Idk why I always get emotional when I listen to Quasimodo sing in French during this show at Disneyland Paris. I think it’s super cool how all of the French Disney characters sing in French. That may be a silly thing to admire, but I find it super fascinating to see Disney French characters the way France knows them.
Was there in 2012 of June to watch this. Was very impressed how the show was so ahead of its time with the visual and water projections. I'm happy they got this back.
The more I analyze and compare this to other Disney nighttime shows, the more I realize that this might be one of the greatest in any park, at any time.
@@timslee0618 True!!! The Stripped Down version of "Un Monde Qui S'Illumine" is similar to the One's that I already heared like the Stripped down Ballad version of a Pop Song titled "Best Time". I gotta say it got that Chill Vibes on this one
It’s amazing to see Disney Dreams back right where it belongs. I love that it’s the definitive version with Lion King and Brave included instead of the original version and it’s so cool to see all the technical differences with the visuals being much better then it was. This evening spectaculair is still unmatched compared to other Disney parks worldwide, which is funny since this is the show that kickstarted those shows in Disney parks worldwide so you think they would improve. But somehow Dreams is still the best and I’m so glad it’s back. Can’t wait to be an emotional wreck on Central Plaza when I’m there May 18th
All of the additional lights they added really help the show. Not used excessively but in spots that create slightly better shots. Part of the finale was a bit watered down, however, and the post-show was much better in the original.
To me, I think the new firework system feels compact rather than spacious like the old system, It just makes everything feel kind of cramped and you kind of get that feeling throughout the show

It was the first show of the coming back of 2023, not the premiere, first ever show, since this show started in 2012 and ran until 2017 at Disneyland Paris.
It's nostalgic and there's more French-set references but this doesn't have anywhere near the impact of a finale as Illuminations. Hopefully people start to feel the loss of the other and it'll come back better at some point...
Je suis vraiment pas fan de dreams j'avais tellement plus de frisson avec illumination j'espère qu'après le grand final il y aura un nouveau spectacle nocturne qui mêlera ancien et nouveau disney et pixar.
Les rêves de Disney soufflent des illuminations hors de l'eau, c'est fantastique et tellement immersif et met parfaitement en valeur la magie de Disney.

There is nothing new to this show 10 years later and the projections feel very old! Not to mention the terrible use of fireworks. DLP really needs a show like momentous or wondrous journeys.
Bringing a 10-year old show back unchanged and selling it as something new, is disappointing to say the least especially in an expensive resort like DLP.
Dreams feels more like a compilation and its very outdated. Illuminations is a masterpiece, the original song Un Monde Qui S'Illume is so catchy and cheers me up when I hear it. The songs they chose for it flow very smoothly. My only criticism with Illuminations is the Pirates of the Carribean part. Other than that its the best show Disney made in my opinion.
Dreams is by far the better show with projections that cleverly use the castle as a template, and fantastic opening and closing scenes! How can anyone prefer Illuminations? I watched Disney Dreams in 2013 and I missed it so much when it got replaced by the inferior Illuminations.
the fireworks werent amazing.. illuminations had more... vert similar to happier ever after... and had much more better visuals.. they should have put a ALOT more firworks to mak e it better
I was at Disneyland this week and saw this show, but I have to say it wasn't exactly like in this video. They changed the fireworks to something simpler and less impactful. Anyway, I prefer Disney Illuminations over Disney Dreams, it's much more exciting and moving. I cried the first time I saw the show.
I am not a big fan of this one. I was really disappointed by the fireworks it looks like they’re trying to do some savings. Hope we will have a more spectacular one next soon
@@AnakinSkywalker_1858 hence probably why Disney went with more the projection route. Projections is the cake and the Fireworks are the flavor and icing. Disney has no control over supply chain issues
Très déçu😢 beaucoup de chansons en anglais d'accord Disneyland est américain mais on est en France j'adorais illuminations ça me procurait une émotion particulière de plus, plus d'effet spéciaux et les chansons étaient en français et anglais c'était bien partagé vraiment tres déçu. mais après chacun son avis 😉 de plus ils ont changé la chansons le monde qui s'illumine à la fin du spectacle elle n'a plus de pep's presque triste même 😢 moi qui aimait danser à la fin du spectacle

They’ve decreased the amount of fireworks though. The finale fireworks here is nothing to the version 10 years ago.

There are lot more spotlights (or skytracers) than original version and soundtrack of the show gets re-recorded in 4.1 surround mix instead of stereo.

I was at Disneyland this week and saw this show, but I have to say it wasn't exactly like in this video. They changed the fireworks to something simpler and less impactful.
