Funny enough from what i heard from some people, they didn't like the music being just "rock-ified". And gave both OSTs a listen, and I kinda agree, the remix music isn't bad, but kinda just doesn't fit right compared to the original OST
i feel the exact opposite way, i never cared much for the original ost but im loving the remakes and the new tracks it adds and all the leitmotifs they snuck into songs
A fun fact, they sell a badge for 1 coin that takes 0 BP to equip that puts the OST back to the original (excluding things specific to the remake that do not have counterparts in the OG version)

Honestly even from a PC perspective Sony is way worse, at least Nintendo's hardware has some stuff you can't get on pc like the extreme portability (yeah, I know, Steam Deck but still, that's not a pc), Sony just makes bad pcs that are locked down and charges you more for them.
@@antonioscendrategattico2302 Steam Deck is definitely a PC, even has a desktop mode. But as great as it is, it doesn’t have the Switch’s ease of use. Its game store allows you to buy games which aren’t even compatible with it, for a start. So like a PC, sometimes you have to fiddle around a lot to get a game to work, and sometimes it just won’t.

Is it ok if I say that even if I do like the remake of the Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door I can’t bring myself to say that the remake is better than the original Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door game
I mean hey they managed to make Mario vs DK, the game where Mario has the most personality and charm ever in the whole franchise, super bland. So they could have made a great game like Thousand Year Door bad. But I suppose they knew that this was the one remake to not mess up.
Hot take: I get how people are very glad vivan gets to stay true to her character, but if that 'character' is a single line of dialogue then maybe she deserved better lines. (also someone definitely had a foot fetish) god damn this game is beautiful though.
To a lot of people, that one line really does help put more things regarding the abuse Vivian endures into context. But yeah I can kinda see your point.
they took out the screaming from the audience, they are attempting to censor something that was rated e in 2004 but they're too afraid now? i don't care . censorship takes away from the artist's original intent. sound effects of talking ruin some cutscene's impact, there is a reason why banjo kazooie is not trying to make you cry while talking about lost loved ones (prince mush, scarlette, tec scene). too many instances where not having the option to turn it off makes scenes unnecessarily goofy. not supposed to be goofy 100% of the time only loll. oh and of course the vivian translation is a w >:)
I mean your jokes regarding game releases do have a track record of aging poorly
