Yoga Asana is prayer, but there is no requirement to which god you connect to. There are many types of asana practice. Kundalini rising is a deeply spiritual practice that is not appropriate for all practitioners. Crystals and rocks vintage because they have quantifiable energy frequencies that are specific to each collection of minerals in that stone. This is some dark age BS....
Thank you for specifically mentioning yoga. I began practicing yoga, despite the warnings, telling myself I could handle it. I would disregard the spiritual stuff; my intentions were innocently focused on exercise and stretching. In less than 2 years I was questioning the deity of Jesus, and had separated myself from my Church. ~My downward spiral was SLOW and SUBTLE. Praise Jesus for mercifully rescuing me.
As a Muslim, I’m surprised you have this concept too. I’m used to the whole concept of “accept all practices even from other religions because you know, it’s all about LOVE and all” etc from the mainstream Christian community. A lot of individuals who live in a secular society, try to promote a sense of secular unity as a way of establishing peace among different religious beleifs and not to provoke debate or heated arguments. Afteral religion is a sensitive topic. I know as a Catholic that I cannot accept this sense of religious unity because it goes completely against the teachings of the church.

I agree. Ever since I was a young teenager I always felt closer to God when I was out in nature, hiking or I used to cut through the woods to go to School and would pray.

Kinda funny to call it new age considering the concept of Kundalini and yoga date back to pre Christian times. I don't see how doing stretches or postures is an act of worship. I think the new age Chrystal stuff is pretty silly and there's certainly a lot of deceivers in the so called new age stuff. But there's also lots of deceivers and issues with Christianity. There just is all you have to do is look at the state of modern Christianity and it's obvious that there's issues. I've come to the conclusion that all religions are filled with both truth and deception. I think religion seems concerned with getting people to look for God within a building or a book or a priest rather than seeking a personal union and experience with God that is available to anyone who seeks it. But if we are blindly accepting dogmas it prevents us from being able to open ourselves up to tgat experience. Everyone arguing over which religion is right and calling anyone who sees things differently from themselves evil is childish and absurd. There's wisdom and value in most religions but there's also deception and error because those religions were established by men who were flawed just as you and I are.

We're talking about something mystical and of other worlds so of course it's going to have the potential to drive some mad but it also has the potential to help some grow. Mine happened spontaneously and since it's happened although it's been an uncomfortable experience it has made me a better person. Since it happened I've stopped getting pleasure out of the things of the flesh. I've become more mindful of how I treat myself and others. I've become more aware of there being a purpose for my existence although I don't know what that purpose is yet. I've become aware that nothing is random and everything is connected at some level. I don't think God wants us on our knees worshipping him and confessing our sins to some guy in a booth. I think religion in many ways shelters us not with truth but from truth. But I can see the value in that because not many people want or our ready for the truth. I'm not even sure that I am but all I know is I said a prayer asking for truth declaring that I did not know it but that there has to be many things beyond this mundane existence and after saying that prayer it's like it awoke some kind of energy in my spine that had quite a few other supernatural symptoms that I won't go into but that Kundalini seems to be the closest description of but I don't think you have to name it. I'm not a Hindu I'm not any religion but I see value in multiple religions. I think all religions are connected in some way. I just don't accept the dogmatic versions of any of them. Dogma has its place in certain material matters but when it comes to spiritual things it doesn't because we don't know or understand those things enough to apply a dogma to them at least not yet anyway. I do agree with you though that people should be very careful when it comes to these things. It certainly can drive a person nuts.
I'm dating a woman who was formally Hindu and she is under a LOT of spiritual oppression. Thank God she's been willing to open herself up to Christ. She's been praying the Hail Mary with me and it's helped her tons. I believe she'll convert through our Lady, prayer, and studying. I would like to point out that if you are feeling energy from a crystal in your collection, that there is a chance that it is radioactive. Also just like the whole working out is not the same as Yoga's worshiping, collecting rocks, minerals, fossils, crystals, ect is not a problem. The issue is false worship. If you have a friend or family member who is a geologist, paleontologist, or mineralogist, or has a hobby of such, please don't try to have them throw out their collection as we study these things, not worship them.

There’s nothing wrong with having a collection of beautiful objects of earth and nothing wrong with curiosity about paleontology. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of any kid who didn’t have some sort of interest about dinosaurs.
Definitely a deeper discussion of the root of why so as people can over stand that even a sport or athletes or just about anything can be idols and worshiped. St. Hildegard recommended certain crystals in her healing practice saying they helped in various ways. Everything God made is good and has a purpose or even many purposes. I wonder if she was right and if there's a way to use them medicinally without it being a doorway for demons. Salt is a crystal and we know we need to consume salt to survive. Perhaps if a piece of quartz gives off radioactive energy or structures your drinking water to make it healthier, that's not a bad thing. We need to avoid demons but avoiding certain aspects of nature on the basis that they invite demons seems itself superstitious.

@gmc4733 by saying that you are assuming one or more of several things that are all wrong. 1 you assume our prayers for eachother do nothing. it doesn't matter who you are on earth your prayers for someone else do nothing because Jesus is the only mediator and there are no secondary mediators or helpers. 2 you are assuming after we die we are either unaware of what is happening on earth, or 3 that we don't have the ability to pray when we are in heaven. both of those options seem repugnant to the idea of heaven talked about in the bible. we know all of these things are not true. we know we are supposed to pray for eachother. it also doesn't make logical sense that we loose the ability to pray after we die. Catholics actually say we enter into a perfect form of prayer with God. also throughout all of human history God has used humans to move his plan. from prophets to teachers God wants us to spread his word and to feed the poor. He wants us to work twards his glory. He wants us to help eachother where we can. Jesus is the final mediator, but that doesn't mean no human influence is possible and it doesn't mean our prayers for eachother are worthless

I've been studying Yoga and Kundalini for over 30 years I understand that from your perspective, practices outside of our faith might seem problematic. However, labeling them as 'evil' can close off meaningful dialogue and mutual understanding. Could we explore the intentions and outcomes of these practices together? Many find profound peace and ethical guidance through yoga, similar to spiritual experiences in our faith. Recognizing the good in others' paths might not change our beliefs, but it can enrich our respect for their experiences and virtues.

I didn't do yoga. For some reason, it didn't attract me. But I did collect crystals. I was attracted to collecting rocks as a child and eventually started collecting crystals in my 30s and doing a law of attraction. My SIL introduced me to tarot readings and fortune tellers. Then, I became obsessed with watching those tarot readings on TH-cam and Instagram. I started learning the meanings of tarot cards. I became reliant on the healing energy of crystals, always "needing" them for some issue or another. They speak to me thru numbers, dreams & visions. I look up the numbers thru Strong's Concordance. For example, ABBA kept showing me the number 177 for days, maybe weeks. Yoga is part of the Catholic school boards curriculum here in Ontario (could be across Canada, but not sure). A young Catholic school teacher was telling me this. My jaw hit the floor, because she didn't have a clue what was wrong w/ this. I gently tried to explain it to her.

I have to say i agree, i like that he was respectful. As a hindu and a yoga teacher , yoga is very traditional and spiritual, we do not discriminate anyone thay chooses to practice it however, it is a hindu practice and those that disrespect it with making it sexual or only practice yoga as a exercise or even do it for influencing reasons is not right.
One faith of other's is darkness for another's faith. To protect christian faith, it is true to maintain the purity of ur practice for ur collective purpose, but to say other faith is darkness, that is different level of sentiment towards devision. Every faith has collective power to manifest their own purpose, that s why they have collective ritual. But it doesnt mean they are dark.

Im not Christian, I heavely dislike it. But I love this man simply because of this video, Yoga is a religious practice from Hindus, it's what they belief and how they worship a precise God.. In medieval times people had no Internet to read up on these things or were likely exposed to yoga or Reiki but they had lots of superstitions that was regional in origin, that impacted on a decisionto stay away from , nor did they have the education to discern other than what they were told to do my the church which is not without its sins. Wish we had more Priests telling us of all the things we as Catholics shouldn't being doing. As a 67 yr old, I was not taught these things in school [1-7th grade]. Our Catholic school was closed, went to public school so it either wasn't taught or taught in high school. To any Priests out there, please do more teaching. I am yoga Teacher and Christian what you are saying is totally true ! I do as a physical practice but the spiritual practice is for my catholic beliefs. And for my students I start to worn them about kundalini yoga. I don’t denie that yoga approach me more to Jesus. Union with Jesus. As well i do my breathing yoga technique to regulate my nervous system for a healthy manner. Because breathing has many benefits for a healthy body not to awaken the kundalini. Crystals are made of nature which and I quote “God made every tree, every stone, every herb was made in his likeness, which he deemed was good” I have a very old Bible, and I have new ones, the old Bible says stones as well, the new bibles don’t. As a Hindu, I agree. Only Hindus who wish to pray to God(s) should perform yoga and dhyan. I personally am bothered by non Hindus or rather those not prescribed to Sanatan Dharmas performing Yoga. It's a sacred practice for us.

Wow! I’m on a healing path for my back after too many surgeries without enuf relief. So I lost 50 lbs and now wanted to start an exercise rountine. Yoga was my first choice because it used to help me with sciatica pain, but after watching this, I will definitely look into Pilates or so other low impact method. What about meditation? Is watching guided sleep/anxiety meditation yt videos ok. I've always new about yoga and crystals etc. and thought the same of meditation. But I searched some relaxing techniques because I recently been experiencing alot of anxiety/breathing problems, and found some breathing techniques and then meditation videos that help me relax. I don't every night only when im so anxious it interferes with sleep. But idk if I should be listening to them I don't want to do anything to come between me and my savior Jesus Christ 🙏

There is a 43 year separation from peter the sower to Catholicism. Thats the time the enemy planted tares among the wheat. Catholicism is the tares. (omnipresent) Mary, saints, and angels are not omnipresent, omniscient, or omnipotent. They can not hear your prayers. Especially if there's Billions of people praying to them. You have them all over your church, your house, or your pocket (rosary). It is 100% idolatry, and blasphemy. Exodus 20:3-6 doesn't say we can't have statues, it says we can't worship them. The key you need to understand is in verse 5 where its clear we can't bow down to them. Question: when you pray do you do it standing or kneeling? It literally doesn’t matter, they can't hear you. False teachings and being unrepentant of sins will lead you to Hell. "You shall know them by their fruit". Any church who fails the test willfully applies Matthew 7:15-20 to themselves. Later I delved into Kundalini Yoga & hereby confirm that I began to experience hauntings...having a teacher would've been the ideal way to practice it, but no matter--I gave up yoga forever after several supernatural occurrences---only to later observe Yoga sweep over the USA like a wave...little wonder why this country is in such a mess.

The next has a drumset accompaning the singing while the next church sings only without any instrument. You should not be worried. God is not worried. The main thing is: do you trust Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of all your sins which He obtained when He died for you on the cross. Do you receive eternal life because Christ rose from the dead after three days and three nights? Do you read the Bible to find out what God wants to change in your life? Whatever you understand, start obeying that and God will lead you to the next step. Put your whole life in Jesus hands and He will sanctify you for His glory. My mother in law is much much worse:( Even though I’m very very close to her and our relationship is very good…. She’s into: hellinger therapy, biodanza, astrology (consults clients based on when&where they were born), some kind of cards (not tera necessarily but similar I guess, house is filled with some kind of rocks from vacations (energy or something, idk?),some some crystals here and there. So, Patanjali’s first verse in his Yoga Sutras is “Yoga Chitta Vritti Nirodhah” which translates to “Yoga is the cessation of Mental Waves/Formations” - Unlike the Samkhya philosophy, Yoga DOES posit a God (Ishwara) that it aims for “union/yuj/yuktam” with - though this “God” is probably a pantheist Energy/Being of the Universe and not necessarily the Abrahamic God of the Christians. Personally, even though I was born a Hindu, I was never attracted to Yoga, since I found and continue to find no spiritual benefit from it. It does not bring me closer to God (even a pantheist Being), so I regard it largely as folly and a spiritual waste of time. There may be some physical benefits - as for the Kundalini, well that and the Chakras are spine-based and mostly in the realm of imagination (which can be very real to those who invest Reality into it like investing Reality into the Real Presence in the Eucharist). It is best for those born into a certain religion to follow that religion. Christianity is a very, very good religion (personally speaking, I find it superior to other faiths, based on my own experience, though there may be personal bias to that statement) - I mostly avoid American Catholics, since they haven’t really read the Bible and focus more on what their Priest or Bishop says. So, in that sense, American “Catholicism” can (and does) become a mind-controlling cult and Groupthink, and a do-this/don’t-do-that guilt trip, that has less to do with the Gospels or the Good News or the New Testament or even the Blessed Eucharist or the Immaculate Conception and more about abortion, gays, politics and all the rest. Maybe the American Catholic priests should read the Bible every so once in a while (preferably in the Greek or Hebrew/Torah-Tanakh, or at least in the Vulgate from Jerome, and actually read the Patristic Fathers like Clement of Rome and Alexandria, Ignatius, Polycarp, Chrysostom, Justin Martyr, Origen and the rest instead of wasting their and their parish’s time with American nonsense. 😄

Thank you for specifically mentioning yoga. I began practicing yoga, despite the warnings, telling myself I could handle it. I would disregard the spiritual stuff; my intentions were innocently focused on exercise and stretching. In less than 2 years I was questioning the deity of Jesus, and had separated myself from my Church. ~My downward spiral was SLOW and SUBTLE. Praise Jesus for mercifully rescuing me.

As an old man, I always KNEW the more a Yoga practitioner one was, the more anti-christian that person spoke and the more NEW AGE they professed. Always gave ME THE CREEEEEPS.
Kinda funny to call it new age considering the concept of Kundalini and yoga date back to pre Christian times. I don't see how doing stretches or postures is an act of worship. I think the new age Chrystal stuff is pretty silly and there's certainly a lot of deceivers in the so called new age stuff. But there's also lots of deceivers and issues with Christianity. There just is all you have to do is look at the state of modern Christianity and it's obvious that there's issues. I've come to the conclusion that all religions are filled with both truth and deception. I think religion seems concerned with getting people to look for God within a building or a book or a priest rather than seeking a personal union and experience with God that is available to anyone who seeks it. But if we are blindly accepting dogmas it prevents us from being able to open ourselves up to tgat experience. Everyone arguing over which religion is right and calling anyone who sees things differently from themselves evil is childish and absurd. There's wisdom and value in most religions but there's also deception and error because those religions were established by men who were flawed just as you and I are.

@@Nick-bx3uz I'm not saying it can't be harmful it certainly isn't for everyone. We're talking about something mystical and of other worlds so of course it's going to have the potential to drive some mad but it also has the potential to help some grow. Mine happened spontaneously and since it's happened although it's been an uncomfortable experience it has made me a better person. Since it happened I've stopped getting pleasure out of the things of the flesh. I've become more mindful of how I treat myself and others. I've become more aware of there being a purpose for my existence although I don't know what that purpose is yet. I've become aware that nothing is random and everything is connected at some level. I don't think God wants us on our knees worshipping him and confessing our sins to some guy in a booth. I think religion in many ways shelters us not with truth but from truth. But I can see the value in that because not many people want or our ready for the truth. I'm not even sure that I am but all I know is I said a prayer asking for truth declaring that I did not know it but that there has to be many things beyond this mundane existence and after saying that prayer it's like it awoke some kind of energy in my spine that had quite a few other supernatural symptoms that I won't go into but that Kundalini seems to be the closest description of but I don't think you have to name it. I'm not a Hindu I'm not any religion but I see value in multiple religions. I think all religions are connected in some way. I just don't accept the dogmatic versions of any of them. Dogma has its place in certain material matters but when it comes to spiritual things it doesn't because we don't know or understand those things enough to apply a dogma to them at least not yet anyway. I do agree with you though that people should be very careful when it comes to these things. It certainly can drive a person nuts.
I'm dating a woman who was formally Hindu and she is under a LOT of spiritual oppression. Thank God she's been willing to open herself up to Christ. She's been praying the Hail Mary with me and it's helped her tons. I believe she'll convert through our Lady, prayer, and studying. In 2018 I was in class at a catholic university, a friend of mine (a nun) mentioned that there’ll be a yoga class in the faculty that week and asked whether I wanted to join or not. I said straight away “That’s not Catholic and I’m not going.”

I would like to point out that if you are feeling energy from a crystal in your collection, that there is a chance that it is radioactive. Also just like the whole working out is not the same as Yoga's worshiping, collecting rocks, minerals, fossils, crystals, ect is not a problem. The issue is false worship. If you have a friend or family member who is a geologist, paleontologist, or mineralogist, or has a hobby of such, please don't try to have them throw out their collection as we study these things, not worship them.

There’s nothing wrong with having a collection of beautiful objects of earth and nothing wrong with curiosity about paleontology. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of any kid who didn’t have some sort of interest about dinosaurs.
Definitely a deeper discussion of the root of why so as people can over stand that even a sport or athletes or just about anything can be idols and worshiped. Everyone really deserves the simple basics of how intent along with a few others small overlooked items can effect this. We all Don’t understand balance enough either. I mean does a singer who believes they are god change this the others would not know and if they were to meet said singer and actually treat the singer better then they treat others or act unauthentic to said singer idolatry or worship.
St. Hildegard recommended certain crystals in her healing practice saying they helped in various ways. Everything God made is good and has a purpose or even many purposes. I wonder if she was right and if there's a way to use them medicinally without it being a doorway for demons. Salt is a crystal and we know we need to consume salt to survive. Perhaps if a piece of quartz gives off radioactive energy or structures your drinking water to make it healthier, that's not a bad thing. We need to avoid demons but avoiding certain aspects of nature on the basis that they invite demons seems itself superstitious.

@gmc4733 by saying that you are assuming one or more of several things that are all wrong. 1 you assume our prayers for eachother do nothing. it doesn't matter who you are on earth your prayers for someone else do nothing because Jesus is the only mediator and there are no secondary mediators or helpers. 2 you are assuming after we die we are either unaware of what is happening on earth, or 3 that we don't have the ability to pray when we are in heaven. both of those options seem repugnant to the idea of heaven talked about in the bible. we know all of these things are not true. we know we are supposed to pray for eachother. it also doesn't make logical sense that we loose the ability to pray after we die. Catholics actually say we enter into a perfect form of prayer with God. also throughout all of human history God has used humans to move his plan. from prophets to teachers God wants us to spread his word and to feed the poor. He wants us to work twards his glory. He wants us to help eachother where we can. Jesus is the final mediator, but that doesn't mean no human influence is possible and it doesn't mean our prayers for eachother are worthless

It’s definitely ok to pray not only to Jesus but to Our blessed mother as well as the saints. I know I do. It definitely helps. I didn't do yoga. For some reason, it didn't attract me. But I did collect crystals. I was attracted to collecting rocks as a child and eventually started collecting crystals in my 30s and doing a law of attraction. My SIL introduced me to tarot readings and fortune tellers. Then, I became obsessed with watching those tarot readings on TH-cam and Instagram. I started learning the meanings of tarot cards. I became reliant on the healing energy of crystals, always "needing" them for some issue or another.
I was getting attacked by witchcraft and lower energies/entities, which pushed me more into using the crystals for healing and "protection."
Fast forward years later, I finally called on the protection of my guardian angel and Saint Michael to protect me from the attacks. I consecrated ALL my crystals to GOD. Since doing this, I have not "needed" to use my crystals. Now, they are just displays of rocks and jewelry to match my outfits. Also, Mother Mary made herself known to me in a dream/vision and reminded me of the movie I watched as a child with my mother called Our Lady of Fatima from the 1950s. I found that movie and rewatched it, and I felt HER presence. She helped me, along with my guardian angel and St. MICHAEL, to move towards a more prayerful life to Jesus and ABBA. They speak to me thru numbers, dreams & visions. I look up the numbers thru Strong's Concordance. For example, ABBA kept showing me the number 177 for days, maybe weeks. Then I finally looked up the number in Strong's, and its meaning was "unveiled," as in praying unto GOD uncovered . So, I started wearing a veil whenever I do my daily prayers. The number stopped showing up after I started veiling myself. Then I kept seeing the number 11 and 1111 prior to, during and after the Christian school shooting by the trans-lady Audrey Hale. Strong's Concordance meaning of 11 is "destruction" and 1111 meaning was "devastator, destroyer". Now just recently 6 days ago I received a dream of the 3 days of darkness. And I'm not the only one who has posted online receiving this dream last week.
So, ABBA saved me and he continues to send assistance to me whenever I still receive spiritual, psychic, or astral attacks from witchcraft or the powers of darkness. Yoga is part of the Catholic school boards curriculum here in Ontario (could be across Canada, but not sure). A young Catholic school teacher was telling me this. My jaw hit the floor, because she didn't have a clue what was wrong w/ this. I gently tried to explain it to her.
Everything he is saying is 100% true. I've been to a Kundalini awakening ceremony. This was a very dark time in my life. Resulting in years of demonic oppression. Do stretches, he's being very charitable, and sensible to the audience.

She points us to Jesus, she just did this morning for me and reminded me that the Lord is with me in my pain and always! I honestly can only ask you to try praying the Rosary with an open heart and mind as opposed to having a skeptical disposition, and, if not, to pray to God for what is truth and isn't. As a hindu and a yoga teacher , yoga is very traditional and spiritual, we do not discriminate anyone thay chooses to practice it however, it is a hindu practice and those that disrespect it with making it sexual or only practice yoga as a exercise or even do it for influencing reasons is not right.

Wow! I’m on a healing path for my back after too many surgeries without enuf relief. So I lost 50 lbs and now wanted to start an exercise rountine. Yoga was my first choice because it used to help me with sciatica pain, but after watching this, I will definitely look into Pilates or so other low impact method. What about meditation? Is watching guided sleep/anxiety meditation yt videos ok. I've always new about yoga and crystals etc. and thought the same of meditation. But I searched some relaxing techniques because I recently been experiencing alot of anxiety/breathing problems, and found some breathing techniques and then meditation videos that help me relax. I don't every night only when im so anxious it interferes with sleep. But idk if I should be listening to them I don't want to do anything to come between me and my savior Jesus Christ 🙏

There is a 43 year separation from peter the sower to Catholicism. Thats the time the enemy planted tares among the wheat.
Catholicism is the tares. We know this because Jesus himself said we will know them by their fruits. A corrupt tree can not bring forth good fruit and will be hewn down.

Catholics argument of "thats the clergies sins not ours", would be valid, if the clergy didn't claim the blasphemous murderings they did throught the dark ages and into modern day, in literally Gods name, and if the Catholics didn't go along with it.

Even Catholics believe the Bible to be inerrant, which means calling one part of the Bible a liar is blasphemy.
It is clear through the lense of History that Jesus was talking about the Roman Catholics in Matthew 7:22-23. Let me explain:

Iniquity means lawlessness. We have to go to Exodus 20:3-17 to find Gods Moral Law. Also, Jesus never done away with the law. He added to it. Examples: Adultery is in your heart, murder is in your heart, turn the other cheek, just to name a few.

The moment any church violates any of these laws is the moment they willfully affirme themselves to Matthew 7:15-20,

Or do you deny that the heads of the church are supposed to be teachers of God? The individuals battle their own sins. The church is to remain sinless. If you deny this test you are calling God a liar to his face. It is blasphemy to deny this.
We are allowed to know who the false prophets are. Otherwise you are literally calling Jesus a liar to his face.

Mary, saints, and angels are not omnipresent, omniscient, or omnipotent. They can not hear your prayers. Especially if there's Billions of people praying to them. You have them all over your church, your house, or your pocket (rosary). It is 100% idolatry, and blasphemy.
Exodus 20:3-6 doesn't say we can't have statues, it says we can't worship them. The key you need to understand is in verse 5 where its clear we can't bow down to them. Question: when you pray do you do it standing or kneeling? It literally doesn’t matter, they can't hear you. Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 made that very clear.

False teachings and being unrepentant of sins will lead you to Hell. "You shall know them by their fruit". Any church who fails the test willfully applies Matthew 7:15-20 to themselves. They are false prophets, and by extension are teaching you false teachings.
Unfortunately Jesus wasn't talking about them in Matthew 12:48-50

I practiced Hatha yoga in the early 1980s before yoga became trendy--ppl said it was weird, since everyone back then was engaged in aerobics. Later I delved into Kundalini Yoga & hereby confirm that I began to experience hauntings...having a teacher would've been the ideal way to practice it, but no matter--I gave up yoga forever after several supernatural occurrences---only to later observe Yoga sweep over the USA like a wave...little wonder why this country is in such a mess.

Later ( in my opinion) the roman Catholic Church became clever: they never split, but all kind of different opinions exist beside eachother in that church. Half of them honours the pope, the other half thinks the pope follows the devil. One side is homosexual and pedophile, the other side believes that's wrong. Now, compare that to protestant, baptist, pentecostal etc churches and you'll see the same outcome.
Many demons float around to seduce the churches. But also a lot are very close to God's word the Bible. And have therefore only very minor differences.
Personally I know a pentecostal church and a baptist church and a traditional reformed church that believe and follow for 98% the same doctrines. Just brothers and sisters in Christ.
Next, look to the culture. God allows and loves different cultures. One church stands up when God's Word is read. The other church only stands up during singing. The next has a drumset accompaning the singing while the next church sings only without any instrument. You should not be worried. God is not worried.
The main thing is: do you trust Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of all your sins which He obtained when He died for you on the cross. Do you receive eternal life because Christ rose from the dead after three days and three nights?
Do you read the Bible to find out what God wants to change in your life?
Whatever you understand, start obeying that and God will lead you to the next step. Put your whole life in Jesus hands and He will sanctify you for His glory.

So, Patanjali’s first verse in his Yoga Sutras is “Yoga Chitta Vritti Nirodhah” which translates to “Yoga is the cessation of Mental Waves/Formations” - Unlike the Samkhya philosophy, Yoga DOES posit a God (Ishwara) that it aims for “union/yuj/yuktam” with - though this “God” is probably a pantheist Energy/Being of the Universe and not necessarily the Abrahamic God of the Christians.
Personally, even though I was born a Hindu, I was never attracted to Yoga, since I found and continue to find no spiritual benefit from it. It does not bring me closer to God (even a pantheist Being), so I regard it largely as folly and a spiritual waste of time. There may be some physical benefits - as for the Kundalini, well that and the Chakras are spine-based and mostly in the realm of imagination (which can be very real to those who invest Reality into it like investing Reality into the Real Presence in the Eucharist).
It is best for those born into a certain religion to follow that religion. Christianity is a very, very good religion (personally speaking, I find it superior to other faiths, based on my own experience, though there may be personal bias to that statement) - I mostly avoid American Catholics, since they haven’t really read the Bible and focus more on what their Priest or Bishop says. So, in that sense, American “Catholicism” can (and does) become a mind-controlling cult and Groupthink, and a do-this/don’t-do-that guilt trip, that has less to do with the Gospels or the Good News or the New Testament or even the Blessed Eucharist or the Immaculate Conception and more about abortion, gays, politics and all the rest. Maybe the American Catholic priests should read the Bible every so once in a while (preferably in the Greek or Hebrew/Torah-Tanakh, or at least in the Vulgate from Jerome, and actually read the Patristic Fathers like Clement of Rome and Alexandria, Ignatius, Polycarp, Chrysostom, Justin Martyr, Origen and the rest instead of wasting their and their parish’s time with American nonsense. 😄

Much of Jesus teachings didn't got to the Bible which I must say has been "adultered" and censured over centuries.
The God from the old testament, that evil, greedy, punishing God with stupid rules, IS NOT the same loving and true God Jesus was talking about. In the apocrypha Jesus actually talked about reincarnation, but that concept was so strange for that time and área, that it was later censured and deemed herectic, and they Brought back the stupid rules and wrong ideas from the old testament again, being this wrong and limiting ideas the status quo of that time and the very ignorance that Jesus came to save us from. Before this poisoned adultered Christianity we have now there was GNOSTICISM which was the very first "movement" let's call it that way, that sprouted from the STILL FRESH teachings of Jesus in the first centuries, before they hunted and burn't almost everything the gnostics had and persecuted them, taking out more than 90% of what Jesus said and bringing back in the freaking evil god from the old testament, that Jesus died to save us from.
