- If you play Elden Ring PvP then without a doubt you encountered many different blue phantoms.
What most of them have in common is utter cluelessness - sometimes to the point they're helping literal cheaters.

There should only be one blue allowed per world. Its stupid how you can spend ten minutes trying to turn a 3v1 into a 1v1, only for it turn back into a 3v1 in just a few seconds.
Yeah matchmaking is 100% rigged in favor of the host. For more reasons than just that tbh.
I suggest that 2 invaders should be allowed to invade a host at any given time when they engage in coop. This allows for more balanced 3v2s as opposed to 3v1s. I also think that by turning on the hunters ring should allow a hunter to be called to that world, but only one. A second hunter can only be summoned in place of a phantom, limiting the hosts and their phantoms/hunters to 4 players. In response to having a hunter in their world, a third invader can invade. While this evens the playing field out, the game would have to tone down damage for a lot of weapons, as well as mana cost for the more powerful spells and incantations. I say this as there could be multiple mages spamming stars or comet making the gameplay extremely braindead.
I suggest another red per blue, to even the odds, an anti-hunter if you will
The game has a built in timer for invaders to join if taunter's toungue is turned off. They could implement a similar timer for blues so they don't always just spawn in seconds after a player slot becomes available
It's not that blues help the hosts. That's expected. It's that they'll help the host no matter how much the host cheats.

It's just free runes. If you all fall off a cliff before I inevitably die in combat to someone far more skilled, I get a rune, so that's neat.

I think that host was attribute cheating as well, so 99 in all attributes as well as stat cheating. Xbox doesn’t have this kind of cheating thank goodness.
Was this cheater at the beginning on ps5 or pc?

Ps4/5 has had stat cheaters since release, many such examples, most of which have way more hp than this dude here, something in the millions so only percent damage can kill em, like status procs and falling damage.
Have a clip on red-reddit of me just wailing on an afk password summon for 3 minutes with two scythes, who had so much health it needed 6 procs just for a number to even show up and his hp-bar to move, the final procs were along 80k hp or sumthin.
Runecount said he was lvl 6, which clearly doesn‘t add up to the stats and shitter gear.
@@zawarudo8991 I'm not gonna name it obviously, but there's a paid software on PC for resigning and editing PS4 saves that has existed for years. People used to use it in Bloodborne online too. That's probably what these clowns are using. They'll make the save on PS4, edit it, and then convert it to PS5. And if I'm right these idiots all paid $60 to be able to do this.
I'm guessing the reason the problem is so much worse in Elden Ring is just because it attracted a lot more tourists through FOMO than any other game FromSoft has made. A huge number of the people playing Elden Ring don't even enjoy it, which is why you see so many overlevelled phantoms, AFK farmers, cheaters, and things like the "seamless co-op" mod on PC sitting at 1.2 million unique downloads.
They literally just shouldn't exist in the game. The blue/hunter system adds nothing positive to online multiplayer in Elden Ring.
You're looking at it purely from an invaders perspective. From a new players perspective, one second they're playing with their friends and a red guys kills both of them. Without outside help Hosts are free eats.

@@BeefHammer1and you are looking at it from the perspective of previous souls. In ER theres no solo invations. Which means the dinamic of a helpless host being bullied by an invader is complely gone.
Hosts will always have the numbers advantage now. Even if its a party of PvErs and new players the blender potential in ER makes it so that they are all still dangerous.

If the invader kills 2 phantoms, they earned the 1v1. There shouldn't be infinite blues coming to help someone who already had help. The point of blue phantoms was to help solo hosts online, not be an infinite Gank summon.@@BeefHammer1

I exclusively invade and the odds are justifiably stacked against me because this is still Narrative RPG.
ER weapons and mechanics arent even balanced so it's no surprise the pvp isn't either. It is what it is

I activated the blue ring. It’s so easy to get runes arcs as a hunter 😇 I have now over 300 runes arcs for the dlc. Thank you invaders😍

As a hunter I have seen bad and good actors from both sides of the fence. I'm probably one of the few who makes regular videos on hunter cooperation.
Sometimes I'll join in against a twink who is clearly there to ruin a new players experience, other times I have seen hosts taunt invaders only to gank them.
Over time I have been a bit more balanced about when I intervene, but sometimes it's a hard call to make, and the gesture of the host at the end really gives you an idea of their intentions and character.
What I will say is I would be happy to see 3 invaders if the host has 3 helpers already, and you shouldn't need a taunters tongue to make it 2, it should just be automatic if they have 2 cooperators.
I do keep a more open mind now, but as it stands I'll still hunt invaders, as more often than not the call for help is a genuine one.

Yep I keep an open mind too, I give blues about 5 seconds to decide if they are gonna help the host or not before I kill them either way

Because in elden ring, they only exist to make a 2v1 into a 3v1 or a 1v1 into a 2v1 or 3v1
Also in the first clip the host was cheating and the blues just kept "helping" him for whatever reason
Basically they are yet another advantage that the host has over the invader (one of many)

Because the entire purpose of a blue is to be a sort of cop that comes in to rescue a solo host but now since you can’t invade solo host they serve no purpose other than to increase the numbers of a gank who many times are cheating or using broken weapons
Because they are quantity over quality ganking fodder and have no dignity on who they are actually "defending".
DS2 is the last game they felt like an actual faction with purpose and skillcaps.

But in the case of hosts summoning blues they essentially have an infinite stream of automatic reinforcements, which is clearly complete BS. If they start to lose they can just go passive and wait for more. That's all the guy means.
