- The most common reason why peace lily plant leaves turn brown is from too much lighting. The peace lily is a plant that originates on the jungle floor and doesn’t get a lot of lighting. It gets rolling sunlight often on throughout the day. This means that you cannot put this house plant too close to a window. Consider putting it around 8 to 10 feet away from the window inside your house.
The fact that the peace lily needs so little lighting makes it a awesome beginner house plant. Most people battle not giving their plants adequate amounts of lighting whereas this plant demands very little. It is the ultimate perfect beginner house plant. It also filters the air at an amazing rate.

Mine is next to my 100 l aquarium. Its leaves tended to turn brown. I potted it into aquarium soil and I think it didn’t have enough aeriation. After transpotting it into regular flower soil mix with perlite, it has been regenerated. I also spray it every second day with aquarium water. Thus, I can delay watering for every second week with the pre aquarium filter’s cleaning remnants. It loves it.

Thanks for the helpful hints on taking care of my Peace Lilly plant. I started seeing brown tips, Direct sunlight was too much light for the location. Where I had it.😓
What about keeping it outside under a covered patio? Is that ok?

Could you do a video on the peace lily spadix turning black for seeds or fungus? There isn’t much out there to figure out the flower/ spadix problems and would be amazing to know if I have bought a healthy plant or have to spray with fungicide. Please and thank you
My tips and leaves are all brown I don’t think it’s lighting because my previous plant did well in this area. No direct sunlight. Do I cut all the leaves off? I think it’s the tap water.

I have had so wo so many peace Lilly's I have had so many from furneals....they all dies...I dint know what I am doing wrong .... I even tried little one they die what am I doing wrong .... and I have about 50 plants. And they are all doing well but peace Lilly's...I love the but they dont love me. ...

I regrew mine in water and they no longer like dirt but they grow bloom the die and cycle repeats. I only use spring bottled water
Hi...I have 2 peace lily...in my bathroom...but yesterday I found a yellow leaf...I use water bottle...maybe I will put them both in water...Peace Lily in water are beauitful...
I have trimmed the browning leaves so much that just isn’t much left to my poor peace lily. I will try different water but my hopes are fading.
It's winter where I am and one of mine gets humidity almost every night and one doesn't. The one that gets a humidifier is thriving. Maybe try that. I came to this video for my other one and think I need to add it there.
Mine is inside with no direct sun and It has brown tips
My 2 peace lilly both had brown tips had to start using spring water, doesn't look that nice with all them brown tips.
