This was an absolutely wonderful and enlightening presentation and much needed as Taylor Swift mesmerizes her "Swifties" into a cult following that has evolved from the time her concerts were somewhat decent and innocent and approved and subsidized by many mothers . She has stated that one of her role models has been Madonna who is not Christian by any means. A recent concert found Taylor entwined with a snake, and over the years involved in several relationships that do not lead to marriage or children. Her concert last week in Seattle was attended by 60,000 on a Saturday and repeated on Sunday. Interviews with some who attended the concert reflected massive charges for tickets and mementos such as sweatshirts. Where does all of this money go? We are living in a period when people are having difficulty making ends meet and yet concerts like these glamorize her lifestyle with excessive charges to see her perform. The entertainment industry has been overtaken by Satan with many entertainers mocking God, embracing the occult, and admitting they have sold their souls for fame and fortune. Immodesty in dress is common with actresses trying to outdo each other to a point close to nakedness. We have taken the Bible out of our homes and schools and allowed the secular world in the forms of Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna , and yes Barbie to become the idols of this generation. A recent conversation with a young man indicated he is not looking for a mate with superficial values but one who will be a good mother to his children. Sadly, without a return to Christian values for both men and women our society is closer to hell than heaven.
In short, what the Western society has done for the last 300-500 years is that people with wealth, popularity, family ties, and/or political influences can turn or can become secular "saints" and be "loved" by the world. However, that "love" means bondage or bounded to the world. And, power held by people without both faith and grace from God sooner or later corrupts people; its an axiomatic effect, and the devil knows that and uses that knowledge to his advantage in order to prepare the bait. It will interesting for Pastor Vlad to discuss another topic on how the love for money and wealth can be demonic.
So, Iam a Christian, my problem is I work in a retail store & they constantly air secular & to me demonic, crass, lewd & vulgar songs. There is maybe one Toby 17:09 Mac song & one secular (Be thankful song)…if I listen to the words it mks me want to throw up. They’ve been playing these same songs over & over for at least 2/3 yrs. Do I find different job🤷♀️ ism not in agreement w the music yet my degree is in retail (mgmt/bus), clothing. I’ve been dealing w a lot of harassing perverted thoughts that are not my own & I believe it may be because of this music I’m forced to listen to 8hrs a day 5 days s week 🤷♀️. i used to listen to taylor swift but one day i stopped to listen to the lyrics i was singing over myself - primarily the song “champagne problems.” as a single christian woman who has dealt with a lot of rejection i realized these weren’t good words to be singing over myself. from there, the holy spirit revealed to me that some of the strongholds i had that were effecting my life were because i have listened to her music (and others like it) for many years. like pastor vlad said, something was planted in my subconscious. i encourage my brothers and sisters in christ to really use discernment when taking in all forms of media. remember who is in control of the industry.

This is SO spot on. She had me spellbound in my early 20s. I had a senior year high school breakup right around the time she started blowing up in popularity. 7 years I stayed in my misery and wept to her music. Played the game everytime the boy came back. Literally made my own music videos to her songs and felt she knew me well. And you know what, there was a lot of sleep paralysis, a lot of seeing and feeling things in my dreams that were demonic, and I had no understanding of what was going on. In 2015 I attended her 1989 tour and that was when God started waking me up. She had a set that was extremely disturbing and dark. You could feel the dark presence that entered the stadium. It was from that moment that I start slowly backing away from her and all thr other secular music. I started learning exactly the things you are sharing!! Something sinister lies in Taylor Swift and I cant stand to even so much as hear one of her songs. Especially the old ones. If I'm in a store that one comes on in, i have absolutely felt taken right back to that time where she ruled over me. The spiritual battle is HUGE these days. He didn’t warn her, and I prayed I said “Lord Jesus if this movie is something you don’t want me watching, then let me and my mother feel the same conviction in the beginning of the movie and let my mom say something about it and I’ll get up and leave immediately” well the first scene is a scene where they make the little girls look extremely gloomy as they play with baby dolls(almost making motherhood seem dark and gloomy) then Barbie comes in and she’s like a giant statue, and the little girls are amazed at her(reminded both my mom and I of idol worship-my mom specifically pointed out ishatar) and then after that the little girls start destroying their baby dolls (reminded me and my mom of child sacrifice/abortion) My mom didn’t say anything at that part, we just both thought the same thing and didn’t say anything, well two more minuets In the sexual innuendo joke happens my mom looks at me and says “Caleb I don’t think this is good to watch” and I said to the Lord “Thank you Jesus” and I stood up and walked out immediately and my mom followed me!!! It’s very much so in the music and even in kids movies/shows now protect yourself and listen to the Holy Spirit please because He is ALWAYS RIGHT!

I think as Christians, many of us are always looking for a sign if something is wrong or not to do and we don't always need signs - sometimes we do - yes, but many times, the 'signs' are in our common sense that God planted in our brains when we were born. Now, I know many ppl's brains have been seriously compromised due to illness, meds, mental illness, bias, and also sorry to say - sloth. Sometimes it's just good to rely on your own logic and common sense b/c that too is where God's voice can be found. I grew up listening to Taylor since I was 9 and I adored her, me and my cousin would sing her songs and then when I was about 13. Me and my best friend would sing her songs. This continued until a month ago. I was convicted by the Holy Spirit to watch what I was listening to, and to see if it was honoring God, so I went through all my music and deleted all of my secular music , I even had a song called demon host and I was like "whoa. " I didn't realize all that I was letting into my mind and spirit. So as I was deleting I came up to all my Taylor Swift music and I had almost every album. I started questioning if I wanted to delete them or not bc of all the bonds I had made with people through her music and then I realized I was idolizing her and was in bondage to her music. Anything that I have to second guess giving up for God? It's gone.

As a Christian mom I was very over protective about the children enjoying Hanna Montana and early Taylor Swift. It took me a long while to finally feel comfortable that they were not terribly unwholesome. Especially compared to what else was out there escalating. In the vein of "pick your battles" I acquiesced to allowing these "innocent" early versions of Miley and Taylor (also in this mix/era was "High School School", Demi Lovato, etc). I should have listened to my God given intuition quicker As we see where all these "innocent" entertainment idols have wound up, what they represent and influence now is so very unwholesome. I think (like with all of us) that God gave them opportunity to follow Him and to use their talents to honor Him. Miley had Taylor both had amazing wholesome inspiring pieces the produced. ...and then they changed. Pray for them, and pray for this generation. Especially the Prodigals. 🛐

I was her fan back in time. I tell you that SHE DOES !!! I don't know if it is the phenomena of casting spells but when you start listening to her songs you would FEEL THINGS. I stopped listening to Taylor Swift about a year ago. I have to admit it, I was really into her "reputation" era and all the songs befote then. I kept listening and adding her songs to my playlist. When I started to listen to songs like "I Did Something Bad" and "False God", I realized the evil meaning behind the songs, and the Holy Spirit re directed me and told me to stop. Now I realize that not only what you listen to has a major effect on spiritual consious, but the background of the artist who makes music. May all young Christians understand that you have the will to choose what to listen to.
Agree with you that we can choose what we listen to, and right now I pay attention to the lyrics more when it comes to mainstream artists and ask myself “do they offend the Lord?” I kept Tay’s albums all the way to 1989 but got rid of the ones after that. Even then, I skip Blank Space since the lyrics call sins ‘pleasures’.

I use to be a "Swiftie" like hard core. But one day God spoke to me and told me I was making Taylor Swift a idol in my life. So I ended up leaving the group and I knew I was obeying God. I still think she is talented and good at business but she has definitely gone woke (and into demonic stuff) and not living a godly life. I pray for her often. That one day she will come to know Jesus and through that bring others to know Him.

I attended a concert held by fans of her and I was kind of lukewarm aat that time but it was really weird cause there's this specific song of her where the fans will raise their hands as if hailing her and a picture of her edited in the famous the actor of Jesus' portrait is raised. Tbh, when I started listening to her music again these past days, I became lukewarm and the depression is creeping on me again. I just commented on this before I saw your comment. I used to be a big fan of her music - I don’t attend concerts though- but I have noticed that during the periods that I listen to her music I have very depressive episodes, and goes away as I listen to her less often.
Change all of your music to worship. It's really effective! And thank God, there is all sorts of worship. Especially these days, you can find every style being used by believers to celebrate God. I even get my metal/heavy rock fix from Church International, and it's all spirit-led, with words that affirm Jesus Christ as Lord.

I have a teenage son who just started a new job a few months ago. When the place closes, all the young people all clean and listen to music. One of the young women put on some Taylor swift music on a few different occasions and on every single occasion she plays it, my son says he feels physically ill and almost immediately after it is turned off, he feels better. He takes his ear buds now so he doesn’t have to listen to this music that makes him feel sick. There’s definitely something wicked about her tunes
@@poisonbliss7601 Thank you for your concern, however my son is healthy and sees the doctor for regular well child visits or if there is a need. I believe him when he says he felt sick anytime Taylor swift music came on and sick feeling went away as soon as she was turned off. Everyone is different and some are sensitive to things that others simply are not...including spiritual attacks/in multiple forms. Just as my middle son has sensitivity to certain sounds and it causes him physical discomfort to hear loud noises and certain tones and music. It's not an illness, it's a gift and helps them in godly discernment.

If you try to impress upon a young girl your religious beliefs in a way that is conflicting with something she does not believe is evil or even try to "make her see the light" as some Christians think they need to, you are only going to push her away and ruin your relationship with her. You can have your opinions about something she likes, but they are just opinions, nothing more, and trying to force her to change or make her be like you will only make her only want to be less like you. Real advise, say what you think and then let her do her own thing. It's her life, her choice, her free will. Not yours. It's not your duty to make her act a certain way, it's not even your duty to give her a compass in life. Your role as grandparents in this is to tell your life experience to future generations. And if your are afraid of the decisions they will make, then consider this: why would God give free will to any creature knowing full well what they will eventually do with it anyway regardless of who tries to force that creature to anything with it? Worrying about it will just create your own Hell.
I remember going to a concert a long time ago. No sense in saying the name of the group because I think they are all the same in the sense I’m talking about. The atmosphere was electric and the noise of 20,000 people in an arena 45 minutes before the concert started is hard to describe. When they took the stage it sounded like an explosion of noise……not just the music but from the crowd. I was actually looking around at the ceiling and thinking is this safe? Weird experience to say the least. I was already thinking this sounds great to be live music but something was off. When the lead singer came to a perfect angle of the stage to our section looking it seemed to be right at us like “I see you!” I’m not talking about an acknowledgment at the crowd but standing stock still staring for a period of time that was way too long….long enough the band had to circle back around for him to start singing again. At that moment a chill went up my spine and I said out loud…”wait a second? What?” I was 25 at the time and my friends that were right there picked up on the very strange feeling that came with that few seconds. Look we were just there to hear some “good sounding” music but within 30 minutes or so we left. There was a realization of there’s something more going on at these concerts. Sounds dumb to some people I’m sure of that but now that I’m older I can honestly say it was some kind of witchcraft or crowd influence. So nothing surprising to me about secular music being some kind of tool. God bless glorify The Lord Jesus Christ

My favoritband have been The killers. But I think they are evil. Sing a lot about the devil. I went to a consert in october 2010. When I came home my father pie blood and was more weak in his cancer. Died in february 2011. My mother followed me to a consert 2012. She had a stroke that year. And 2014 she died.

We, as real Christians, need to band together and sincerely pray for these artists in music and film. God is exposing more and more very evil and demonic happenings in this industry. We need to be bold, approach, and preach the gospel to these people no matter how extreme the pushback. One on my granddaughters really liked Taylor Swift and her music. A good while ago my granddaughter said she does not like Taylor Swift anymore because she made fun of Christians. I am thankful that she is so perceptive, and I know God helped her realize that is not the type of person or music that she should be associated with. (Thank you Jesus, for saving my 3 Granddaughters!)

Depending what churches you attend. They say, "stand in Holy places." That includes bars, clubs, and concerts." I've been lucky enough to think. Why pay for concerts so expensive that you can just play a CD 💿 (yeah, I'm old) and get the same music. But I see the events like Tomorrowland or EDC which is my style of music and wish I can attend. But I know that's the devil playground and probably end up like the beginning of the movie Blade and get sacrificed there with all the vampires. It's a sacrifice for me not to attend but I know I'll have my own events in the next life that will be much bigger, and better. You should advice your sister's that they shouldn't attend such places. Since it doesn't invite the spirit and may place them in real harm. They'll laugh and make fun. But they will see the hard way if necessary 😕

I have a growing awe of, and love for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Having realized Indian cullture through Yoga, and Ravi Shankar, I am daily reminded of our Fruit of the Holy Spirit, which would say I am comitted to my final life, walking through the pages of the Good Book. The Bible says we have a friend in Christ, who is closer than any brother and will never desert us. Nothing can take that away from me, not Powers, or Princes in high places. Not a day goes by that I don't thank Him. In these perilous times, to experience the Peace that surpasses all understanding, is truly something more valuable than anything we may desire. Truly He woulld not have us in a spirit of fear, but in power, Love, and soundness of mind. There is someone in my family who believes in horoscope, and others of my siblings have atheistic leanings. this state of affairs leaves me sad, but challenges me to grow my Faith. I never took magic serious, I just thought it was something crazy people believed in that could never ever effect anybody let alone myself, so before I became a Christian I found myself within a certain circle of people, my life was in turmoil, I was mentally and physically ill which no doctor could explain, I was drowning in sin and was literally in a mindless trance and my life spiraled so out of control I was left feeling absolutely helpless and decided that suicide was the only way out, and this is when I met the LORD CHRIST JESUS in spirit, and the moment I accepted him as my LORD and Saviour I literally felt those spirits lift of me, it was truly the most beautiful thing I have experienced in my whole life, please don't take magic and spells lightly, there are some wicked people in the world and they will use any means to get to you, always pray for you and your loved one against magic, peace and blessings 🙏❤

Thank you for sharing this Pastor Vlad. I listened to one song by Taylor Swift long ago and it was Love Story (Romeo and Juliet). Two other old songs I would often listen to as well. But I stopped as God was shifting my mind to newer perspectives. I read the news article about Taylor Swifts Era Tour and the amnesia. And for the first time I listened to her in years and i felt immediate chills from the clips of her eras tour video and the rest was history. I dont typically like listening to secular music anymore because of the words it speaks over my life.
We can all pray for her and her fans. I was a Swiftie.. until last month when the Holy Spirit finally convicted me. Taylor is a mainstream artist that a lot of my Christian friends followed (and many still do follow). I should've dissected her lyrics on a deeper level (False God, Blank Space, yntcd, Karma, etc). Regarding willow, I have a story about it, and I've seen people who shared similar experiences, including Angela Ucci in her Heaven & Healing podcast, which I recommend you to listen. Ever since willow came out, I would play it on repeat and never stop. Soon after, I found myself turning to tarot cards and divination (something I have always been against but during those moments I was strangely drawn to them). I don't blame her, I blame myself for listening. It took me four months to realize my mistake and pray for deliverance and leave divination behind - that obsessive feeling also went away. A lot of her fans are defensive saying she is a Christian. She mentioned it in her documentary, but her actions and anti-God lyrics suggest that her heart is far away from the Lord now. I believe she is a kind person - just not a believer. Her constant theme of 'revenge' and unforgiveness go against God.

I remember when I created soul ties with this one person who I barely even talk to but I was obsessed with him. I listened to Taylor Swift and a few other of those types of artists and would bawl my eyes out at the lyrics and it felt like there was an emotional turning in my soul. And when I broke those soul ties it was very hard to do. Music is very impactful.

Music and books ( not the good kind ) were my life , I was trapped and never thought I would stop listening to her music at all , it felt like a part of me was lost when I slowly the holy spirit changed my desire and I longer craved such music or books . I look at people on my news feed going to her concerts and obsessing over her, grown adults! Nonstop. The money people are willing to pay for tickets proves this is some kind of insane cult. Reminds me vividly of Josie and the Pussycats movie from 2001 where they talked about subliminal messaging in music. I used to be a HUGE “swiftie” however I am a Christian with a strong relationship with God and hearing more and more about her beliefs and also being convicted by the Holy Spirit on how I behaved while frequently listening to her made me stop. I begun to have an aggressive, selfish, sassy spirit on me the more and more I listened I found myself in awe of her and everything she did and it became a bit of an obsession, while I find her music catchy I completely cut off all of her music bc of this affect on my soul. I remember being a teen and I would attend Christian concerts. We the fans of Christian artists would never idolize them. There was prayer, and a great message from the artists, and yea there would be autograph signings, but the artists never sold themselves as an idol. Such a humbling down to earth experience. Totally different vibe between Christian and secular pop culture.

My boyfriend said one of his coworkers spent $1,300 on one ticket and I started researching about Taylor because I never liked her music. The whole thing about relationships and breaking up is just silly in my opinion. My family has never like Taylor, however my daughter listens to Spotify and she started playing Taylor and I told her to turn it off. She is 10, but I keep telling her that God is the only thing she needs to listen to.

I have been telling my daughters that they are not allowed to listen to any of her songs. When they asked me why, I couldn’t give them a firm reason. It’s just something that I knew in my soul. I just would call it discernment. As Christians, I told them we shouldn’t be listening to secular music, but there’s something especially about her songs that I don’t like. I didn’t take time to research her or anything like that. And I’ve never listened to one of her songs all the way to the end; I always turn them off when they come on. Regardless, there was something that was not sitting right with my soul. Now I understand why.
Pastor Vlad, I wanted to clarify your reference to Hinduism as an "Indian" religion. India has so very many Christians as well as people of other 'faiths' like Islam, Bhuddism, Jains etc. Hinduism is a major religion but certainly not the dominant one. India is officially a secular country and has very strong Christian Communities across several states which are actively bringing more people to Christ. As a Christian and an Indian I just wanted to make that distinction clear so that your followers don't misunderstand Hinduism as being synonymous with India as a nation. 😊

I just found a short video of Taylor at an award show, and she was listening to an artist thanking her producer and others for her award and as she spoke, Taylor cheered with her -- UNTIL the artist thanked God. Taylor frowned and a darkness came over her face as the woman said "Without God none of this would be possible," and Taylor actually shook her head "No."
This is interesting because I'm 63 years old & may not be a "Swifty", but I have listened to her music. She's about the same age as my own two kids and I admit I've thought of her as a wholesome alternative to everything else. I don’t pay much attention to pop culture, but I’ve known of Taylor Swift growing up. Listening to her music was sort of a meme before memes existed because most of her songs were about failed relationships. I do remember recently having the thought that she suddenly seemed to be so famous now, even before dating Travis Kelce. I didn’t give it much thought until now but I always thought her rise to current stardom was rather sudden and unusual. I saw this video in my feed but didn’t pay it any mind at first because I was exhausted from seeing this woman in all of my news feeds, the majority of which is sports. However, earlier today I saw a headline saying that Swift was being accused of witchcraft and I immediately remembered this video. I wouldn’t surprise me at all if Swift even just dabbled with witchcraft, even if she isn’t a self proclaimed witch. “You shall know them by their fruit.” The dabblers are the worst tho. They’ll try it to see if it works and then influence others to do the same without understanding what’s going on.
And to think she's suducing Travis Kelce of the Kansas city chiefs she's probably already got him where she wants him. I pray for him to see the evil and deception that is written all over her.

This was very good! We listen to many different music styles with our teen and adult children at home. I mentioned the other day while listening to some of their music that some of it sounds like self worship instead of God worship. Lyrics like “I’m unstoppable, I’m so powerful”etc. It seemed to suddenly dawn on me in that light despite having listened to the same songs before. We pray to grow true conviction in our children. One of the best ways we’ve found to do it is by spending a lot of time together (we homeschooled) and them seeing our reactions to the things of everyday life. Will we respond in faith? We are living in a period when people are having difficulty making ends meet and yet concerts like these glamorize her lifestyle with excessive charges to see her perform. The entertainment industry has been overtaken by Satan with many entertainers mocking God, embracing the occult, and admitting they have sold their souls for fame and fortune. Immodesty in dress is common with actresses trying to outdo each other to a point close to nakedness. We have taken the Bible out of our homes and schools and allowed the secular world in the forms of Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna , and yes Barbie to become the idols of this generation. A recent conversation with a young man indicated he is not looking for a mate with superficial values but one who will be a good mother to his children. Sadly, without a return to Christian values for both men and women our society is closer to hell than heaven.
In short, what the Western society has done for the last 300-500 years is that people with wealth, popularity, family ties, and/or political influences can turn or can become secular "saints" and be "loved" by the world. However, that "love" means bondage or bounded to the world.
And, power held by people without both faith and grace from God sooner or later corrupts people; its an axiomatic effect, and the devil knows that and uses that knowledge to his advantage in order to prepare the bait.

So, Iam a Christian, my problem is I work in a retail store & they constantly air secular & to me demonic, crass, lewd & vulgar songs. I used to be a HUGE Swiftie until the Lord opened my eyes to all of the darker elements of her music and public persona. I realized that I had started worshipping her and saying things like "She saved me" which was absolute blasphemy. And no one should know more song lyrics than Bible verses!! This is SO spot on. She had me spellbound in my early 20s. I had a senior year high school breakup right around the time she started blowing up in popularity. 7 years I stayed in my misery and wept to her music. Played the game everytime the boy came back. Literally made my own music videos to her songs and felt she knew me well. And you know what, there was a lot of sleep paralysis, a lot of seeing and feeling things in my dreams that were demonic, and I had no understanding of what was going on. In 2015 I attended her 1989 tour and that was when God started waking me up. She had a set that was extremely disturbing and dark. You could feel the dark presence that entered the stadium. It was from that moment that I start slowly backing away from her and all thr other secular music. I started learning exactly the things you are sharing!! He didn’t warn her, and I prayed I said “Lord Jesus if this movie is something you don’t want me watching, then let me and my mother feel the same conviction in the beginning of the movie and let my mom say something about it and I’ll get up and leave immediately” well the first scene is a scene where they make the little girls look extremely gloomy as they play with baby dolls(almost making motherhood seem dark and gloomy) then Barbie comes in and she’s like a giant statue, and the little girls are amazed at her(reminded both my mom and I of idol worship-my mom specifically pointed out ishatar) and then after that the little girls start destroying their baby dolls (reminded me and my mom of child sacrifice/abortion)

I think as Christians, many of us are always looking for a sign if something is wrong or not to do and we don't always need signs - sometimes we do - yes, but many times, the 'signs' are in our common sense that God planted in our brains when we were born. Now, I know many ppl's brains have been seriously compromised due to illness, meds, mental illness, bias, and also sorry to say - sloth. Sometimes it's just good to rely on your own logic and common sense b/c that too is where God's voice can be found. This includes research too b/c God will help us to discern things in a more broad/general way but he doesn't always give us details to every little thing b/c for one, it's not necessary and is also very time-consuming if it was.
God knows we need our time to work, earn a living, get our sleep and eat and run errands and so froth, so we don't have time to chase down every sign but we also can think for ourselves by not just reading the bible but reading and researching documents/ court and police records, etc - if we want the real truth of our daily news in society. Have we not been shown enough times that mainstream and social media is full of lies and propaganda? If film reviews on your best Christian YT shows tell you about this movie (Barbie) and if you keep up w/ how social engineering works, you should know how to NOT go see this film if you're w/ a child under 13 esp. I grew up listening to Taylor since I was 9 and I adored her, me and my cousin would sing her songs and then when I was about 13. Me and my best friend would sing her songs. This continued until a month ago. I was convicted by the Holy Spirit to watch what I was listening to, and to see if it was honoring God, so I went through all my music and deleted all of my secular music , I even had a song called demon host and I was like "whoa. " I didn't realize all that I was letting into my mind and spirit. So as I was deleting I came up to all my Taylor Swift music and I had almost every album. I started questioning if I wanted to delete them or not bc of all the bonds I had made with people through her music and then I realized I was idolizing her and was in bondage to her music. Anything that I have to second guess giving up for God? It's gone.

As a Christian mom I was very over protective about the children enjoying Hanna Montana and early Taylor Swift.
It took me a long while to finally feel comfortable that they were not terribly unwholesome. Especially compared to what else was out there escalating.
In the vein of "pick your battles" I acquiesced to allowing these "innocent" early versions of Miley and Taylor (also in this mix/era was "High School School", Demi Lovato, etc).
I should have listened to my God given intuition quicker
As we see where all these "innocent" entertainment idols have wound up, what they represent and influence now is so very unwholesome.
I think (like with all of us) that God gave them opportunity to follow Him and to use their talents to honor Him. Miley had Taylor both had amazing wholesome inspiring pieces the produced.

I was her fan back in time. I tell you that SHE DOES !!! I don't know if it is the phenomena of casting spells but when you start listening to her songs you would FEEL THINGS. Before I knew Jesus I was literally obsessed with her ( now I'm ashamed about it). But once I received my JESUS I realized just how much of a slave I became to her music especially the lyrics. I stopped listening to Taylor Swift about a year ago. I have to admit it, I was really into her "reputation" era and all the songs befote then. I kept listening and adding her songs to my playlist. When I started to listen to songs like "I Did Something Bad" and "False God", I realized the evil meaning behind the songs, and the Holy Spirit re directed me and told me to stop. Now I realize that not only what you listen to has a major effect on spiritual consious, but the background of the artist who makes music. May all young Christians understand that you have the will to choose what to listen to.
Agree with you that we can choose what we listen to, and right now I pay attention to the lyrics more when it comes to mainstream artists and ask myself “do they offend the Lord?” I kept Tay’s albums all the way to 1989 but got rid of the ones after that. Even then, I skip Blank Space since the lyrics call sins ‘pleasures’.

I attended a concert held by fans of her and I was kind of lukewarm aat that time but it was really weird cause there's this specific song of her where the fans will raise their hands as if hailing her and a picture of her edited in the famous the actor of Jesus' portrait is raised. Tbh, when I started listening to her music again these past days, I became lukewarm and the depression is creeping on me again. I just commented on this before I saw your comment. I used to be a big fan of her music - I don’t attend concerts though- but I have noticed that during the periods that I listen to her music I have very depressive episodes, and goes away as I listen to her less often.
Change all of your music to worship. It's really effective! And thank God, there is all sorts of worship. Especially these days, you can find every style being used by believers to celebrate God. I even get my metal/heavy rock fix from Church International, and it's all spirit-led, with words that affirm Jesus Christ as Lord.

My childhood best friend became a huge fan of Swift's music. It was then that I began to witness an alarming transformation in her personality. Back then I did not entirely know about personalities or the demonic influence as such. I only knew she was manifesting an *entirely* different person I could not recognize or support. I have a teenage son who just started a new job a few months ago. When the place closes, all the young people all clean and listen to music.
One of the young women put on some Taylor swift music on a few different occasions and on every single occasion she plays it, my son says he feels physically ill and almost immediately after it is turned off, he feels better. He takes his ear buds now so he doesn’t have to listen to this music that makes him feel sick. There’s definitely something wicked about her tunes

I believe him when he says he felt sick anytime Taylor swift music came on and sick feeling went away as soon as she was turned off. Everyone is different and some are sensitive to things that others simply are not...including spiritual attacks/in multiple forms. Just as my middle son has sensitivity to certain sounds and it causes him physical discomfort to hear loud noises and certain tones and music. It's not an illness, it's a gift and helps them in godly discernment.
He gets the feeling from her music, it don’t get it twisted, it’s all music. Even theses “Christian” bands have sold out as well. Be careful what you listen to, and what you watch.

If you try to impress upon a young girl your religious beliefs in a way that is conflicting with something she does not believe is evil or even try to "make her see the light" as some Christians think they need to, you are only going to push her away and ruin your relationship with her. You can have your opinions about something she likes, but they are just opinions, nothing more, and trying to force her to change or make her be like you will only make her only want to be less like you. Real advise, say what you think and then let her do her own thing. It's her life, her choice, her free will. Not yours. It's not your duty to make her act a certain way, it's not even your duty to give her a compass in life. Your role as grandparents in this is to tell your life experience to future generations. And if your are afraid of the decisions they will make, then consider this: why would God give free will to any creature knowing full well what they will eventually do with it anyway regardless of who tries to force that creature to anything with it? Worrying about it will just create your own Hell.
I remember going to a concert a long time ago. No sense in saying the name of the group because I think they are all the same in the sense I’m talking about. The atmosphere was electric and the noise of 20,000 people in an arena 45 minutes before the concert started is hard to describe. When they took the stage it sounded like an explosion of noise……not just the music but from the crowd. I was actually looking around at the ceiling and thinking is this safe? Weird experience to say the least. I was already thinking this sounds great to be live music but something was off. When the lead singer came to a perfect angle of the stage to our section looking it seemed to be right at us like “I see you!” I’m not talking about an acknowledgment at the crowd but standing stock still staring for a period of time that was way too long….long enough the band had to circle back around for him to start singing again. At that moment a chill went up my spine and I said out loud…”wait a second? What?” I was 25 at the time and my friends that were right there picked up on the very strange feeling that came with that few seconds. Look we were just there to hear some “good sounding” music but within 30 minutes or so we left. There was a realization of there’s something more going on at these concerts. Sounds dumb to some people I’m sure of that but now that I’m older I can honestly say it was some kind of witchcraft or crowd influence. So nothing surprising to me about secular music being some kind of tool. God bless glorify The Lord Jesus Christ

My favoritband have been The killers. But I think they are evil. Sing a lot about the devil. I went to a consert in october 2010. When I came home my father pie blood and was more weak in his cancer. Died in february 2011. My mother followed me to a consert 2012. She had a stroke that year. And 2014 she died.

One on my granddaughters really liked Taylor Swift and her music. A good while ago my granddaughter said she does not like Taylor Swift anymore because she made fun of Christians. Why pay for concerts so expensive that you can just play a CD 💿 (yeah, I'm old) and get the same music. But I see the events like Tomorrowland or EDC which is my style of music and wish I can attend. But I know that's the devil playground and probably end up like the beginning of the movie Blade and get sacrificed there with all the vampires. It's a sacrifice for me not to attend but I know I'll have my own events in the next life that will be much bigger, and better.

I read the news article about Taylor Swifts Era Tour and the amnesia. And for the first time I listened to her in years and i felt immediate chills from the clips of her eras tour video and the rest was history.
I dont typically like listening to secular music anymore because of the words it speaks over my life.
We can all pray for her and her fans. I was a Swiftie.. until last month when the Holy Spirit finally convicted me. Taylor is a mainstream artist that a lot of my Christian friends followed (and many still do follow). I should've dissected her lyrics on a deeper level (False God, Blank Space, yntcd, Karma, etc). Regarding willow, I have a story about it, and I've seen people who shared similar experiences, including Angela Ucci in her Heaven & Healing podcast, which I recommend you to listen. Ever since willow came out, I would play it on repeat and never stop. Soon after, I found myself turning to tarot cards and divination (something I have always been against but during those moments I was strangely drawn to them). I don't blame her, I blame myself for listening. It took me four months to realize my mistake and pray for deliverance and leave divination behind - that obsessive feeling also went away. A lot of her fans are defensive saying she is a Christian. She mentioned it in her documentary, but her actions and anti-God lyrics suggest that her heart is far away from the Lord now. I believe she is a kind person - just not a believer. Her constant theme of 'revenge' and unforgiveness go against God.

I remember being a teen and I would attend Christian concerts. We the fans of Christian artists would never idolize them. There was prayer, and a great message from the artists, and yea there would be autograph signings, but the artists never sold themselves as an idol. Such a humbling down to earth experience. My boyfriend said one of his coworkers spent $1,300 on one ticket and I started researching about Taylor because I never liked her music. The whole thing about relationships and breaking up is just silly in my opinion. My family has never like Taylor, however my daughter listens to Spotify and she started playing Taylor and I told her to turn it off. She is 10, but I keep telling her that God is the only thing she needs to listen to.

I have been telling my daughters that they are not allowed to listen to any of her songs. When they asked me why, I couldn’t give them a firm reason. It’s just something that I knew in my soul. I just would call it discernment. As Christians, I told them we shouldn’t be listening to secular music, but there’s something especially about her songs that I don’t like. I didn’t take time to research her or anything like that. And I’ve never listened to one of her songs all the way to the end; I always turn them off when they come on. Regardless, there was something that was not sitting right with my soul. Now I understand why.
Pastor Vlad, I wanted to clarify your reference to Hinduism as an "Indian" religion. India has so very many Christians as well as people of other 'faiths' like Islam, Bhuddism, Jains etc. Hinduism is a major religion but certainly not the dominant one. India is officially a secular country and has very strong Christian Communities across several states which are actively bringing more people to Christ.
As a Christian and an Indian I just wanted to make that distinction clear so that your followers don't misunderstand Hinduism as being synonymous with India as a nation. 😊

I just found a short video of Taylor at an award show, and she was listening to an artist thanking her producer and others for her award and as she spoke, Taylor cheered with her -- UNTIL the artist thanked God. Taylor frowned and a darkness came over her face as the woman said "Without God none of this would be possible," and Taylor actually shook her head "No."
This is interesting because I'm 63 years old & may not be a "Swifty", but I have listened to her music. I don’t pay much attention to pop culture, but I’ve known of Taylor Swift growing up. Listening to her music was sort of a meme before memes existed because most of her songs were about failed relationships.
I do remember recently having the thought that she suddenly seemed to be so famous now, even before dating Travis Kelce. I didn’t give it much thought until now but I always thought her rise to current stardom was rather sudden and unusual. I saw this video in my feed but didn’t pay it any mind at first because I was exhausted from seeing this woman in all of my news feeds, the majority of which is sports. However, earlier today I saw a headline saying that Swift was being accused of witchcraft and I immediately remembered this video.

A few years ago, I remember that rapper who had an outdoor concert, with the open mouth of some demonic portal, and the sheer force of the crowd was causing people there to be pushed together, losing their breath, fainting, and some died!! This was 100% demonic, from beginning to end!!
Not just her. If you look at the patterns and history of the musical industrial complex, they tend to scout out a pretty face with a decent voice that they can mold. This person could be male or female, usually a late teen. They may have even written some of their own songs, and at first, the industry will pamper and shower them and their parents and give them whatever they want, and then the money starts flowing in. They have to seduce the parents as well to get them on board by signing consent over their kids. To me, this is like a free will offering of their children to baal.
They become an overnight sensation, skyrocket up the billboards (which they control), get played on all the radio stations again and again and again (which they also control and is a technique of mind kontrol). They may even put some songs in hit kids movies and then may even graduate to grown up movies and could even play an acting role to get more recognition. They tour around the earth and sell out every seat (also under their control).
Now that this person has a following and they've become accustomed to a certain life style is when they come to them and say "ya know, you've become successful, but you'll forever be associated as a kid and only viewed and listened to by kids. If you'd like to advance your career, you need to shed that "good girl" or "innocent boy" image and step into the adult arena. Here's some song we've written for you to sing. Here's the videos you'll be in, heres the costumes you'll wear, heres the imagery and choreography you'll participate in. All you have to do is sign here since you're not a kid anymore, we need your consent." They then literally sign their souls over. And not just on paper but they enter into the seedy and dark underworld of secret societies, pagan rituals and partivipate in some very heinous and criminal activities. Now they're owned and are as an agent of evil to freely allow themselves to be used however they're needed to be. And in exchange, they have all the riches and fame in the world they could've ever dreamed of while they demonically enchant their fans who dont realize this till its too late.
Most of these people have been groomed since childhood into the "entertainment business" and have literally been exposed and desensitized and taught how to live in the celebrity drug and satanist induced world of influencer. In fact. They even tell you outloud and are referred to as "influencers"

I was addicted to drugs for 25 years and I listened to a lot of wordly music. I felt abnormally attracted by female pop singers like Taylor S and especially Selena G.
The lyrics and gestures they have are designed to charm and seduce people to the sound of their music.
Their songs are playing everywhere on radio and in businesses but the spirit behind the music can be evil and desensitize the listeners to God's will for us.
They project an image of success through their career achievements but their popularity has a dark side...
One day I felt sick during a Ramstein concert like something completely drained my energy.
Today I have been sober for 2 years and I try to stay away from wordly music and other suggestive media.

Interesting. My 54 year old sister took her daughters to the concert. My sister, rather than having amnesia, couldn’t get the songs and memories out of her head. Maybe the spells effect believers with amnesia and those who aren’t born again as an obsession.

This was very good! We listen to many different music styles with our teen and adult children at home. I mentioned the other day while listening to some of their music that some of it sounds like self worship instead of God worship. Lyrics like “I’m unstoppable, I’m so powerful”etc. It seemed to suddenly dawn on me in that light despite having listened to the same songs before.
We pray to grow true conviction in our children. One of the best ways we’ve found to do it is by spending a lot of time together (we homeschooled) and them seeing our reactions to the things of everyday life. Will we respond in faith? More is caught than taught!
