Thanks for this helpful video. I'm inspired to tuck in ,now that know it makes legs look longer. Again, thanks for the infos.... I've learned it from you only.... Wish you all the best.
@@EmilyElizabethMay Making the world a better place, one pretentious douche bag at a time. I love the way there a tutorial on how to be a phony. P.S. If you can't read this, you should use your no-script eyeglasses.
I’d love to see you do this on a super curvy person. I have a big bust and curvy hips with a small waist. When I try to half tuck, the sides just create a straight line from the outside of my bust to the top of my hips and my waist disappears and it turns my torso into a box shape. I’ve always loved the half tuck look but I feel like it’s best for people with longer vertical lines.
It can be really hard with thick knits! If you jeans aren’t high enough, or your knit isn’t long enough, it always makes it hard as well. Sometimes I just let my super thick knits sit on top. Or I half tuck it really messy and if it falls out it falls out 😌🥰♥️
It does, no problem!! ♥️ the only time it might come out is if you are trying to tuck in a top that is cropped and you don’t have a lot of material to tuck in. Or if you are trying it with a extra thick chunky knit, they can sometimes be hard depending on the trousers you are wearing. But play around with it with different outfits, it can make a huge difference 🥰♥️ xx
Emile, thanks for the advise, still, I'm in doubt with belts, especially with skirts, and using large and thick belts. Skirts that I'm not thinking talking
Thank you, I'm a male and all of my polo shirts end up with pinholes around the belt buckle area, this will allow me to elegantly tuck in the front to stop this pinholing while not tucking in the entire shirt and looking like an elderly man
The struggle is real but even when it is wrong it still looks better. Otherwise I have curves that get lost. ? With jeans and loops would you put on a belt or just leave as is.
It may look better in front, but the legs will still look unflattering at the back. 🤷🏻♀️ So I always tuck both front & back. The back view is still as important. IMO
I hate all this half tuck stuff cos I just don't want to stuff a bunch of fabrics into my already fat belly area. I find wearing shorter tops work better.

So thankful she didn’t say the word “basic” twenty times! Finally a fashion expert who isn’t annoying!!😊
I am unable to do this with a really thick knit :( it keeps popping out of my denims

I also had this problem, but a good tip is taking the bottom of the jumper/knit and tucking it underneath your bra. It works try it 🥰
@@moeshfiqohhaupt8502 thank you will try it
@@EmilyElizabethMay then it makes me look big hahaha but thank you for the tips xx
Thank you 🙏! I’ve lost weight and some of my shirts are still a couple sizes to large. This helps bring in some of the extra material on my tops!
Thank you for this tutorial! You explained it so well!
everytime ive tried to half tuck my shirt i always tucked in WAY too much and i never folded it over- tysm for the vid!!!
You’re welcome lovely! 🙏🏽💗 glad you found it helpful x
Where is your sweater from? its so pretty
Someone taught me to tuck bulky jumpers under FIRST and then front tuck it, so you don’t have heaps of bulk at the front - game changer!!
I continue to struggle with this seemingly simple technique. Perhaps I’m trying too hard! Please shows tips on wearing belts 🌹
So simple, but helpful!
What is the purpose of tucking off to the side instead of in the centre?
This was great! I rewatched your styling jeans and boots video yesterday :)
This was damn helpful!!! Thank you so much for the tutorial
Which is better fully tucked or half tuck to make ur legs look longer?
Does that stay like that??? Thankyou for the video !

The thing is it might look good. But it only lasts a few moments until you sit down or move.
Thanks it helped me a lot😊

I half tucked before your mother was born. Just like I wore jeans and cutoffs before it was cool.😂
Oh this looks faster tge what im doing rn. Rn I just tuck everything and pull out the back and sides😂
Thanks a lot 👍🌟🌹
It makes me look blockier and I have a waist
👍🏻❤️
I have been doing it wrong for years 😱
I am 6 feet tall...hardly ever can I tuck anything ;)
I hate all this half tuck stuff cos I just don't want to stuff a bunch of fabrics into my already fat belly area. I find wearing shorter tops work better.
Tucking in doesn’t work when you have a big belly 😂
Half tucks will be a 'thing' that when you look back on it yrs from now? You will cringe. It does NOT flatter even the skinniest girl. NOPE.
I like all the tucks except that full half tuck. Looks sloppy. But only my opinion. To each his/her own.
