    I haven't seen any reviewers cover this so maybe its not possible, but do you know if you can use this selfie stick in combination with the mic adapter (which has a usb c outlet) and be able to mount something like the wireless go 2 on this stick as well?

      Hello there. I haven’t tried it with the mic adapter yet so I’m not sure. I’ve ordered a mic adapter so I will test that when I can.
      As for the Go2 if you screw the go 2 inside of its case to the end of the selfie stick it should power the camera just fine but as for camera controls it isn’t listed as a compatible cam so I would assume it won’t work.

    I dig this! Do you know if this will work with the One RS One Inch with the mic adapter?

    Hi there, good review! In the new version for 2024 however they've canceled the quarter 20 port at the bottom. So you can't attach a tripod nor anything else to it. When asking the support about it, they told me the changes are made for safety reasons. Now that's disappointing!

      Thanks so much, thanks for watching. That is odd, I had heard something like that. Thanks for the update, that is disappointing.

    Love the review. I bought one and noticed my usbc port door appears in frame because it’s tethered to the camera, and I noticed yours was completely removed. How did you remove it?

    • @BobbyInBlue
      @BobbyInBlue  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for watching. Yes I noticed this problem as well and spoke to Insta360 about it. You can just pull on it firmly and it will come off. I was a little skeptic but it worked. Thanks for the comment. Hope you get some great shots with yours!

      @@BobbyInBlue btw, guys, save this door. it can also be popped back on with the right angle/force, although I would avoid doing it often or you risk eventual breakage on the hinge points.

    This would be nice to use to keep the camera charge while live streaming in 360. 👍

      It would be great for that! I have been wanting to do more 360 live-streaming! Thank for watching!

    Mark K asked, about 4 weeks ago, whether this works with the Insta360 Dual Mic Adapter connected with the Rode Wireless Go mounted with the “cold shoe”. As the Dual Mic Adapter has, on the bottom edge, a USB C port, this implies that this is a “USB C pass-through” port since the Dual Mic Adapter uses the USB C port on the X2/X3. Your answer to Mark 4 weeks ago suggests you had ordered this combo to try it out. Have you confirmed whether these items all work together? So question is, if you take the X2 or X3, mount it to the Power Selfie Stick, add the Cold Shoe, put the Rode Wireless Go on the cold shoe, plug the Mic Adapter (vertical version) into the X2’s USB C port, and then connect the short USB C cable between the Power Selfie Stick and the Mic Adapter, does it all work? That is, will the commands from the Power Selfie Stick pass through the Mic Adapter, starting-stopping the X2 (or X3) and does it also pass battery power through the Mic Adapter? If you’ve tried all this, please share! Seems like a vary cool right if it all works, for getting quality audio (Rode) simultaneous with greater convenience and longer battery life (Power Selfie Stick). Thanks!!

    Buyers beware!
    The Power Selfie Stick presently available in the insta360 accessory store and also Amazon does not have the 1/4 inch female adapter at the bottom anymore (I know it because I had ordered one). That reduces the stick's versatility quite a lot. I believe that the female adapter must have broken off due to its weak design when some users attached another selfie (extension) stick to it.
    Rather than reinforcing the stick's bottom part, they removed the 1/4 inch female adaptor altogether and turned this otherwise useful stick into just another half-as*ed design. Being able to attach just a small tripod to the bottom would have made the power stick an ideal option for me for shooting lengthy time-lapse videos and taking advantage of the stick's battery. The high price of USD 83 is not anymore justified.

      I got mine like 18+ months ago, and it does not have the bottom adapter, just a smooth cap. I think maybe only the 1st batch had this (like units sent out to reviewers, early buyers, etc).
