    You have given exact expample of azimuth angle that I need for producing geometrical drawings and in the future how software allow us to see sizes and direction of shadows at any time of any day. 👍

    Great video. Can you please explain why didn’t why choose the North Azimuth angle which is at 0 degrees if we are in the Northern Hemisphere?

    • @reotraining5558
      @reotraining5558  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Mosaab! Since we are in the Northern hemisphere, the sun is towards the South. Kindly refer to the video, the 'movement of the sun' and the associated tilts. Hence, we have to place the panels facing South and the Azimuth is 180 degrees.

    Having zero deg azimuth also enable sunlight exposure thru out the day. Why you select 180 deg

    how about for the southern hemisphere ?

    • @reotraining5558
      @reotraining5558  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello!
      If you’re designing a system in the Southern Hemisphere, for example -Adelaide, Australia, your ideal panel orientation would be North, and not South.
      This is primarily due to the Movement of the Sun. If you carefully study the daily movement of the sun and how the direction of the irradiance level varies based on the hemisphere, you should be able to grasp the reasoning behind it. :)

    Either the grapgics are back to front ... or I am !! I am 100% solar with two of my three small arrays fully tracking on mounts. Trying to follow the graphics while listening to the comentary, I kept having to stop and replay several times to check that the graphics were describing step by step what he was saying ... or not. Some of it was ok to follow, the general principles as good as any, some graphics a little confusing, to me at least. If you are new to this, then you have just recieved some useful information from this video.

    Tilt angel does not work sometimes.

  • @oldwizzy
    @oldwizzy 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    All this can be made much, much easier.
    The easiest way is how an Optical Telescope basically works according to the 'Equatorial' principle. The equatorial mount has a north-south "polar axis" that is tilted to be parallel to earth's polar axis, allowing the telescope to swing in an east-west arc, with a second axis perpendicular to it so that the telescope can swing in a north-south arc. By swiveling the polar axis of the mount or mechanically moving in the opposite direction of the Earth's rotation, the telescope can accurately track the movement of the night sky.
    See the link for this >> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equatorial_mount#German_equatorial_mount

    i think you are referring to magnetic south and not the true south

  • @naturesmoments6146
    @naturesmoments6146 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think you have got the Azimuth Angle wrong. In northern hemisphere (e.g. India), when Solar panels are tilted towards true south, then Azimuth angle is 0°.

    • @reotraining5558
      @reotraining5558  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We are referring to Azimuth angles that are measured from the North. Hence in our case, the South becomes 180 and our panels are facing south. Maybe you are referring to the PVSyst azimuth angles where south is 0 degrees.

    Need to say 100% South where eat and West sited panel, still work at 85%, as lght still drives panels to produce power,,,, your video shows maximum best south not the difference effects of position
