You need to check out gills grill in Gambo and try there moose rolls and anything on the menu really so delicious

Not the newfie, when ya says "not soft n slubby" LOL. I loved Norma's wedgies BUT the gravy mix... I just can't get over restaurants using that beef gravy mix. I understand the reasoning behind it, but it tastes so fake, processed and so high in salt, it's just horrible. I haven't ordered anything from Norma's in over 10 years, and doubt I'll ever go back. When I go out, I'd rather go to a restaurant where you know they actually make real gravy that's not full of salt and MSG.

Well Cindy I don't know if it's because I'm werid or maybe I just had to much of it growing up but I love that dark salty beef gravy!! I'm so werid that I would rather that then homemade turkey gravy from cooked dinner! But hey I know most people would agree with you more then me haha. Glad you liked the video 😁
@@NerdyNewfie Some people just like salty foods. I don't cook with salt, so the salty foods turn my stomach, and being allergic to MSG those gravy mixes are not too kind on my system ;) I did enjoy a scatter feed of Norma's back in the day, but being more health conscious than ever, I stay away.

I'm not the authority on pulled pork sandwiches, but I don't think you have to put coleslaw on that for it to be traditional or "classic." I don't think I even noticed anyone putting coleslaw on a pulled pork sandwich until the mid 1970s. I'm sure people have been doing it for a lot longer, but I didn't see it until then. So if you were to ask me, I'd say the classic is just the shredded pork on a bun, plain, and then you put what you want on it. Typical accompaniments in my mind are pickles, raw onions, pickled peppers, and a variety of hot, sweet, and vinegary sauces.
Oh, and I know this will be controversial, but cheese was never in the mix. The first time I saw cheese on pulled pork was in a bad chain restaurant. Quite frankly, as good as it sounds to put cheese on pulled pork, it's not a good combo from my perspective. You'd be better off putting mayonnaise on it, which I think some people may actually do, Miracle Whip to be exact.

I'm not sure to be honest. Lol
I visited this place while on vacation a few years back and I have to admit that it was pretty bad. I cannot lie. First of all, what's with the gravy? It takes more of chemicals than anything else. The prices are ridiculously high, so you may want to put in a couple of hours overtime if you plan on visit. The wedge fries were decent but nowhere near as good as people say and the damn place is rarely open. I'd rate it a 3 out of 10 at the most. By the way guys, you missed the fact that it also used to be called the Redi-Chef back in the day. I enjoyed the video. Keep it up guys, you're funny as anything.
One more thing. Who the heck pays for heir own food in review videos? The food should be free in exchange for the free publicity.
