The pressure rod in the doorway just blew my mind! I have always wanted to put garland up there, but didn't want to put nails in the walls. This is a game changer and I can't wait to do it this year!!!
Your channel & Bargain Bethany's are my 2 fav craft channels bc y'all have THE most creativity:) I love the idea of reimagining the things I already have to decorate. In this economy, it makes sense to be more frugal!
This was a super video Kathryn! I love your " use what you've got" philosophy. It's just fun and allows for being creative which sometimes we never have time for. My tree isn't up yet, but I'm going to do minimal decorating this year. Just simple and adding some warmth to my home. Last year I did a Woodland tree. You would have loved it I think. All golds, whites, birch bark ribbon, and a Burberry dupe ribbon too. Lots of owls, earthy and just cozy tree. Wish I could show you pictures. It was my best tree ever!
The Dollar Tree ornaments this year is so woodland chic this year🎉. I got a gold wire basket from DT used a piece of flannel fabric to put inside, collected pine cones flocked them and put berry picks and the pine cones in the basket. Adding the scent sticks in the basket makes the room smell nice. A bow wrapped around the entire basket was my final touch
Everytime Kathryn says, "You are enough" my eyes start sweating. You are a beautiful blessing to TH-cam. I hope you know how much you mean to me and others.
You are so sweet...love watching your videos...your diys are always beautifully done. It only takes a few new inexpensive purchases to add some pop to what you already have. Thanks for sharing!🎄
Thank you SO much for not overstuffing your tree! Too many put so much on that you can even see there is a tree under the Christmas store explosion. My favorite hack today was the tension rod garland holder. Brilliant!
I guess im one of those people who rarely heard inspirational or supportive things aimed toward myself much. But the first time i heard ,'you are enough' i did get tears in my eyes. And i realized, yes, yes i am enough. Thank you, thank-you so much. I never realized i needed someone to tell me this.
Kathryn I love all your videos they just get my creative juices flowing. I would love to see a step by step tutorial on how to add ribbon to my tree. I want to do that this year but I don't want my tree to look like a 2 year old decorated it😅😅
I have a case of 24 of those little drawers waiting for me to stain them and glue beads for pulls. I already have a felt advent calendar that I made when my kids were little, but I keep buying ones every year, so I thought it would be fun to do my own. I don't know if it's cheaper, but it's a lot more fun!
thanks for the idea of beads for the pulls! I was thinking about making one for myself but didnt want to pull the drill out and was going to wander the store and consider other options for pulls. you made that part easier for me LOL ;)
Omgoodness! Kathryn everything is stunning and beautiful! High end Luxe feel but on a budget LOVE LOVE LOVE it all. There are so many people who have gorgeous homes, but they spend a fortune. Your home would stack up and beat many and it’s done in a budget friendly way, without giving up the luxe, aesthetic, beauty. Complete home run.
Definitely the shower curtain rod in your doorway with Garland!!! I love your dinning room. All your decorations look like they're straight out of a pottery barn catalog. You've been blessed with a gift. So many people look forward to your smiling face, your energy, your words of encouragement. God Bless you and the rest of your family.
Thanks for encouraging repurposing of items we already have. It seems like "influencers" I use to follow for inspiration only use their posts and stories as ads. "Here's my discount code" for the drink I just casually sipped, or "so many of you have been DMing me about my outfit" , next slide is miraculously their LTK app to buy everything!! Here she encourages us, supports us and realizes that we have bills to pay. Thanks for being so real!
I love them all, Kathryn. You are so inspiring, now I'm really going to try DIY's especially, when you made the garlands in the doorways, how nice it turned out. Thank you so much for sharing your DIY tips with us ♥♥
I love the bows in the tree. The ornaments at the end would be a cute tree topper for a little girls tree if they have them in their rooms or even to put in the main Christmas tree.
I really like the tension rod garland hack. That's such a great idea. I need to look for those giant cookies. They're so cute. I'm going for a nutcracker, reindeer theme (sort of) and I want to make a full size nutcracker for my front porch,as well as ornament topiaries. I'll have to go through my Christmas decorations and see what I can use. Thanks for all of the ideas.👍🏾❤️
Kathryn you are enough your videos make my day I love when you include your children and husband you have the sweetest family but you are a sweet, sweet person. Happy holidays looking forward to more videos.
I needed your voice today. Thank you. Like getting a hug. Loved your hacks. Your gingerbread man outside is one of my favorites. So cute. The houses without the snow would be cute as decoration year round with the little lights in them. Only thing i seen missing was cardinals. Thanks for sharing your ideas and especially for sharing your love. You are good people my dear. Thanks for brightening my day. God Bless 🙏
Kathryn your such a blessing you truly are. All your diy's that you do are all my favorites i cant pick just one. Your so talented and such a joy to watch. Is anyone has told you you are an angel and such in inspiration to all.
I really liked the outdoor cookies you placed in your front yard, the curtain rods, your updated touches with the new decor & lights & so many more, thank U.
As always, Kathryn, wonderful ideas and on """""that budget"""""" is the best !!! Thanks so much... I just love your smile and enthusiastic attitude 😊❤😊
Shop your stash!!! Yes! I may just do the door trim. I have a small apartment so decorating is minimal. What a way to spruce up my hallway entry which is basically a doorway :) Thanks Kathryn!!
My favorite project was the gingerbread house centerpiece! I loved the advent calendar but (realistically) know I would not tackle that project. My favorite find was the wood bead garland that looks like marshmallows - you have to do a hot cocoa project with them!
Kathryn is such a light! It always makes my day to see that shes uploaded something. I'd love to see some early gift ideas Kathryn! Some out of the box or affordable gifts! I cant wait to see what you come up with this year
I just couldn't find just one favorite thing, I loved ALL of them!!! Kathryn, I always look forward to seeing your new videos and your beautiful smile. You lift up my day, always. I'm a shut in and the only time that I get out is when I have a Dr's appointment ❤
Your home looks beautiful for Christmas. I loved all of your hacks, especially the bow trick on the tree with the ribbon. I am definitely trying that one this year. Please give us more videos like this one.
I absolutely adore your ideas and love how you decorated your entire house. It's absolutely stunning! I love your ideas Katherine and you continue to inspire me each and every time I watch your videos. ❤ I'll definitely be looking for those giant cookies to decorate right outside my townhouse along with some lights.
Thank you for wonderful ideas. I organize by type and label the bin. I put an instruction sheet for order of decorating the tree. I take pictures each year and of my table setting, recipes used, and movies watched and create a pinterest board.
Oh wow lady!! Great video!! Fantastic ideas!! Kathryn you have outdone yourself on this one! I am definitely matching your elegant style for my decor this year! 🌲 ❤️
I organize my tree ornaments by size. We have a 12.5 foot beast of a Christmas tree that is almost 30 years old and still looks great. We have to start at the top and put on the lights and ornaments in sections, so having smaller ornaments at the top is necessary. We gradually add larger ornaments with a few small ones mixed in throughout the tree. I'm glad it's only an annual job.
Favorite thing was wrapping up the Christmas tree and sticking in the picks and, of course, the topper. It was spectacular. I liked the spackling on wood to create snow. Genius. Another great 👍 video. Love 💕 and Hugs. ❤❤❤
I love that you’re encouraging people to use what they have. I think that’s important. Thank you! 😊

Yes, 💯 this!
Life is hard. A little sprucing up can be the happiness we need sometimes. Thanks for the ideas!

@@IrishAnnielovely! Enjoy!
I love all of your hacks, but my favorite is the shower rod and garland in the doorway. So beautiful!
For sure this was my favorite, too! So pretty! I love to bring the look of the outdoors into my house.
I loved that!
Do you have a doorway that doesn't have a door?
Kathryn, you, have, the, best, inexpensive, ideas, for the holidays, I, loved, the keychains.
The pressure rod in the doorway just blew my mind! I have always wanted to put garland up there, but didn't want to put nails in the walls. This is a game changer and I can't wait to do it this year!!!
Give it a try, it works great!!!
We organize by type of item. You are doing such a fantastic job of bringing the true joy of Christmas to this holiday season!!!! ❤❤❤
I would love to see creative "gift" packaging ideas for gift cards or baked goods on a budget. Thank you!
I would, too! 👍
I love the garland hack! I love hearing "you are enough". Makes me smile 😁

the tension rod garland holder is GENIUS THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT IDEA!
I LOVE the reminder to use and be happy with what you have. Our family loves decorating our tree with family ornaments that have been made or gifted.
The tension rods are good, but my favorite was the gingerbread house village with spackle snow. So cute.
I love the bows in the tree. The ornaments at the end would be a cute tree topper for a little girls tree if they have them in their rooms or even to put in the main Christmas tree.

Love the gingerbread house village and the giant cookie ornaments!
Beautiful, doable decorations! So pretty! Thanks!
My fav is the advent calendar made out of boxes. My kids are adults now and tired of the little chocolates. So flexible❤
The tree topper was the one I liked. Thank you for sharing.
