This may be a little off but kindly assist. In relation to the installation of solar panels on roofs: is the North facing " mantra" really of importance to places like sub sahara africa.
may i ask a question? as i know tv satellites are on equador. but when i searched into them on google earth on equador cities, they point really elevated but not exactly zenith like say 75 degree maybe less. why?

My question is if I known latitude and longitude of my location, then I find latitude and longitude location of Satellite?
