me. The real came knocking in the end, but the memories that I have are real and they are precious. I will always cherish them.
@@tai2664 It is. Although the way things are in the country today, I don’t know if I’ll ever get that back. It was beautiful to experience, and sad to lose.
@@BulletTheEnforcer Hold on to the memories, cherish them. It's sad to loose the chance to do that again but the memories will never go away. Hold on to them.
Such a perfect theme for Clark’s existential crisis. Caught between two identities, not sure where he belongs. Powers that are God-like and not sure if he should use them or not. Truly a great representation of not jus Superman as a myth, but as a man.
I’m not even that big on Man of Steel, but my lord. This track along with Look to the Stars and Flight, but this track especially (they’re all combined here anyways)... If I put my bias aside, this is the best superhero film track composed to date. It’s just so universal and real. You could put this behind any hero’s story and it works. Any person’s story. There’s no Super without Man. This theme affirms we’re all human. We’ve all gone through hard times... We just have to be stronger. Be Superman. Look to the stars.. realize you were sent here for a reason.. and take flight.
Saw the movie today....way better than Chris Reeve versions and those were awesome. Storyline of MOS made a lot of sense and the effects were just.....Wow!
"I bet your parents taught you that you mean something, that you're here for a reason. My parents taught me a different lesson, dying in the gutter for no reason at all. My parents taught me the world only makes sense if you force it to." -Bruce Wayne/Batman
After saving dozens of people on a Burning oil rig, and also hefting up a giant steel pillar. Kal-El swims ashore into a pier. Walking up the road, he sees a bus load of children. He stares and reminices his childhood. Boom...gets hazing from some school frens during childhood days.... Then later saves fellow students from drowning from a school bus that dived off a bridge. Children's parents complain to the kent. "my son saw wat clark did...he was on the bus" sequence !
well I think he had too, word on the street is Hans Zimmer said he would score Spideys second movie if and only if he puts the whole OST on youtube for him, and now Hans Zimmer is going to score amazing spiderman 2!
From 1:40 onwards was used in another scene far off in the movie. The Fortress...or shall I say the SPACESHIP of Solitude in Alaska ! Trying to learn abt the Kryptonian Key, (A key with the Super Symbol ) meanwhile Lois who trailed Clark in the spaceship...gets warned and harrased by a Floating krytptonian Droid that produces Sand formations for a face. Then Supes to her rescue.
even if the film is ONLY half as good as the soundtrack, that means it will still be awesome! Besides, Christopher Nolan has NEVER let me down so far - and I doubt he ever will!!!!!!
SPOILERS ?? WHAT freaking spoilers...Its been about 3 months. Thanx for NOT watching the movie till now Freedoms.... I think the BlueRay should be out abt in the next few weeks... Lolz ! :)

Whenever I’m down . I always listen to this track . It brings me hope
The ending to this song is so beautifully haunting. It's just magical

That baaaaaaaaaasssssssss! That's the lurking extra-terrestrial power of superman right there bitches!
It was in Canada, not Alaska. That's why Lois Lane was allowed at the research facility.

It'll be twice as good as the soundtrack.
This video must have been released after Superman killed Zod because there is no dislikes.

Lol a superhero can be a fan for another superhero XD
lmfao
What so funny about shazam being the superfan for other heroes?
meanwhile in new york.... if you understand what i mean....
can i just keep pretending im your son
You are my son
the "s" symbol should stand for faith not hope , faith makes people stronger
Faith is irrelevant. Believing in something imaginary doesn't help anyone.
Peter, are you going to quit Marvel and come to DC? I want you to know that you are the only Marvel CHaracter that is welcome to the DC World.
Thanks
