I wanna know what he backs in his red& blues, I bet he hasn’t shit I never seen or heard of. All I packed on fires ( type 1 not a smoke jumper) was socks under wear and a book lol it’s a hard fucking job
Goggins doesn’t show up on the NSA (National Smokejumper Association) jumper directory. Does anyone know where or when he rookied?
I’ll answer my own question. He washed out of training in the U.S. but it sounds like he went to Canada to Smokejump. I’ll give him credit for his creativity in getting what/where he wants.
He was in Fort St John, BC, Canada last summer. And he was definitely not making between $12 and $15/hour lol

@@L_Train He injured his knee during the winter while he was preparing and it never fully healed. Once he began smokejumper training it just got worse. He made it 1-2 days before he washed out. It was in Missoula.

@@trabbs1771 Obviously couldn't handle it, smokejumping training is a whole different beast, I have a couple family members who were smokejumpers, they did it for 20+ years.
They mainly protect native allotments. Not just anywhere u know
It takes years to become a smoke jumper. Gotta get your FFT2 then FFT1 among other quals probably some actual time on a shot crew. Something tells me because he's a seal they streamlined that smh 🤦

Firefighting is a team effort! Takes a lot of ppl working together. You can get a lot done when no one cares who gets the credit for it. If he’s American, why is he doing it out of Canada.
I’m not buying any of this especially the pay. They aren’t just going to let you do this cause your in incredible shape/

Why you do that!? ‘Umm when I left the military I was looking for more’……more of WHAT!?! Chaos!? Confusion? Conflict!? Adrenaline!?!…..I got that last Friday night after a few beers and a chat with a woman…….there’s a difference between testing yourself, and chasing death!……..what this dude promotes is ‘death!, if you DONT stay hard’ the reason why this guy will go for a run at 2am on a winters morning is because he’s ‘unhappy’ that’s it………..EGO RUINS THE HUMAN SOUL! RUINS IT! THE MOMENT TOU GO ‘Too much’ ITS OVER!!!😂😂😂
