What a coach. And if you didn’t like it, you can leave 👀👀 and he had other great 😊 ones lining up to play for him he made young men’s into grown Mans and grown man’s into Beasts , parents wanted their children to be coached by him all around the nation, 👀👀 and they went on to do great 😊 things. Verbal public commitments don't carry nearly as much weight as they used to. Kids will hold over the stop signings, throw big party, and change their minds in a heartbeat. Q
That's right getting excited over them is like building a house on quicksand.
Thanks for the recruiting update, Marc! I think as long as the coaches maintain a continuous line of communication, we have a great chance of keeping the Georgia recruits. We lose recruits when they think they’re taken for granted.

I still follow recruiting as closely as ever but I do realize now that with paying players the public commitment doesn’t mean as much as it used to. With that being said I still get very excited over a commitment ✌️

Really hoping Miller has a good enough year to hit the draft so that Jayden can have a full year next year while Julian Lewis learns the ropes then takes over for 2-3 years
I didn’t see McKay so Pete by default. However, I love Pete. He’s such a great motivator.
I saw both. McKay was tops in his time in the 60s & 70s. But if you compare teams year after year, PC's teams played at a higher level and the scores were more lopsided.
Good updates. We’ll have to fight for these recruits until they sign at the end of year or early 2025. If some flip I hope we have a backup plan and won’t be left like we were in the transfer portal overestimating our ability to close the deal with the top recruits

I was at the KSU game live and everyone in my section thought Troy killed Aaron Lockett on that punt return. All joking aside, we thought Troy went full Jack Tatum and paralyzed Lockett. It was the hardest hit I’ve ever seen.

I like Miller as a QB. However how do you think USC will do this season being in an entirely different conference/division. I'm rather new to college so I have no idea how everything works.

Miller’s strength will be in finding a receiver sooner than later. Riley’s offense is designed to be quick and efficient, just as Bill Walsh and his West Coast offense were. I remember Walsh yelling at his great QBs, “Don’t be greedy, take the Dink!” (short pass). Give MM his 3.5 seconds-or less-and he will make the efficient choice. If he has a rough day, you can count on the fans to start making noise for Jadyn. Oh, and Bill Walsh would have made a great USC coach.
Bear Bryant, Nick Saban and Tom Osborne. Bobby Bowden a very close 4th.

IF the Oline provides decent blocking, I think MM will be very good. He makes quick reads and appears to see the whole field. The key is for the offense to be BALANCED Imho. Fight on!

In the NIL era, do scholarship numbers even matter any longer. The right player with an NIL package can be listed as a walk on with tuition paid by NIL dollars. No hit to the scholarship count.
What about recruiting some elite JUCO players? 3?years to play 2 years! All I hear is recruiting high school players and transfer portal players for one year. How many USC players on USC roster come from a JUCO that are on scholarship?
I’ve talked about this before the show transferring from a junior college into USC isn’t an easy thing to do. It has to do with transferable units.
If JUCO players have the units and grades they are NCAA qualifiers. They are hungry to play at the next level. They do not care for NIL deals like transfer portal players.
@@JamesClampitt-ju5jd those are two separate issues. I’m not disagreeing however what I said, plays a role and why USC does not bring in a lot of junior college players.

With players getting paid just to take an official visit these days, not receiving any commitments yet is NOT that big a deal. Let these young men and their families get wined and dined, make a little scratch for n the side and commitments will come at the end of the month and through the season.

Im pulling for whoever the starter ends up becoming, but we really have to stop talking like its a given that Moss has the job locked up. Rattler thought he had it locked up until Lincoln called Caleb's number vs Texas. Go back and watch that Holiday bowl. There were some errant throws that WR made great catches tk salvage. 3 of those throws could've easily been picked, the kid who picked Moss off in that game had one go right through his hands, I think on Moses first thrown. Also, the floater TD to Lane could've been picked too. He missed Zachariah wide open too. His accuracy definitely has room for serious improvemen. I have no problem at all pulling for Miller, we all should. But this talk like its a forgone conclusion based in what we've seen on the feild is a bit of an overreach at this stage IMO.
85 man rosters are done. Schools are grey shirting 20/30 players heading to fall with easily over 100. They pay their tuition and pay them. This notion teams get 85 scholarships is dated.
Utah should be respected as an opponent also. Sc is lucky they didnt follow them into the big 10 as well.
Utah just needs to send Alex Grinch a Christmas card every year

If you don't think that those 2 USC commits staying committed after they just went to their UGA official visit isn't relative news, then you don't understand how recruiting works.

I used to have respect for ND, until the current LSU coach did nothing but congratulate their stupid defender Jerry Tillery for stomping on our head when we were down injured on the field. After that is no mass. I was ready to cancel the series at that point even though we won that game by 20 something and they were sore losers. Bowden gave them their nickname the Criminoles. Snyder pissed me off when they turned the Colli purple, but it was our fault for not taking them seriously enough. I respected Dick Tomey and Mike Riley. For us I pick John McKay even though I loved CPC. But would McKay have screwed Chow in favor of Lame?
