instead of cutting the tow wires can i just use the y splitter and cover up the extra end?
Natural Born K1LL@ If you want to splice a female flat 4 pin connector from the y-splitter harness into your factory tow harness and then plug the light bar directly into the new harness you added, that should work fine. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you for the video. Ok. So I tested this before I started the hardwire and everything worked well. I have a 2015 ram 1500. I matched up all the colors and now it doesn't work. I used the wires which were already mounted for a tailgate. Why is there another set of wires I should've used? Luckily I didn't cut. I use the quick connect

LEDGlow I drive a 2008 f150, would this light bar shorten my battery or give me any battery problems in the future if I have the light bar hardwired?
No, this will not give your battery any problems.
No paint prep, just drill and go lol..
Do you guys know what color wire represents what on this model F350?
The brown wire controls the running light, yellow wire controls left signal, green wire control right turn signal and the white wire is for ground.
I'd like this but im shaving my taillights for a custom look and will be using this as replacement for the tails and info can u give me for this? thanks
badfordf150 We currently offer four types of tailgate LED light bars for trucks, a 49" and 60" Red LED Tailgate Light Bar and a 49" and 60" Red and White LED Tailgate Light Bar. Our light bars feature highly visible running, brake, left and right turn signals, hazard signal and with our Red and White Tailgate Light Bars you will have the white reverse signal included. Each light bar comes with a flat 4 pin connector or you can choose to splice the bar's wires into your truck's existing wiring for a secure, hardwired connection. Hey I bought your tailgate light bar a couple months ago and some random person cut the white wire right next to the black connecter thing. Do I need to have that or can I work around it?

can this light bar act like a 3rd brake light to? I see it works with the reverse light. I'm looking for an option for my brake lights because I blacked out my taillights. Thanks.
JustEnufCustoms Yes, our tailgate light bars feature both left and right turn signal functions, brake signal functions and white reverse light functions (if you are using the red/white tailgate light bar option). Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns!

So after the light bar are install. The backup sensors are still working when the vehicle in reverting (R) ?

Thank you. I got the same one (brand and 5 function on video), after I install ( I do not cut the wire) But I plug straight in the trailer outlets. The vehicle is NOT make sound ( beep beep) when I on the revert (R). So I unplugged and do not use them.

Depending on which truck you own, when something is plugged into the 4 pin connector, the backup sensors are disabled. This is a feature of the truck and not the light bar.

Would this light bar LU-LB-60-RW fit and work on a 02 ram with the spare tire hole under the tail gate
d shook I recommend measuring your tailgate first before purchasing a tailgate light bar, but LU-LB-60-RW should fit your 2002 Ram. Also, the tailgate light bar will most likely cover up the spare tire hole. For your particular truck, I would install the tailgate light bar with only the included screws so if by chance you do need access to the spare tire, you can easily remove the tailgate light bar.
