@@saiharish89 hi Harish in benq website I see for 120 inch diag screen throw distance should be 156.9 Inches (13 feet) why you have set 16 feet any reason? In my home living room length is 15 feet and I m planning to set for 120 inch screen
@@believeinrakesh846 yeah you are right, the actual distance for a 120 diag screen size is 13, but I made a mistake of not mountain the projector on the ceiling, so had to stick it on my back wall shelf. But I used the digital lens shift and adjusted it

This was a very informative video! Thanks! I had an InFocus 720p HD Home Theatre Projector earlier and plan to upgrade to this one. In which city are you based out of? Is the colour bleed around the screen only on the top and bottom? This is because the DLP chip is basically a 16:10 resolution, but most video is 16:9. Also I see your projector is mounted at an angle, and not parallel (lens) to the ground. This means you are using digital keystone correction. This happens to be just an approximation and interpolation of pixels (like digital zoom on cameras). So the darkened pixels will also throw some light. I would suggest getting a remount and ensuring you get the projector to be parallel to the ground. So that you don't have to use any keystone correction.
Absolutely correct information! I observed the same thing. Also the lens hole ring and outside area is glossy.. it may also be affecting the upper side of the projected screen, the Halo effect which the reviewer pointed out.. fixing the angle should fix it
You are right, the halo effect is due to the chip ratio, and its exaggerating due to projector bad position, I tried holding the projector in my hand parallel to screen and still observed the halo effect. In my experience you can minimise it but cant get rid of it totally
Quality is awesome.. Also, there are some Red, Blue, Green lines moving on the screen. This will come for every DLP projector or your video recording gives that RGB lines??
RGB lines are visible only while recording. I have the same projector and it doesn't show the RGB lines while watching any content, but only while we do a video recording.
@@green_life7 I would recommend you to go with a DLP than an LCD projector. From my research I have found that LCD projectors tend to have color fading issues over time. [The technician of a reputed LCD projector brand confirmed this with me.] Go for any Branded projector which provides service in your area.

Rainbow effect is something like an on off switch, either its there or no. If you are sensitive to the rainbow effect get an lcd projector. But so far I have observed rainbow effect does not increase with time.

You can connect firetv stick, and connect your soundbars/system to it. I'm getting great sound using the Bluetooth. Though through cable, ofcourse the output is gonna be the best. But Bluetooth connectivity is great too..

Hi my screen size is 120inch with 16ft throw distance.
For you 90 or 100 inch screen with throw distance of 14ft would be ideal!
