I enjoy how the American ones put more effort into the light show aspect, but I love the music at the beginning of the Japanese one. I don’t know why, but it makes me remember the amazing day I’ve had and feels more like it’s wrapping up the visit to Disney, whereas the American version just feels magical and spectacular, but doesn’t feel like it’s the ending to an amazing day. Maybe it’s just the fact that I’ve been to Disney sea way more than america(I live in japan) and have heard it playing while I leave the park multiple times, but it just feels more romantic and nostalgic, like it’s indicating the end of the dream-filled day, and when it transitions to the fantasia theme, it’s like it’s saying, “but wait, there’s one last magical experience to be had before this day ends”
That dragon entrance was amazing!! The dragon was in the mirror, and I was thinking, "I know an animatronic dragon is going to appear here. How is it going to show it getting out of the mirror?". Note that I thought the mirror had an electronic screen and I guess i didn't it was made out of water or something else the whole time. The dragon just pops it's head out of the mirror and it caught me be surprise! Great entrance!
seen both the Fantasmic Shows in Disney Land California and Disney SEA in Tokyo, and found both to be awesome in their own way, I loved the song "Fantasmic" from Disney California, but i loved he song "Imagination" from Disney SEA so much more! Opening Scene in Disney SEA, use of fireworks and laser effects was for me better, but the Peter Pan boat scene and the final steamboat float in Disneyland California, hands down brings me back and taps some of my happiest "childhood memories" .. if you have a chance, watch both! so worthit!
I went to see this in Tokyo, and I can seriously say that it was one of the best things that ever happened to me. It was amazing, this clip can't be compared with the real thing at all. Both me and my friends was in tears, lol. また見たいな〜〜
What they need is a Fantasmic with Tokyo's intro, the Peter Pan segment from California, the Disney Villains segment from Orlando, the dragon from California, and Sorcerer Mickey fighting Malifecent, Magic vs Fire, and also they need to get rid of the water projections and add some movies, and newer fireworks, lasers, etc. oh, and the hint of the sorcerer's apprentice at the end. Pure epicness, who agrees?
Flying Taco Truck I'd say go in the fall instead. If you live somewhere cold it should be warm enough for you and it's not full of vacationing Japanese :p
I ws there last week of november and I'm from a cold climate. So I was in a sweater all the time while the Japanese wore coats and scarves :p. Admitedly it got chilly when I stopped moving during the show and the wind was blowing on my back, but I started walking and got better.
Thanks for making all the Tokyo DisneySea videos. ive always wondered what the forein disney parks were like. And your the first ive seen do the POV's well =D
I wasn't as huge a Disney fan in 2006 when I was stationed in Japan and had the opportunity to go to Tokyo Disneyland, and have been kicking myself in the butt for it ever since.
this looks petty awesome its cool how they keep the original music in as a nod to the california and florida versions but also has a completely different show style
They should do this in Epcot like for a one time thing or something to see how it goes since that I'm sure has enough space to have all of this and if its good enough have like 2 fantasmics at HWS, since they usually have 2 shows whenever they do perform the show, and then have 2 different shows I think that would be amazing.
I see people saying that this is better than Florida's Fantasmic, and I agree, but Florida's Fantasmic has a mountain, and California's Fantasmic has a cabin
Seems there’s new animation sequences made specifically for this version of Fantasmic! I love it! Something that’s not edited from any of the original films alone!
Great video -- I was surprised that the music transitions in places seem rather abrupt, and the timing of the effects isn't as clean as the stateside versions. While technically, this is the better show, for the pure showmanship of it, I think the stateside versions still have the edge.
You just can't go wrong with a classic. TokyoDisneySea's version of "Fantasmic" adds some new material to the classic 1992 Disneyland/1998 Walt Disney World show, while still retaining a fair few of Bruce Healey's themes from the original. Sort of a mix of "Fantasmic" with a bit of "World of Color" thrown in if I had to describe it to others. I liked the new animation of Mickey, the Old Hag from "Snow White", and the small bit of Ursula from "The Little Mermaid" that we get here, though. :)
I absolutely LOVE Disney World's Fantasmic because it's just so beautiful. I saw it last Tuesday when I was there for spring break and it was so amazing. I was in the front row and I got SOAKED by the water! It was awesome. I think that this one is cool but not like the Disney World one. The one at Disney World is a classic for me. ❤️✨
+Skoorlit (living trash) Its the mill on Tom Sawyer's Island. Since 1955, guests have been able to play on that island by day. But when Fantasmic arrived, it astounded people gathered around the river by transforming into an incredible show right on the Rivers of America. Some folks like the stadium seating at the Hollywood Studios, but for me, let the show rise out from the waters.
i had the chance to watch this live in June...and for some odd reason i was almost in tears....wahahahaha....goosebumps all the way...must be due to my deprived childhood..wahahahahahaha
You're sooo right. My personal favorite is the WDW in Hollywood studios, maybe since I saw it first and first impression was amazing, but I think the one in california is just as awesome too since it is the original one (as you may say it) and I love this one too because since it is done recently, it has very good effects. The point of the shows is to enjoy and know that with imagination you can beat anything, and it is really true.
I was mesmerized by the beginning and, I have to admit, I got tears in my eyes when the main theme started playing! TwT Is it wrong of me to think that this version is the best out of all the versions of Fantasmic? :'3
I'm definitely going to disneysea nx wmmonth when I'm in Japan this looks cool, I just wanted to ask if I get the day pass from what time the park opens till tit closes?
I think the new visual elements are wonderful, and I love how kinetic the show is at times, with so many things happening at once, yet in harmony--sort of a symphony of sights. On the down side, I much prefer the original songs over the new ones, and this version lacks the tightness and tension of the other versions, for lack of a better way to describe it (mostly an issue of music and transitions). Overall, Disney did an excellent job of giving us something familiar yet new and fresh.
It's not that we don't have imagination I love Disneyland but in my opinion I think the one in USA is better the begging the audio is funky the transition are weird and at times it's TOO MUCH you can't focus
The fireworks making their way up the sorcerer's hat at the end is so awesome
This was one of the most memorable moments of my entire life so far.
I just cried. Don't know why. Too beautiful! Wish i could go there and see it with my own eyes
Unbeleivable footage-thank you so much for sharing!!

This was a really great recording of the show. Thanks for posting! :)
Absolutely loved Disney Sea! Want to take the family back again! And we just came back!
Awesome video!
This is amazing! I thought that the previous show was good but this is just something else! Thanks for sharing.
Wow!! This Fantasmic show at Tokyo Disneyland is really cool!!! Especially the beginning where Mickey is on top of the Sorcerer Hat!
It’s okay everyone the Disney villains are gone!
Y’all can come out now
I like how Tokyo Disney makes all the original classic Disney Parks stuff but with a twist!
I went to see this in Tokyo, and I can seriously say that it was one of the best things that ever happened to me. It was amazing, this clip can't be compared with the real thing at all. Both me and my friends was in tears, lol.

Going from the Circle of Life to an epic guitar rift of Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride. Pure awesomeness!
I like the part circle off life guitar style spring roller coaster ride that was so cool 😎 👌
I love how in the original Mickey says “Hey, What’s going on?” But in this version he just says “*Stuff in Japanese* Whaaaaaaaaaaa?!”
This is better than Disney World's version BUT NOT better than Disneyland's version!
World fantasmic need a serious upgrade.
Leo Lim yep
Leo Lim nope, it needs to stay in the 90s.
turkeydinnerchewie never get too corrupted by nostalgia buddy, when you do, it’s a dangerous path
@@turkeydinnerchewie2499 At least change the head on a stick dragon.
this is the best video on youtube! nice job! so UNIQUE!

Another reason for me to visit Tokyo!!
That's it! I want to go to Tokyo now!
Make sure you go during the summer when its warm!
Flying Taco Truck I'd say go in the fall instead. If you live somewhere cold it should be warm enough for you and it's not full of vacationing Japanese :p
Undrave I went last November and it got uncomfortably cold. But I'm from a warm climate.

tigerqueen007 So do 👁. :) 💖✨🌈
When I was there Flotsam and Jetsam were not used... I still LOVED to show! You really did a good job recording it, best I ever seen!
本当にミッキーお疲れ様でしたこれからもベランズともたたかえはとてもすてきですこれからもぱーと3と4もベンランズをたたかてくださいミッキーお疲れ様
Thanks for making all the Tokyo DisneySea videos. ive always wondered what the forein disney parks were like. And your the first ive seen do the POV's well =D
I was been there 2014 with my girl friend, the show is really fantastic and make us so exciting, a very lovely summer night we had.
I loved how they used segments of the original fantasmic show.
Okay but can we all agree that the way the dragon comes out through that mirror is pretty awesome!
Saw this last night, absolutely outstanding! 👏👏👏
I also LOVE this version!
i've seen disney shows before, but that was the best they have ever done. Wish i was there to see it live.
i saw this a year or so ago. it fucking blew my mind. cant wait to go back
So magical
This show reminds me lot of memories
Very cool!
THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR VIDEO (MEMORYSTAR)
published on 27 jun 2011, are you telling me they've re-ran this show every night for the last 7 years!!!! OMG
Truly spectacular!
OMG I LOVED IT
I was the 1000th like!!!!
綺麗な動画で面白かったです😊❤️
I wasn't as huge a Disney fan in 2006 when I was stationed in Japan and had the opportunity to go to Tokyo Disneyland, and have been kicking myself in the butt for it ever since.
Epic job with the camera
this looks petty awesome its cool how they keep the original music in as a nod to the california and florida versions but also has a completely different show style

11 people were in too much awe of the beauty that they accidently clicked the dislike button.
The dragon looks so much cooler in this one, the one in Florida does nothing.
Also, the one in California the Dragon are amazing.
Yeah, the california's one are much better than all others
The one in Florida = NIGHTMARES FOREVER.
Half-Ripped wings.
Almost torn apart body.
Glowing yellow eyes.
AND THE FACT IT SPITS FREAKIN FIRE
+Skoorlit (living trash) holy shit, me 1 year ago you weren't even an AP back then calm the fuck down
I agree. We need a new dragon
I see people saying that this is better than Florida's Fantasmic, and I agree, but Florida's Fantasmic has a mountain, and California's Fantasmic has a cabin
Disneyland Has A Cabin. And A Mountain... And better lighting effects, and a 4 story river boat, And Lazers, Not To Mention Our Pirate Ship.
The new Fantasmic of Disneyland will make owns Disney World version into last place.
That was amazing
What an amazing finale...F***ing amazing! Walt would be incredibly proud of that show!
Seems there’s new animation sequences made specifically for this version of Fantasmic! I love it! Something that’s not edited from any of the original films alone!

Now thats a show that I like.
Wish they incorporated some more Disney villains: Jafar, Cruella, Hades, Scar, Gothel, Zelena, Gold and Faciler would have been great additions
I was there to see last weekend and it hasn't changed at all??!?!? I love it anyway.
AMAZING! I still kinda like the steamboat at the end like Disney World and Disneyland but it was very good, love the pyro at the end too
Journey to the center of the earth in the background when the mirror breaks is badass
Ammmmaaazzziiinnnggg!!!
This is my second favorite Fantasmic after Disneyland's update of 2017 Fantasmic.
Love the fireworks from the hat barge!
omg i’m crying
that is a pretty cool show!

I have to say it, ours here at Disneyland is STILL the best version of Fantasmic with the best Dragon.
Wow! Fantastic in Tokyo is beautiful and advance.
Anyone else wishing we had subtitles here?
You get stitch! Lucky~
And angel driving a rda speed boat from avatar i wish we had something like this in disneyland Anaheim
I love how they animated the Witch!
Awsome ! : )
The great place of Disney Sea is not permanent but it is this quality.
There needs to be a Disneyland Canada!
Snow
Weather conditions is problem
Not enough people to support it as people travel less to theme parks in Canada due to weather.
*****
Nah, their needs to be a Disney in Australia, I wish Disney went through with their plans to put a Disneyland in Sydney
LOVE The Stitch part! So fun =) Makes me wanna dance!
Yeah I like that part also angel driving a rda speed boat at 8:00
I love that they referenced one of the lilo and stitch teaser trailers.
I would be expecting updated California fantasmic brought me here now
I just realised the Fantasmic 2.0 used some of the music and video clips from THIS Fantasmic.
wow! Some of those newer arrangements of the theme were really cool! I wonder if there's a soundtrack??
I was hoping the Japanese version would have Keyblades...
makes me cry! but I love it!
I'm honestly just contemplating what happened with Disneyland Fantasmic. I mean...A CABIN?!?! Where dat mountain?

The sorcerer hat/stage is awesome
this is awesome, its abit like world of colour but better :D
That show is cool I like
I subscribed
WOW!!!
Sugoi!!! :D i wanna go to Tokyo Disneyland soo bad! >_
Can we get a version of Fantasmic that has elements of all of the ones around the world combined? I would watch that even if it was an hour long
i had the chance to watch this live in June...and for some odd reason i was almost in tears....wahahahaha....goosebumps all the way...must be due to my deprived childhood..wahahahahahaha
wonderful *-*
Well said

I'm so jealous that TDS got Angel. She's been my fave for fuck knows how long.
i love this version aswell as walt disney world

Totally agree with you on that, bro. The tech in Tokyo is nice and all, but you get just a fantastic feeling with it in Cali.
I must admit I got really excited when the original theme song came up :)
wow.....I really want to go to Japan now!
wow keren....
1:Fanasmic 1992 DL
2:Tokyo Fantasmic
3:Fantasmic 2.0
4:Fantasmic WDW
and that's my most to least fav Fantasmic's
is it bad that i thought the title up till half of the video said nightmares and not nighttime?
46 dislikers have no imagination
make that 50 people with no imagination...
you are so right
Make that 57 People with No Imagination
It's not that we don't have imagination I love Disneyland but in my opinion I think the one in USA is better the begging the audio is funky the transition are weird and at times it's TOO MUCH you can't focus
Too many things tossed into this show. I like Californias much better. But this one has it's moments too.
