Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn: Critical Hit and Mastery Skill Collection Part 2

This one contains some of the third tier classes, their critical animations, and their mastery skills.

Credits to GoldieX39 for her codes that helped me find the "item table" similar to what I'm familiar with in the GBA Fire Emblem Games.
What stuff I used from her:
*Chapter Warping
*Skill Removing (Specifically Mantle and "Boss" element skills for Lethality and Bane to work)
*Alliance (Color) Modification
*Item Range, Yune Blessing, Hit, Critical, Might, "Attack/Weapon" ability and "Critical Null" ability modification, specifically "Judge" and the Bronze Weapons.
*Class Base stats and stat caps
*Unit loading via coordinates, movement addresses, and "Guide refreshing"
Credits to VincentASM for his Radiant Dawn ISO notes... helped me find the Pacifist Data in the RAM to edit. Like how Sephiran was able to attack Sanaki and Micaiah, Kurthnaga and Ena and the Dragons, and Ashera attacking Lehran (despite being Mantle'd).
The entire video set includes every Critical Hit and Master Skill animation (hopefully I didn't miss anything) for Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn.
Note: Lion and Tiger Laguz have the same animation for Lethal and Non-Lethal transformed hits.

Sheesh, for such a one-off boss, they gave Izuka some cool animations.
I'm just surprised that Nailah has a death animation.

Volke is so badass, that he just HAS to do more moves than the other knives-bearers in his criticals.

check your bios for an option that says "VM" somewhere in it and turn it on. It should optimize a little
Disarm and Adept on Brom makes him a BEAST in this game! If he doesn't kill and enemy without getting counterattacked, he at least leaves the enemy completely prone to being killed or stolen from by another unit.

Jesus, the camera work in some of these. They really went all in on the animation.
they should have given izukas unique criticals and flare animations to pelleas, you never even see them with izuka if it werent for hacking, and pelleas is a dark sage too

If i recall correctly, Boyd whooped my ass on my first fight against him with this.
Yeahhh... Awakening was good, but I think every game before it(not counting remakes 11-12) back to, like, FE5 had better combat animations. Although this game had bad support mechanics so it balances out a bit.
It kills me to say it, but the mechanics of FE10 were so much better than those of FE13.

After watching these videos I have got to say that Awakening's animations are the only ones I really liked. So lifelike! And actually make sense!
Seems like there was a trade off.
Good voice acting for boring as shit critical animations.
I mean, the ones in Echoes are still amazing compared to Awakening and Fates, but they still aren't as good as any of these.
Fire Emblem gameplay has been all over the place lately, so I wouldn't mind the Awakening support and gameplay style to be predominant. As long as pair ups were either fixed or removed entirely. But no matter what, there needs to be a point where we can get combat animations that flow as smoothly as Fates and Echoes (because Radiant Dawn is a little bit stiff), and are as much eye candy as Radiant Dawn.
Nah, Radiant Dawn's support system was good, it's just the conversations sucked.

Hell no, his colour scheme is great. Sentinel is my favourite class, and his personality exemplifies how the common person can aspire to greatness.
He looks great and may be alright when he finally reaches sentinel class. But getting him there I don’t think is worth it. I prefer nephene.

Volke is just the best character ever.
Radiant Dawn hands down has the best Crit animations and the sound effect is just oddly satisfying to hear
I'm honestly surprised that this game, which came out in late 2000s, is still better graphically than 3H, which came out more than 10 years later.
@@ResurgentRaven 3h is by no means graphically at fault for why it looks the way it does its mainly due in part by the Switchs power output and hardware limitations . For me that game just has the best Archer aka Claude in the franchise .
@@JCRXV Agree to disagree. Doesn't change the fact that the combat animations 3H are substandard at best.
Shinon is still the Master Archer and Claude can never and will never replace him in my book

Both Awakening and Fates ran at nearly 60fps. Radiant Dawn ran at 60fps.
Three Houses runs slightly above 30fps.
You're telling me that the Wii and 3DS had better rates than a console deemed superior.
Geez, it's no wonder that aside from BotW and Super Mario Odyssey no other game on the Switch comes close to that level of quality these two games had.

Anyone else find it strange that the vague katti has higher might than alondite, so apparently Stefan just happens to HAVE A KATANA THAT IS STRONGER THAN A SACRED LONGSWORD THAT IS BLESSED BY A GODDESS, that makes absolutely no sense!

Well, Katanas are very good swords. Having that much might compared to the Blessed Longswords and their mass produced cousine, the Tempest Blade, is pretty nuts. Although, those three swords murder anything from a distance when given to a good True Blade or Ike.
In path of radiance its might was actually 13, while ragnell and Alondite had 18, so yeah, it doesn't make sense.

Each model's movements is programmed differently. Same with speed, etc.
For example, Marcia, Sigrun, and Tanith. Even though they're the same class as Falcon Knights or Seraph Knights, the model movements are different. They're just so similar, you don't usually notice.

There's no point. Model movements are copy paste for many classes. Though a cut-in/voice clip collection for skills/criticals would be another story.

@@emberhermin52 That's how powerful the Rex Tomes and Balberith can be. It's extremely crazy because no other tomes in the series does it in this fashion. Games 1-8 are 2D and make the illusion of its graphics to suggest the movement of the spell. Forblaze calls fire from a wide vortex and erupts across the ground, Valflame calls fire from the sun; Apocalypse, Ereshkigal, Gleiphnir, Naga, and Loptous surges the whole area with either light or darkness. After this, no magic has ever done this besides maybe the Starlight tome in 11 and 12. TL;DR, these tome are awesome yet underpowered.
And Zelgius vs. the Black Knight didn't give you that hint that I was memory hacking?

@shadowofchaos725 I dont know if anyone has posted this already but... what "whatbear12" meant is that titania´s attacks are faster than the others. Comparing Titania's attacks with Kieran's attacks, Titania's are way faster. Do you know why this is?
Why do all Marshalls make the legendary weapons like Urvan and Alondite look like ordinary weapons since they are usually huge weapons? o_O

Hello, very cool video. And well, I"m sorry to ask this of you, but for some reason I can't seem to give Micaiah the skill to were she can use the other types of magic. (I want her to use fire magic) I also can't seem to get Mist to have the skill were she can command the other units. So do you think you could try to help me since again I put in the codes, but nothing seems to happen. Also I'm trying to get these ones to work while playing the game on my Wii.
