Wow, what a crazy ending. I don't think I've seen such a polarizing choice, Injure vs Raj, in the games you've played. I think what's so fascinating about it is that it's the exact situation where blanks aren't worth their usual amount.
I was very surprised that you played "injure" to empty the bag. Normally, you're a lot more cautious than that.
I really felt INJURE was a wrong play. It was quite possible your opponent could have had both blanks and a relatively simple win, perhaps using that I. The move I settled on was JAI, b6, for 35 pts, closing down the b rank and giving nothing back.
thought the same 👀
INJURE, emptying the bag was the right play i think
if there are any of the 2 unseen blanks in the bag, you are guaranteed to get them
David, I’m curious how you get matched with your opponents. I notice they’re almost always rated lower than you. Is it matchmaking or are these people challenging you specifically?
There's not many people at his level that are actively playing online
@ that’s fair. So it’s matchmaking? I wonder if those people soil themselves when they see who they’re matched against.

injure seemed a bit too risky for me with all those met hooks. if they have both blanks, decent probability they can play ANNOYED in that spot. leaving tiles in the bag meant you could hopefully respond in row o if they bingoed in row n.
I think when an opponent loses contact and immediately comes back suggests he/she is using an anagram solver on the same device .
@@Will-xe7yy Fair comment, but not necessarily true. Most cheaters probably have access to more than one device. And speaking for myself - not very often, but sometimes - the signal to my router drops off, causing a brief (or not so brief!) crash that is really frustrating if I’m losing and more especially if I’m winning!
@johnmayhew9769 I didn't say it was true but in my experience when playing you just get a feeling something's not quite right especially when your opponent is coming back to lay down big scores.
@@Will-xe7yy I apologise if I stated the obvious. I meant no offence.
@@johnmayhew9769 no offense taken, this is just my opinion based on my experience of playing the game online.
Should have considered Pea at B6 at turn 6. Keeps a consonant
David, I love your content and watch all of your Scrabble videos, but I am absolutely begging and pleading with you to PLEASE turn down the gain on your microphone, you can hear you swallowing throughout your videos and it is not an appealing sound! e.g. 29:08
Thank you for feedback, I think I have fixed this for videos released after 29 November. Do let me know if issue persists and of any othe audio issues
