I’m a photography obsessed Geowizard subscriber, currently on holiday in Japan. The number of young people I see walking around with high end rangefinders and older film camera is very heartening and I was in a small store marvelling at all the actual Fuji film on sale. And I’ve taken over 5000 photos in the two weeks I’ve been here and I expect that to reach about 8000 by the time I go home. There will certainly be some photo printing going on and I’m happy to give Fujifilm my business just for sponsoring Geowizard!
I don't get taking pictures of tourist attractions when it's been done so many times. Nobody cares about those 5000 pictures but you so why isn't just experiencing the place good enough?
@ who says I’m just taking photos of tourist attractions? I’ve already had people say that my photos are great and I haven’t even got home yet. Google “pistonheads first solo trip to Japan” and you’ll find a very small selection of my photos under the name “LunarOne”…
