Hello! Would you keep posting updates. I have a mare who is literally in the exact same position right now. Her p3 is not as rotated as this guys is but she is in pain. I just had her trimmed again to try and do some correcting and she is pretty sore all over again. I don't know if this is a normal response after a trim being she is foundered. I am now getting her fitted with silicone shoes to try and give some comfort. I would love to know what you think and to follow along with this case. My horse can barely walk right now since the trim so I am worried. I don't know if it is just her adjusting to the trim or if something has been done wrong. My Ferrier dropped her heals a bit then shaved down the hoof wall on the top a bit to try and align it with the p3. She took nothing off of the sole or the toe from the bottom to try and protect the bone. Thanks!
Lovely prognosis and beautiful repair and recovery. Most satisfying to all involved. Socks is a beautiful horse. Personality to die for.
