Been saying it everywhere that as a GBA baby, I will always have the most hype for the GBA remakes just because we get to see how much improvements they make from the original. The best remakes will look like an original track and Riverside Park is one of the examples. GBA has been getting consistent love ever since they had the 2nd least amount of remade tracks before Tour and it's a complete breath of fresh air.
I agree: GBA Mario Circuit - a bland forgettable track turned into a fun frantic fast-paced track with a huge anti gravity section complete with an ultra hand Easter egg and tonnes of short cuts. GBA Cheese Land - one of the best GBA tracks given a full scale modern update really taking advantage of the 3D and modern features. GBA Ribbon Road - my favourite GBA track turned into a literal bedroom from Toy Story with tonnes of cool details and even a Kung Fu Panda reference. The design is also segmented into distinct sections really acting like a toy racecar set! Probably my favourite GBA passion project! GBA Snow Land - a faithful yet huge improvement over its original counterpart which I thought was one of super circuit's weaker tracks. Great shortcuts and gorgeous visuals make it a delightful little remake. GBA Boo Lake - tilting the whole course into anti-gravity and adding underwater driving make this gem so much more fitting with its actual name. GBA Riverside Park - a glorious HD remake giving an originally flat track so much more depth and height as well as personality. Not to mention adding the obscure Ptooie piranha plants with the item strategies is so clever. Plus the remix is banging. GBA Sky Garden - the only disappointing GBA remake. I appreciate the 3d treatment but sadly the track design was too simplified for my tastes. Can't wait for sunset wilds!
@@MrSuperleobros I agree with everything. Although, yes, Sky Garden ks the weakest GBA track remake-wise, I still do love it in terms of the music and the elements added to it. Unfortunately, they removed too much of the track that some added elements can't compensate enough. If they didn't bastardize the track shape and layout, Sky Garden would easily be more loved.

However, since there should be three more Double Dash tracks coming in the dlc, my remaining two wishlist tracks, Daisy Cruiser and Dino Dino Jungle, could still make it!

Waluigi Stadium and Yoshi Island are definitely my two most hyped tracks. Also to get on that top route in Waluigi Stadium, the racers will need to use the half pipe that is placed right before it.
You need to get on the new anti-gravity areas (there are 2 believe me) is accesable by using the half pipe, jumping up like this is something MKWii mods have been doing ages! I love that Nintendo is doing it now too!

It's funny that you said that DS Mario Circuit's graphics is pulled straight from Tour, DS Mario Circuit is also coming to Tour with that same graphics. Also, I agree that I am disappointed for them choosing Mario Circuit than any other DS tracks out there. Waluigi Stadium & Riverside Park look visually stunning and look like base game tracks.

It’s possible that it could have a different “verse” like Sydney sprint did before it loops, and we have yet to hear the 2nd version of the theme (the Chinatown version I believe) that plays on a certain portion of the track. Sorry for any confusion.
I could totally see DS Mario Circuit coming to the BCP because I overheard a MK8 style rendition in Super Nintendo World’s shop. I doubt they’d compose just for the theme park when they are already good at reusing resources haha
i agree that wario colosseum is better but to be honest wario has already a ton of track and waluigi only had one so far also i think it would probably be better to wait for the next game for those tracks that haven't been remade for years like wario stadium and wario colosseum
DS Mario circuit may hurt (I wanted airship fortress so badly) but hey at least it wasn't Yoshi falls, desert hills or FIGURE 8 CIRCUIT (aka the worst track ever made).

I just used ones I thought would be cool for an intro (I’m actually working on a 4th iteration of the intro with some newer clips as well!) sorry for any confusion.
Stop spreading lies lol, DS Mario Circuit has everything textured just like the rest of the Wave, they just went for the more cartoony artstyle here again (please Nintendo make up your mind) this track looks really sweet in my opinion and sells what it's trying to be fenomenally. It even has a sand texture from the base game. What are you gonna say to that? :p
If you compare the textures of the starting area to the tour version, the textures are in fact almost identical. You’re right that some textures have been improved, which I appreciate, but some are definitely still just flat colors.
To me it looks like it’ll actually have great track design, with portions from multiple areas of the original SNES Yoshi’s Island game! Thanks for watching!!

1:42-1:46 I want that Gardens by the Bay section to have anti gravity. We haven't even got any anti gravity section for city tracks yet
