hey, thanks for the helpful video. random but do you think that the new modem’s help deliver faster speeds/are more compatible with new routers therefore a must to replace them?

Yes, it should be a must to get a new modem every couple years. Spectrum doesn't normally let customers know when their modems are outdated, though there have been times when spectrum would mail out new modems to specific areas (usually due to lawsuits).
