They are such good examples of just what it looks like to truly love the Lord in the business & keep to your own & carry about with this quiet strength. They’re brilliant. Both of them. I love them both. They to me are like how Joni Mitchell & James Taylor are to others.

    The reason there is a “Steffany effect” is because the genuine love of the Lord just pours out of her. Through the way she talks, expresses herself and how she musically worships. I understand what she means by trying to remove the visual aspect of her videos but seeing her heart being poured out like alabaster gives us all a great standard to try to reach in loving the Lord with that much fire and passion. Love you guys and love you big Steffany you’re an inspiration.

    Let me start by saying... I do not comment on videos. Like ever. But I wanted to share this after hearing you both speak about turning off TH-cam//Videos of worship. It reminded me of the summer of 2015. My husband + I went to a Bethel Worship Night. Before the service started, I remember seeing Baby Wonder in her pink headphones protecting her tiny ears! I had yet to feel my first born in my tummy... and I remember seeing Wonder and praying. Lord, I cannot wait for mine. When it all started, I got my very pregnant body down into the floor. On my face. However I could manage to be down there. My husband said "wait you're not going to stand and see what happens?" I replied... this is where I will see what happens. He knew immediately my heart was where it needed to be. I didn't see most of what took place. But I saw who I was there for AND I felt my baby in my tummy for the First Time down on that dirty theater floor. Barefoot and pregnant and covered in tears. He is the point.

    • @VanessaRaphael
      @VanessaRaphael 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      There is no such thing as “her level”. You have everything inside of you because God is inside of you when you understand that you won’t look to other people.
      But yes she has the freedom to feel her feelings which is great.

      @VanessaRaphael 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@lizmarie3680 “her level of intimacy” who is measuring ?
      We can be inspired for sure but this is not a competition and humans are often naive to think someone else “does their relationship with God better” this is why the Bible says to not be like the Pharisees praying in the streets and be hey look at me I got it. Communion with God is holy and it’s really a business between us and God and not a competition.

    • @lizmarie3680
      @lizmarie3680 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      @@VanessaRaphael No, there are definitely people who are closer to God than others. You can’t avoid reading your Bible, neglect prayer and live your life for yourself and expect to know God. That’s not how it works. Why do you think God used certain people and not others? Because they were consistent and faithful to Him. There’s many scriptures that speak to this and none that speak to your argument. It’s not a competition but it is possible for someone to be closer to God than another. That’s why it says don’t be unequally yolked. That applies to believers not yoking with unbelievers but also not to yolk with those who do not walk with God in the same capacity that you do. If you want more scriptures, I’m happy to send them to you.

      My testimony is that after years, God set me free from the spirit of depression! He revealed I was dealing with a spirit of death. Someone prayed with me and had me confess that I had agreed with my mouth, my words, over and over. I renounced my agreement to both and denounced it as not from the Spirit of the living God. I broke the legality of allowing them in my life. So I pray that God reveals His great love for you, to you, and reveals who He really is, and who you really are, and the power of His blood, and comforts you and takes you into His loving Father's arms! I speak the freedom over you which His word declares. That Christ has set you free, and you are free indeed! May He carry you through everything! God bless you, little brother!

I’ve cried plenty and have had plenty encounters and of course just because we cry isn’t always an indication of truly intimacy but when I see someone like her cry when she speaks of the Lord I say to myself I want that sort of intimacy with you Jesus. I think we all cry about him for different reasons. I cry about him because of how overwhelmed I am that he redeemed me for my past sins when I realize how much he loves. I don’t often trust Christians who grew up in the church but I would trust someone if they cried about God or Jesus. I often meet people in the church but don’t meet people with a genuine relationship with God. It is not embarrassing - it shows you really have a relationship

    • @trynnagetcloser
      @trynnagetcloser 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Well, personally I grew up in a Protestant church and now I am going through the sacraments at a Catholic Church. The world Catholic itself means universal. The Catholic Church was the first church established then after Martin Luther a variety of denominations have formed. For me stating that I’m Catholic tells you many things ( I believe in the holy trinity, the Eucharist, etc) There are many “Christian” denominations that don’t believe that Christ was God as well as other foundational Christian or followers of The Way beliefs. So I just use it as an indicator so you may know even if at a surface level the beliefs I am coming in with. But I am a Christian, 100%

    I’m halfway through this podcast and am enjoying it immensely. But my favorite thing about this is that it just feels like a dinner table. There’s interruptions, people are coming and going, the host even offers Steffany something to eat. It’s not so structured that it feels disingenuous but not so chaotic that it’s distracting. It’s just flowing and full and edifying. I absolutely love the culture that it sets and I appreciate it so much. The discussion on boundaries is eye opening and something I’ll be praying and ruminating on. Thank you for sharing and being so faithful!

    I like to call her Pastor Steffany, she has pastored me so well with the little I have come across from her. Worship and interview alike. She has a shepherd's heart, so tender and so brave. I am grateful to have encountered a soul like hers in my youth. Truly an expression of Jesus Christ. Thank you Will and Hart. Your sacrifice, obedience and vulnerability are opening doors for many to encounter Jesus. May healing and wholeness abound.

    Boundaries are something that you can enforce regardless of what other people do. Boundaries in parenting are an opportunity to define family values. Gods boundaries pertain to His holiness. Let your yes be yes and your no be no

      @@shanleecaulfield7064whatever you walked away from, regardless of what it was ‘called’, was the right thing to do because it was some kind of wrong doctrinal religious system.
      A true supernatural conversion experience with Jesus is the only real Christianity.
      God will lead us out of the wrong thing to get us into the truth.
      No one meets Jesus for real & walks away. Meeting Him for real forever dissolves the desire to walk away.
      *yes we can backslide & we can even become angry with God & closed off for a time…but those are our conflicted emotional issues He wants to heal…not a departure from legitimate new creation convert salvation.

    She has a beautiful soul. As someone who was deeply abused by my parents, I have to work on my heart posture with people like this because I used to have envy towards people like this. There’s a part of me that always judges people who seem to have life filled with love from others because so many of God’s people don’t have that - but if she is chosen by God then she deeply understands suffering, pain and rejection. I have to talk to God about the envy in my heart. He knows this about me. She seems like a truly beautiful person.

Just the tidbit of how the Holy Spirit talked with her about nursing her baby in the middle of the night. What a blessing to young moms if she were to write a devotional for young mothers. At the end when asked how she has time for the Lord when taking care of her children, I was reminded of the story and book from Brother Lawrence: The Practice of The Presence of God, who found how to live in His presence all the time while working in the kitchen of a monastary. He was a very simple man but got to have a correspondance with Mothers superiors of convents... to teach them.... and a great influence on priests and bishops. " Brother Lawrence was a man of humble beginnings who discovered the greatest secret of living in the kingdom of God here on earth. It is the art of "practicing the presence of God in one single act that does not end." He often stated that it is God who paints Himself in the depths of our soul. We must merely open our hearts to receive Him and His loving presence. For centuries this unparalleled classic has given both blessing and instruction to those who can be content with nothing less than knowing God in all His majesty and feeling His loving presence throughout each simple day."

    The unattractive potters that are beholding the string of pearls plant reminds me of the treasure we hold in our earthen clay vessels. The things that matter for life to grow are the conditions of the soil, the light, the life-giving water and oxygen, not the container of which they are in. Prophetically too, plants produce harvest and fragrant aromas, the beauty afterwards is awe-inspiring and rewarding to the planter. Fruitfulness reflected in plants that cause seeds from the harvest. Prophetic Plant-ology 101 🙌
