That's a fairly strong little engine. All of those freight cars are metal, quite impressive. Dave, I really appreciate your down to earth no nonsense and no snobbery approach to toy trains. Wish there were more like you. You are a great asset to our hobby.
Ya Gotta Love them Marx Tin Litho cars. Your acquisitions look pretty good considering their age. Most Toy Trains from that era were well played with and stored in abysmal conditions. Great haul there.

Thanks! Glad you appreciate the trains and my approach in general.
Great little tinplate consist.
Thanks 👍
Great looking Marx trains Dave!
Many thanks!
Dave you made out good with that purchase. You gotta love little Marx lithograph cars, they make a nice contrast with regular rolling stock.
I do enjoy them being different from what I usually run, they are just fun.
I’m a Marx fan so good buy
I’m happy with it! I’ve seen the observation cars go for a lot, so I’m thrilled with the deal I got.

Thanks! One side of the red Pullman is quite bad but it looks ok when it’s moving.
Tinplate o gauge look beautiful
Thanks. I love these trains.
Very soothing hearing the trains run. Have you had a chance to check out the show Snowpiercer?
It is soothing, I agree. I watched the movie, it was ok. Kind of a silly premise. Is the show good?
@@dagryffynhobby way better than the movie!!!
Nice haul! I should get some lithos sometime!
You should! You can get them cheap if you look.
😎👍👍
I never know what I spent either. 😉 wink
Let’s not worry about unimportant things like who spent what! 😆
Great video, amazing trains! Do consider getting a small mic for yourself though-the volume of your voice and the trains is a very large difference
Thanks. Yeah I need to get a mic. I try to adjust the volume after the fact, but a mic would really help. Any suggestions on brand/type?
@@dagryffynhobby love how the layout is looking Dave!
Are you running the Marx on O gauge track? If you are, have you had any issues with the switches?
I am running them on O gauge track with no problems, although I do not have any switches so I dont know how they would do.
They sound so quiet on your layout.
Probably because I turned the volume down on that part of the video because it was too loud!
Ok…..ok…. I may have to “un subscribe” You’re getting to much cool stuff for me to bare. Seriously cool pick up and really liking the layout!
I’d say I’d stop, but my next video is another haul from eBay, and there is some good stuff in that one too!
I know. Its almost impossible to stop. Already eyeing up my next locomotive. It is seriously an addiction.
@@stever.5092 I’m ok with that. Gotta be addicted to something! Might as well be trains.
Marx...Marx.....I love marx ,but not karl .
Haha! I agree, Louis Marx = good. Karl Marx = bad
@@dagryffynhobbyoh I see
