I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun OG fallout is. I wish modern fallouts were made with this playstyle. They could be fun little side content to the big mainline games
But it is explained how character was chosen to go outside. In the game instruction (and sometimes on back of the box of some releases) there is text that few volunteers were drawing straws, and protagonis "won" or "lost" - depending on how you'd see it.
The thing I love about the beginning of Fallout 1, is that you're really not some special character. Chosen one literally just means the one that was chosen. They have chosen and sent people out before this point and they simply haven't returned. Ed, the pile of bones by the door is one of them. And there is another named Talius you can find and speak to.

If I have any complaints its that you dont have more video's like this, keep up the good work.
I look forward to seeing what you create in the future
I just stumbled on this gem of a video, youre a super underrated TH-camr. Hope you make it to 1 mil subs man!
Holy, how are you so underrated?! Also hell yeah baby, Fallout One positive review!
I just finished playing through fallout one about a week ago. There's a key for the elevator that brings you to the basement under the master and allows you to detonate a nuke they have just laying in storage.
Nice video, you're getting recommended so congrats! I love the animations, however I'd like to hear more than just the plot of the game
How does this not have more views the amount of effort put into this video is insane
This was an amazing video. Loved the commentary, loved the animations.
Great video dude! Loved the lil animations as well.
Fun fact: Decker is voiced by Keith David
Masterpiece of a video… good job Dave man.
10 seconds and I already abood this is quality I realy hope you can cep it up and most importantly have some funn doing it.
I clicked for the title lol
Quite possibly the best fucking game video I've watched in months.
Wow, this was so mind blowing for me. I've completed the game as well, much of which I've forgotten as it was a long time ago. Love the way you've done this and I found it really funny as well :) Earned yourself a sub, sir! I need to show this to my friends!
I like the fact that you are the third person the overseer sent to find the chip
As someone who has a hard time using any thing but heavy weapons in fallout 4 that clip of you shooting the overseer really connected with me
Really liked the self made edits, good production quality
Damn this style is unique and the channel itself is entertaining as hell I hope you blow up homie I’m glad u popped up in my reccomended
That was honestly a very solid video.
Great job!
