Hello to my new subscribers and to my day ones!!
Heres a little bit about me. My name is Brianna Dance.A millennial. A Black woman who loves Jesus and whose life mission is to help others become the best version of themselves. I started Power of Care to bring people along on my own healing journey to show others what the Lord can do with brokenness.
Becoming the best version of yourself, isn't exclusive to physical fitness , [which is super important]. The real transformation starts in your heart, and requires a dope partnership with Jesus Christ and a lot of surrendering. It takes honesty, vulnerability, and self-awareness , and I'm learning a lot along the way.
I'm from Prince Georges County, Maryland. 28 years old . Graduated from Hampton University in 2014. Majored in Public Relations and Minored in Business Management. Graduated. Thought I would go off and work for a PR Agency or Event Company. Got a public affairs internship in DC. Learned A lot but wasn't fulfilled. Worked small jobs for a few months until God revealed my desire to help others heal. Enrolled in Grad School at Howard University School of Social Work.Graduated in 2017. Worked as a case manager for a DC Government agency helping youth . Got my social work license in 2018. Continued to work as a case manager and added so many tools to my resource belt. In 2019 I Applied for a social work position at Childrens National Hospital. Got the job and grateful for it. I serve in the community professionally, but also in my local church. I serve as a leader at Sharon Bible Fellowship Church within the Media , Youth , and Stephens Ministry. I have a strong village and support system and a huge family.
I've been on TH-cam for a few years.. but ready to amp things up :-)!
