Love the redcat videos, I would suggest putting loctite on the keyed axel housing tubes cause they will come lose. My Gen 8 has every redcat part available for the gen 8 thanks guys for a great Crawler.
How much weight does this aluminum axle housing add per axle? Im debating this or Treal. Can anyone suggest a better option than this? maybe a brass housing?
I need to slow down the center dif on my landslide. Im losing a lot of foward motion every time the front comes up any good suggestions? All I could think of is using a heavy grees. But there must be a better idea. Im interested?
A heavier fluid in the center will distribute power more evenly and give it more bite. Your power is most likely just bleeding off the center to the least path of resistance causing you to loose grip.
Hello, I'm from Milan Italy and would like to buy all these new parts. I'm registered but you don't ship to Europe...how can I do? I have made a lot of videos on your product and it would be nice to make some on these parts. Ciao
So your best option would be this distribute. www.elefun.no/rc/hobby.aspx Once in contact with them you can inquire about parts availability and such. We directly do not ship overseas yet.

Perhaps if I went to med school I would be brave enough to attempt this upgrade. Looks great though!
I like the intro thats awsome and the redcat gen 8 is almost aluminum rig
Nice! Will be getting a set for mine!
Is that Greg from RC Driver???
Awesome I've been looking for this video thanks
Is this gear box the same for front and back

Thanks for the reply a little late though lol

need shims?
Are you guys making these parts for the axe edition? These ones wont fit because of the different shock mounting points right?
Not at this point and time no.
No love for us Axe owners ? Lol
@@sabresswords Not necessarily - the AXE axles are basically better then the aluminum ones anyways.

@@RedcatracingAZ thats what I was guessing. Thank you for the reply
Does this work for the AXE edition? There is not a double shear on the model in the video.
Technically yes it still works.
@@RedcatracingAZI got the parts, I went and found that I need a ball stud.
I cant seem to find them on your website
So as of right now - they are not on the site for availability reasons. Keep an eye out on the web page for them to appear if and when in stock.
Do the upgrades for the gen 8 fit the gen 7
Yes
The parts for the Gen8 portals and the portals for the Gen7 KIT are the same - minus the steering system mount for the Gen7 model.
Does it fits for the front also ?
Yes - The centers are the same front and rear.
i used red loctite and still didnt hold i would not buy the three piece housings
Not sure how Red Loctite did not work - might actually have been to much. But a lot of other people with these are having no problem at all.
