  • A simple video explaining how to roll up your bar and lines. the bar we are using is the Ocean Rodeo Stick shift bar. You can however use this same method for any bar.
Packing up your bar and lines properly isn't about the pack up, its about making it easier to set up next time.
This video of rolling up your bar is a simple way to keep your gear neat and ready for action on the next session.

Thanks ! I have the Ocean Rodeo bar you used in the video. I always had difficulties doing a clean wrap/unwrap on it. You method is perfect. Wonder why I couldn't figure it out myself. Maybe Ocean Rodeo should include this wrap method in the owner's manual for this bar.

Thanks Luke! I'm just starting Snowkite and I have a lot of basic questions. I can't have an instructor by my side each time I'm getting out. I know how to roll my lines, but I just didn't remember how to start it the right way. Your videos are great help, well explained and detailed.

Hi Luke, thanks for your helpful videos.
How do you like the bar?
Is it easy to power/depower. How about in gusty conditions when you have to depower and power often?
    Thanks, Manfred

Hey Manfred, you are welcome mate, glad you like them! and yes, loving the bar, for me, its the easiest bar i have used.. and the power depower is great. you can move your bar in increments which makes it easier to fine tune your setting, and it has an adjustable throw so if you are in really gusty conditions, you can widen the throw to allow for a longer sheeting out range. I have found that my old bar often didn't have the throw range i could have used, and as a result sometimes felt highly overpowered. Now, with this Stickshift bar it's far more manageable. I will be making a full video on the bar so you can keep an eye out for that. :)
