In real life in middle ages they hit those exact points so not to severely injure your opponent. That showed at the time what chivalrious gentleman they are!
I wish I kept training Jousting I started training with Sir Luke at Caboolture. I was 113 kg's in 2019 that's without any armour on and I was going to buy a Belgian draft horse I have no idea what my waight would of been with full jousting armour on but it would of been a lot 🤣🤣
